"This is boring," Evelin muttered as she watched a Summons kill a Kobold with ease.

"Any particular reason?" I asked without real interest.

Evelin looked at Gabriel angrily "Well, it could be because an idiot doesn't allow us to do anything but Kill and kill even more" She commented with clear anger.

Gabriel didn't give him even a look "Increasing our level is important"

"LEVEL?!" He got up from his seat. "Our level hasn't increased in the slightest once we reached level 6, it's clear that no matter how much low-level trash we kill, it won't influence our current strength in the slightest."

“….” Gabriel didn't reply, but he actually agreed with her statement.

It had been two days since we started hunting monsters, and aside from sleep breaks and a few breaks in between, we spent the whole day hunting monsters to increase our level.

But unfortunately this never happened.

Level 6 was the current max for both of us, although Evelin had the Pact buff that increased her level by 7, this didn't change the fact that we were both stuck at level 6.

Even my attributes and abilities hadn't increased in the slightest since reaching Heroic Rank. Had he reached the limit of his current strength?

He was wondering many things, but in the end he just had to wait for stronger monsters to arrive so he could become stronger. Even so, he didn't want to sit around doing nothing, so they continued to kill monsters even though it was completely useless.

But it seems that Evelin reached her limit sooner rather than later.

Gabriel sighed. "Then what do we do?" He asked "Let the monsters continue to increase their numbers while we rest on the side without caring in the slightest."

Although weak were still too many monsters that appeared every day, if he didn't continue to eliminate them it would be a matter of time before a gigantic horde of monsters would form, and that was something he was not willing to allow.

Evelin just said "Can't we just let the other groups deal with them?" Asked.

Gabriel looked at her like an idiot “Groups? Although it's true that they could, we don't even know where they're gathered.” So far they hadn't found a single group of humans, including the Group Evelin was originally attached to. So they couldn't count on them at all.

Gabriel, already tired of this conversation, ignored her as he said "Just get used to it, there are still a few months before the end of this test"

Evelin, without saying anything and dejected, lay down on the ground while constantly muttering something she didn't understand at all.

The Summons finished killing the group of monsters and went to find another one, only to constantly repeat. This was already a complete routine for Gabriel and torture for Evelin.

Evelin, even with her complaints, was also not far behind once she was ordered to fight the weak monsters, showing no mercy and eliminating them so fast it was ridiculous.
The strength of her opponents was too low, so Evelin was unable to stand out in any way.

Once the nearby monsters were eliminated, he sent his summons to eliminate the monsters in the vicinity while Gabriel and Evelin returned to the camp.

In this way, the day proceeded without complications.

Some time later, the end of the day arrived.
They ate and enjoyed a well-deserved rest.

The next day began, and they continued with the routine.

Several days passed, the number of monsters that had perished in his hand were countless. It was so much that it could form mountains of corpses, but luckily monster corpses tended to disappear after a certain amount of time.

This he noticed when a nearby corpse disappeared once the day was over. That's just why they didn't have to worry about the corpses around since they would eventually disappear over time.

Gabriel was practicing the use of firearms as always, he had created some new firearms for every occasion. Some being Submachine Guns and others being Bolt Action Rifles. This is to be able to face different situations correctly, being that the submachine guns are for when facing numerous enemies, and the bolt-action rifle for strong enemies.

His proficiency in the use of weapons had increased so much that to his surprise he had gained a new attribute.

He discovered this when at the end of a training day, he discovered that his attribute window had a new entry.

<Attribute information>

[Attribute: Gunmaster] [Grade: General]

[Slightly increases dexterity and reaction time]

[■ Eagle Eye]

To his surprise, it was a class completely tied to firearms. Having skills that complement it.
Currently it was obvious that he had her at the lowest rank, being the rank of {General}. So it would take a while to be able to increase it enough to get a new attribute skill.

Gunmaster's only skill, [Eagle Eye] allowed him to clearly see anything up to a certain distance. So it was a perfect skill for a firearms user who is primarily governed by their vision.

After some practice and trying a few things, he was able to notice that his overall firearms skill had increased drastically since he received the new attribute. This mainly made his reaction time faster and he was able to hit ninety percent of the bullets he fired, whereas before all the bullets he fired only hit half of the targets at best.

Aside from [Gunmaster], [Commander] had also been strengthened as it had finally increased from General Rank to Rare. To achieve this, he had to be constantly issuing orders on the battlefield to meet the attribute's requirements. Though tedious since he didn't consider himself a proficient person at it, he had to do it to increase one of his attributes.

Evelin instead got an attribute called [Warrior], a combat-based attribute for a person who fights in the vanguard. Compared to [Swordsman], this one was inferior, not even having any skills, but he appreciates that it improved his combat sense and other small bonuses but when accumulated, they were good enough to compete against [Swordsman].

We also had some training sessions with each other to test our current strength. Although the levels were the same, the attributes and strength completely geared towards direct combat meant that no matter what he did he couldn't even inflict a wound on Evelin.

Even bullets couldn't get through his sword intent. Which was pretty impressive but was long overdue.

Normal bullets were completely ineffective against these offensive skills that could move faster than a bullet and even if it could somehow hit it, their bodies were tough enough to withstand the blow without too much damage. So normal bullets were completely inefficient.

I was a little uncomfortable because of all those problems with normal weapons. But once [Gunmaster] ranks up he could compete with Evelin's offensive class. But until that time came, he would still be utterly defeated by Evelin.

In this way the days went by, and with that the passage of time too.
10 days had passed since we arrived at this place.

***

In another place, a young man with black hair and wearing the typical clothes that all humans in this place wore. He was walking with a spear in his hands as he followed another human with blond hair and red eyes.

"Are you sure what you're doing?" asked the one with the Spear.

The black haired boy nodded confidently. "You don't trust me even after I got you that weapon?" I ask knowing the answer.

The one with the spear didn't answer, and continued walking.

The black haired boy led the way until he stopped in a peculiar place. In it you could see a giant twisted tree with the part of the trunk with strange inscriptions.

"Finally" he murmured as he approached and touched the inscriptions, they glowed and the trunk slowly opened, revealing a kind of portal with red ends and a black central part, it moved like a vortex that seemed to devour everything.

"This is what you were looking for?" The one with the spear asked, confused, he didn't know what that was but he felt an ominous presence on the other side.

"It took more time than I expected, but here is what was promised" I commented "A place with strong monsters where we can get stronger than any of the people who are in this test"

“….” The boy with the spear looked at the portal with some intrigue.

"I thought you wanted strength" I comment while looking at him "But it seems that you're just a coward who can't stand hardships" He said provocatively.

The one with the spear growled and entered without hesitation. "If this is a trap, I swear I'll kill you even if it means dying in the process," he commented as his body disappeared on the other side.

The boy smiled wordlessly, and entered.
