I awoke to a jolt, finding myself lying on the rooftop of a traditional Japanese house. The wooden shingles beneath me felt rough against my skin, and the cool night air sent shivers down my spine. As I looked around, the sight was both bewildering and surreal, unlike anything I had experienced before.
Questions raced through my mind, trying to make sense of what was happening, but my head felt heavy, and my vision blurred. My body refused to cooperate as I struggled to sit up, and I felt a rising nausea in my gut.
Suddenly, a bolt of lightning seemed to shoot through my mind, and memories flooded back. I remembered who I was, Orihime's brother, and the tragic car accident that took my life.
How could these memories be mine when they belonged to someone else?
No, I was not him. I had died and was now reincarnated into this strange new world, with another body, a spirit in reality.
I scanned my surroundings, taking in the traditional Japanese house and the sprawling city beyond it. I needed to figure out where I was in the timeline to navigate this new reality. My memories flooded back again, and I remembered my promise to protect my sister at all costs.
I pushed the thought aside and focused on my immediate goals. Finding Orihime was top of the list.
Somehow, I had a feeling that seeing her would help me make sense of my jumbled memories and confusion. The journey ahead would not be easy, and I knew I would need to protect her at all costs.
As I contemplated my next move, I couldn't help but chuckle at the irony of my situation.
"Even if she has forgotten me," I said to myself, the bitter realization hitting me. Sora Inoue was inside me, changing me.

Don't mind me, I'm just here
thanks for the chapter
This looks like a good start. One tweak though, can you make the text left justified? I am reading this on a cell phone, and with the text being justified on both sides it looks a little strange.
Really? It looks good on My phone. I Will ask in the forum.
@Aonte it looks good to me now. I'm not sure if you made a change, or if it was just a bug on my phone.
It is kinda weird he said in first person, that he reincarnated as Orihime's Brother. Why not say his name... then say that he has to find his sister... don't think you need to mention her name yet. He has her brother's memories so he might just be casual and refer to her as his sister ratger than mention her by name unless he was speaking to the readers. Or you can make it feel like someone else, third person, is describing what is happening like a voice of the world kinda deal not another character.
This is actually meant to show his conflicting personalities. The mc just took the body and the original Sora didn't fuse with him completely. As for calling Orihime by her name. I actually call My sister by her name, I rarely say sister. I haven't noticed it until now.
@Aonte was refering to Sora's japanese centric mentality of calling his sister one-san, one-chan, etc... but in english rather than her name, I don't use sister for mine either but I call her nicknames related to her name. I don't think anyone in my family uses my first name... just nicknames related to my second name.
@Ruiso Oh ok, I just can't write like that. I would ve making weird faces out of cringe and people would notice.
