Onwards To The Imp Eye Region

It has been 20 days since the meeting with the old and new sub-commanders. The war was exactly 2 months old.

After the meeting, Heian Ciemnosc spent 2 entire days neglecting everything except searching for a way to make the systems in the cannons as he promised. Afterwards, he took a whole day to start the sub-commanders' equipment, from armor to Mortal weapons, and massive production of Mortal weapons with the resources the Academy sent to this army. And in the end, he created hundreds of batches of all kinds of Mortal weaponry, from the price of 1,000,000 silver coins to 10,000,000.

Unlike before, Heian Ciemnosc didn’t delve himself into making tools for everyone. He put tons of Mortal weapons in the markets of the three Cities and continued creating a few more batches before taking a break. He wasted no more than 5 days forging weapons, some armor, and fewer tools before he could freely dual cultivate with Sakura and cultivate together with the rest of the COs. In this way, the money was making itself as he and his team members progressed.

Several sub-commanders even asked for 2 or more Mortal weapons. They had no trouble spending millions of silver coins to have them. And Heian Ciemnosc was more than glad to have such worthy clients. As for his other Mortal weapons, they were slowly sold over the course of 2 the next 2 weeks. Most troopers with that money only needed a Mortal weapon to accompany them. They were powerful enough but didn’t have enough merit points or couldn’t find a good enough Mortal arsenal for themselves.

Thus, the most peculiar Mortal weapons with unique features were sold fast, while the cheaper ones took several days. When those 20 days were about to end, Heian Ciemnosc now had a few hundred million silver coins in his pockets. His cultivation base had previously broken to the 7th stage and was already at the peak level.

His COs continued to cultivate, but their ordinary cultivation became slower. However, since the terrible trio was near the middle stages of the Spirit Formation realm, they took this time to further consolidate their foundation. Having a team leader with such a stupid foundation pressed on their shoulders, they wanted to at least attempt to be equal. They could figure out their limits from then on.

Sakura’s cultivation base and foundation had the easiest time consolidating when breaking through. While Esteban, Fengli, and Violet took a few days and up for anything. The terrible trio and the sub-team leader broke through once more. Violet broke through and reached the peak of the 4th stage. While the powerful trio entered the initial levels of the spirit Formation realm 5th stage.

Oleg and Victor broke into the 2nd stage, and Aleksander further consolidated his foundation at the peak of the 1st stage. With their own Mortal weapons and fighting together with their team leader, their armor would prove to be quite impressive in the First Step, becoming effortlessly powerful enough to accompany them even after they reached the Spirit Rebirth realm. They had not yet fought so intensely, but the army’s next goal would push them to.

After almost 3 weeks passed by, and as a result, thousands and thousands of Academy cannons were created, allowing every sub-commander to have every team carry at least 5 cannons, with only one being used at once. This was to not only hide some of their strength but to create discipline at war so that any team could take any order without being unaware of how to proceed.

Cultivators weren’t citizens. They didn’t need to focus solely on one job to become an expert. If anything, the worse teams required a week to get familiarized with the use of cannons and taking orders. But other than that, sub-commanders sparred with each other with deadly force. It was no other reason than to validate to let each other become used to deathly situations. Losing a sub-commander wouldn’t be the same as previously.

They now wielded at least 1 Mortal weapon and armor that was only inferior to Earth grade equipment. They also commanded 30,000 troops and shared a transporting ship, more or less. They were practically some of the most consequential First Step assets in the war, and the enemy wouldn’t be dumb enough to miss that. Of course, Heian Ciemnosc’s innovations made the First Step armies in other places of the Kingdom fight the enemy with more ease.

However, even as the Academy was pressured and defeated a few times, the enemy’s weak First Step cultivators were showing. Their lack of peak Spirit Rebirth realm couldn’t compare to the Secon Step, Wrath Nihility Academy’s, First Step students. Only 2 months had passed, but thousands of Sub Divisions were already reconquered by the Academy’s forces, and the enemy had only been defending.

