Hi I am Aster, just an ordinary high-school student who has zero luck with love whatsoever, but let me tell you my story. My love story.

"Guys wanna come over?" I said, 

"sure what do you wanna do?" Said Aries. 

Aries is my best friend, my closest friend, and he's always there for me,

"Oh just hang out." I said

"Let's play some board games and card games!" Said Aries 

"let's go!" 

"and bring the boys too, so we can have fun." I said 

"Sure, see you later then." said Aries

Later that evening.

Around 3:00 pm my friends arrived. 

We played Chess and other board games, played some music, and even did some homework together,

When we were done, our talks started getting deep, 

"so how's life been for everyone" I asked

"It's been great, just spending time with everyone" said one of my friends 

"Aster." Aries called, 

"Yeah?" I asked

"You know Luna right?" 

"What about her?"

"I think she likes you"

Everyone agrees and continues to tell me Luna likes me. 

I said "pfft don't give me false hope"

"You know how terribly my old relationships went."

"You can't just keep bringing up the past, not because your old relationships ended up bad means you won't have a good one."

Aries said. 

"I know but, I haven't fully moved on." 

"She was my everything." 

"You all know that." I said, 

"she made a huge impact in my life, I don't know how to forget her."

"Well maybe by loving someone else." one of my friends said. 

"Fine whatever, *by loving someone else.* That's easy for you to say." I replied.

But then I thought to myself, why don't I try again? Why don't I give love another shot.

"You know what? if you can give me proof Luna likes me then I might try ask her out." I said.

Aries smiled and then he said "well during our dance competition who taught you the dance steps?"

I said "well Luna did."

"Who helped you with your math homework?" Said one of my friends.

I said "Luna did."

"Who's been talking with you online lately?"

"Luna.."

"Okay but not because she does these things means she likes me, she's just friendly."

"Friendly?" Aries asked 

"she's clearly into you, stop acting like you don't see it." 

"Yeah whatever." But deep down I actually hoped that it was true.

To give you a little idea about my past. Let me tell you a short story, 

there was a girl I once loved, 

I loved her so much, she was my everything, 

the girl I was "willing to die for." 

When suddenly things got bad. 

We ended up breaking up, 

it took me so long to move on. Infact. I haven't really fully moved on yet. 

Because everytime I close my eyes, all I see is her, 

everything reminded me of her, 

as if my whole world revolved around her,

it was so hard to listen to the songs we loved, but I swear I tried, 

but it hurt me everytime I did. 

And I told my self that 

"Maybe love just isn't for me." 

And I stopped searching for love, fearing it'll break me again. 

But deep down I knew I needed someone, deep down I wanted her to come back. 

But She never did.
