The opening ceremony began an hour later, and to be honest, I was completely board. 

After a few speeches, they called our main character, Kirito, a valuable student, to the stage.

Kirito in his mind "Wait, how come they selected me as a valued student? During the enrollment exam, I believed I did the worst.

He has chosen to be Valuable student because he was training outside the city in forest for 2 years with his system helping him.as everyone is E rank is already E+  rank and he thought rich kid will be higher kids will be higher rank then him because they could drink bunch of expensive potion to raze there rank but potion also have a limit.