According to the medallion’s news, the hidden enemy’s leaders have turtled somewhere in the Kingdom after devastatingly losing against the Academy’s upper echelons. The enemy was in decline, and the Academy’s might was showing! The world was watching this happen, but even as the Academy had the advantage, compared to its previous face in the 10 year war, they lacked so many things.

Besides cultivating, meditating, and creating, Heian Ciemnosc and his team spent time doing a few little missions. After all, Heian Ciemnosc participated in 1 out of 3 battles, and he barely gained merit even as he killed a more predominant portion of enemies than others in his first battle. Within these days, his merit points went from 2,227 to 4,018 after receiving the merit points from the Academy once their operation was over. The rest were from killing enemies in the first battle and clearing nearby enemy settlements.

Heian Ciemnosc guided Sakura, Violet, and Oleg further into their blacksmith profession. Their craftsmaking improved, and they could forge Mortals weapons with a price from 1 to 3 million. All Mortal weapons were of the same quality, but only some unique specifications could make one become costly. The threshold would be when a Craftsperson could create Earth grade equipment. Currently, not even their team leader could do that.

Every day, Heian Ciemnosc would miss his time training and being guided by his Master. And with those last ‘activities’ with Milyy, he thought a little more about her. As for Elena and his wives, he didn’t worry. They were all big girls.

On this day, precisely the 2nd month since the war started. The army began moving. They would finally enter the Imp Eye Sub Division! The early morning was used to prepare. Every student trooper went to their sub-commander to receive instructions about their role in the next operation. What was about to follow wasn’t the same as before. It wouldn’t be the whole army going from one place to another, but divided!

The army was ready to separate and conquer City after City in the Imp Eye Sub Division. Cari and Lionel would take 200,000 and 300,000 student troops each, with the rest left behind to secure the 3 Cities with only a transporting ship in charge of flying between them. With the plethora of cannons fabricated up until this point, there were still many more to come. As the main army left, the garrison left at the 3 Cities already had over 500 Academy cannons each, with each cannon position belonging to a team.

Even then, more were being fabricated, with the main army carrying several thousand more than that. In short, the main army had a little more than ⅔ of the cannons, while the rest remained in the Cities. As time passed, and the Cities fabricated more cannons, they would have a terrifying defensive countermeasure. The Cities’ barriers were gone, and the walls were superficially repaired for now. Light green protective array formations kept them safe.

With all this, the commander and the army’s soldier units could finally rest at ease and departed to continue reconquering the Endless Desert Division!

Whooooshh… whoooooshhh… whooooshhh…

From a distance, even hundreds of kilometers away, one could see the 3 Cities’ tallest buildings overflown by the gigantic transporting ships. They slowly rose from a low altitude until reaching a few thousand meters above the ground level before moving to the northwest. Along the way, not a single cultivator was seen due to the previous clearing off of enemies. All that remained in the settlements were old, retired citizens from hundreds to even thousand-years-old and civilians.

After spending a couple weeks under the Academy once again, the hidden terror they felt was long gone. Before, they could only think of how peaceful and nice, even if struggling, life was when the Academy was the Kingdom’s untitled ruler. They treated those memories like dreams. But now that the Academy immediately sent its forces and reclaimed their prestige, power, and mightiness, they came out of their houses and waved at the huge vessels in the sky.

Silently wishing them good luck or cheering out loud, citizens and civilians looked up and sent their Academy’s heroes off. Scenes like these were transmitted to the ships above, sending shivers to some troopers. Others simply continued with what they were doing. They had between 1 and 3 hours to rest and meditate before going into battle. Many days have passed since the third City was conquered, and troopers either broke through or gained enough experience to be considered veterans.

Troopers had a lot of free time. Besides going into a few missions, all they could do was train and spar with each other. Occasionally, the Concealed Ornament Team expanded their scouting group. After all, they were practically exterminated in the second battle. With the commander’s approval, Heian Ciemnosc chose whoever he deemed worthy before letting some sub-commanders get their people inside his scouting group.

Heian Ciemnosc couldn’t be everywhere. He wanted some sub-commanders to send him capable people before returning them if they didn’t have a good attitude. This way, whichever army Heian Ciemnosc did not go to, they wouldn’t have to figure out ‘how to’ scout. From his scouting group, a couple dozen could be considered to have enough potential to form part of his team, but they still had to perform in a battle.

… At this moment, in Cari’s transporting ship, in the Concealed Ornament Team’s bedroom. Heian Ciemnosc and Sakura were on a bed. Her fragile-looking body, because of her slimness and lack of muscle - tenderly bounced up and down and back and forth as Heian Ciemnosc’s knees and below were covered by a blanket. Her whole body, engulfing his mastiff and rubbing her insides, was flamboyantly seen as Heian Ciemnosc held it with his right hand.

Even as he uncovered their bodies, she continued riding him, his dark Power Energy cursing through her as she embraced him tighter and warmer. Her fingertips traveled from his pecs to her face, moving as she lost control of herself slightly more and slowly began shaking until she commenced convulsing. Before long, she fell on Heian Ciemnosc’s chest with her left ear on her sternum and her nice - but small - bottom up. Her lower mouth was still fully ingesting that raw piece of meat.

As she recuperated her breath with soft and kittenish little gasps and pants, she could feel his seed trying to latch to everywhere they could reach. For once, she treated his semen like an auspicious guest, hoping it would stay and make a home for itself. However, she sobered up when she remembered Heian Ciemnosc was practically infertile and non-reproductive. She slowly lifted her head with some struggle and kissed his pale skin and pecs a little before feeling Heian Ciemnosc’s right hand warm her left cheek.

Her puckered lips, kissing his body, slowly retracted, and her eyes were dangerously entrapping. His body was always so cold, but when they were intimately close… it would make her feel this strange warmth. It differed from Elena and his wives. Heian Ciemnosc understood this much. Sakura could only feel it when exchanging pleasure, but they could whenever he touched and was physically close to them.

Naturally, Heian Ciemnosc knew Sakura wasn’t being converted and evangelized to the dick-loving-brain side. But she at least genuinely enjoyed being intimate with him, not just because of the dual cultivation method.

Heian Ciemnosc looked down at her. Her eyes and the dimly lit room didn’t diminish her bright golden blonde hair color. She looked astounding despite not being a beauty herself. Quivering, she opened her lips to try saying, “W- what’s- what is it-”

“Mmmf~...” Sakura felt the back of her head encompassed by his right palm, effortlessly pulling her towards him as Heian Ciemnosc lowered his neck and met her mouth with his. She immediately satisfyingly moaned through her nostrils and closed her eyes. Their teeth, saliva, tongues, inner cheeks, and suction did their pleasantries before it stopped with a lustrous silver trace of saliva and their faces only an inch away.

“You know,” Sakura spoke again, this time with her usual self-confidence. She didn’t care about their lips tracing and dancing as she did, with that trace of saliva becoming nastier. “You’re really such a good lover. No wonder Elena wanted to know if I really was homosexual, hehe. I never thought this could happen, much less with my direct superior.”

“Too denigrating for a glorious and pure woman such as thee?” Heian Ciemnosc commented, eliciting a smile on Sakura’s face. “Yeah. Hey! I’m young, okay? Not everyone’s a monster like you or your Senior- ah no, ‘Junio’ Apprentice Sister, alright?”

“Oh, I forgive you. But only if you do something for me,” Heian Ciemnosc said, and she smiled naughtily. Her canines dug into the corners of her lower lip. She struggled to resist Heian Ciemnosc’s right hand on top of her head, lowering her down. But she ultimately failed and found herself slapped, with her face roughly put and rubbed against his fleshy rod. It was so pale yet melting her skin whenever she touched it, striking her each time.

Bluurp, slurrp, shllshhhh~... Before long, sounds were emitted from Heian Ciemnosc’s groin. Just one look down was enough to drive him ready for another few quickies. They had to battle, after all. Sakura used only her lips and long tongue to make a mess of his sensitive skin, even letting her lips roll outwards with relish before she licked them while still servicing him with her utmost.

… Naughty time was over. 3 hours passed by. Cari’s transporting ship was one of the few that had to go deeper into the Imp Eye Sub Division to target a decently powerful City. It overflew several thousand meters above the other enemy Cities’ barriers, ignoring them even as their cannons futilely attempted to strike it down after it passed by them. There was an air of arrogance and expertise in the first 4 transporting ships as they overflew the enemy’s territory like it was nothing and theirs at the same time.

But this time, it was 9 transporting ships taking the skies as their garden. Cari had 6 vessels with him. Lionel knew Cari was more capable than him in battling and commanding, so he opted for a safer and only took 3. Besides, this operation would finalize with both parts of the army meeting at the Imp Eye Sub Division’s center, where many Cities coexisted. Lionel would also start closer to the mightiest enemy Cities, dealing with whatever the enemy sent in his way.

On the other hand, Cari and his part of the army would be once more divided to conquer more Cities, slowly making their way to the Sub Division’s center and meeting up. This would take a few days if everything went well, and they could then continue to conquer the rest of the Sub Division after consolidating their force and strengthening the reconquered Cities’ defenses.

But that was in the long run. For now, Heian Ciemnosc had readied his team up and accompanied the other 60,000 or so in the transporting ship at the main hangar. Everything was normal. Sakura was as damn serious and intense as ever, sharing some of that seriousness with Fengli as the COs of the Concealed Ornament Team. Behind them were about 80 team members, who were trained and acclimatized to the team’s customs.

They looked damn serious but carried unwavering determination. It wasn’t rare to the army, but the Concealed Ornament seemed to take that from the strongest 3 COs. While that determination came from their training after enduring so much and proving themselves. The scouting group was already beyond 300, but they couldn’t do much in this operation as the army would immediately enter the enemy’s territory at once.

At this moment, Cari walked into the hangar, raising a multitude of silent exclamations jumping around. As he began giving a small speech, Heian Ciemnosc became intrigued only when he heard the last few words. Cari spoke calmly, coldly, and directly, “I know you’ve already met this transporting ship’s piloting team. But I present you to them once more so you can see the faces of those who will save your asses if you mess up. Additionally, there will be an assessment for every single team to sub-commander after the battle.”

Cari pointed at the few tens of cultivators with stern and devoted expressions as they stood beside Cari. They arrived at the hangar with them. Cari continued to explain, “Only when you are in grave danger should you send a message requesting the transporting ship’s immediate support. A machine gun might be allocated to help said team. If anyone dares to ‘play’ with this system, after an assessment is made, you will be punished if wrongly used!”

There was no need to elaborate on what was the wrong use of such commands. Whoever misused such a critical life-saving opportunity could only be done by an idiot. Still, the student troops didn’t want to accidentally call upon and request help unless it was fundamentally needed. Nevertheless, knowing they had to first ‘warm up’ before entering battle, they calmed down, becoming pensive, trying to figure out which conditions they should wait in order to request help.

Seeing their reaction, Cari was satisfied as he nodded before taking the lead to stand before the 60,000, his back towards them as he took 2 short sables and wielded them. Nobody dared to imitate him and let this moment be his as the others waited for the order to battle. The piloting team bowed and left the hangar, hurrying to their positions as the monitors on the walls and at the corners showed they were just 12 minutes away from their target.

A few minutes later, Heian Ciemnosc suddenly sensed they were growing hundreds of kilometers from the ground, his Spirit Sense free and unrestrained as it enveloped the entire transporting ship and a little further than that. The speed increased, and Heian Ciemnosc saw everyone start stiffening their bodies, their muscles flexing and their faces growing stern. Everybody slowly leaned backwards, and before they could grow used to it, they suddenly felt their bodies jerk but didn’t move at all!

Whiiiistlkeee~~... The student troopers could hear inside the vessel as the whistling force their transporting ship was nose-diving with. As they felt their bodies pushed and tightened into space by the laws, the monitors showed a City becoming larger with the passing few seconds. At this moment, they once again felt their bodies jerk. Heian Ciemnosc felt the transporting ship flying sideways and towards a diagonal angle instead of only going up as light tremors went off under everyone’s soles.

Pum, pum, pum…

‘The big bombs…’ Knowing those were the sounds of the special thrusters he designed, Heian Ciemnosc couldn’t help but feel proud as he looked into a monitor to see how they effectively rendered the enemy’s first defensive measure useless!
