The heavy rain continued to pour down as Ren contemplated the situation, he recently woke up from his sleep.

both Lisa and him were huddled inside a tree. ‘Did someone cut a tree open?’

He didn’t know who put them here but it didn’t seem like he or she had any malicious intent.

If they did they would have probably done something already or at least tried to tie them up, Given how a tree was opened.

The person is skilled at swordsmanship or magic.

Ren seeing as it was raining heavily had a crazy idea, Getting hit by an evolved orc and almost being burned alive was certainly a new experience and he may have hit his head in the process so why not fight it again?

It had a fire affinity, it would be weakened because of the weather, additionally with the requirements met he could use his other affinity.

Sparks of Lightning started to flicker, he was the only one with an odd requirement.

Out of all the students enrolled in the Academy, he was the only one with this condition.

His Mana pool was low, his mana regeneration was slow, spells, he knew a lot but was unable to use them.

Student’s we’re able to increase mana capacity and yet he couldn’t increase it, no matter how much he trained and trained it didn’t increase. ‘For the first time, I can use spells with the Mana contract’

He perfected his mana management with his small mana capacity and because of it, he lived ‘l think I’ll just stop thinking if I keep thinking I’ll go crazy

He sighed, he truly did hit his head, Lisa was still sleeping peacefully.

“Do you wanna kill that evolved ogre?”

Ren's eyes widened as he turned towards the source of the voice. Standing before him was a figure with white hair and yellow eyes. It was Luna Evernight, an A-class student from Arcane Academy, there goes the entirety of Volume 1 Ren thought as he imagines Volume 2 derailing from its natural course.

“Luna Evernight from A class?” Ren asked, his surprise evident in his tone.

She nodded in confirmation, her gaze unwavering. Without hesitation, she threw a sword at Ren, who caught it. It was the very sword he had dropped while running away.

Walking over to Ren, Luna sat down in front of him and extended her hands. Ren, understanding the gesture, shook her hand firmly. "Thank you for helping us," he said with a faint smile.

Luna nodded in response but remained standing, her gaze locked onto him.

Ren couldn't help but wonder about her intentions. ‘Is she waiting for me? She doesn't speak much, but when she opens up, she does speak a few more words’ he thought.

As he stood up and prepared to carry Lisa, Luna's presence was still strong. "Wait, before we go, my name's Ren. I'm not sure why you're helping us, but couldn't you have killed it on your own?" he inquired, curious about her motivations.

She was an A-class student, and compared to Him and Lisa she was suited for this type of situation.

An evolved monster grows 10x of its original strength and based on what kind of monster or affinity of the monster it could be much worse.

Luna's response was measured. "Electric magic, it's rare," she said, her voice carrying a hint of something more beneath the surface. “I would like to see It in action”

“So you want me to go on a suicide strike” Ren's heart raced as he considered Luna's request. The weight of the situation pressed upon him.

the rain, the evolved ogre, and now Luna's interest in his rare magic. He hesitated for a moment, weighing the odds, but the thought of taking action gnawed at him, he could just think rationally and wait it out and show a bit of magic in front of Luna, yet he could feel that he would regret not killing that Ogre.

“No, not a suicide strike," he finally decided, determination creeping into his voice.

"I think I have a plan. The rain weakens the ogre's fire affinity, and with my electric magic, I might be able to exploit that with the weather. I need to be strategic, though."

Luna's expression remained unreadable, but she nodded, acknowledging his words. The two of them exchanged a shared glance.

Ren couldn't help but feel a mix of excitement and nervousness. He knew it was Crazy but he was ready to embrace the challenge, if he keeps running what’s the use of trying to be stronger?

Ren picked up his sword, Lisa still sleeping peacefully on his shoulder and turned to Luna. "Can you give me a minute”

She tilted her head.

*

the evolved ogre’s heavy footsteps reverberated through the rainy forest.

Its snarls echoed as it searched for its prey. Ren’s heart raced, knowing the danger he was about to face.

The rain had soaked the ground and created puddles everywhere.

Ren noticed a larger puddle forming near him due to the slightly sloping terrain. It seemed like the perfect opportunity.

As the ogre drew closer, its fiery presence emanating through the rain, Ren whispered a few incantations under his breath.

Lightning sparked in his hands, coalescing into a concentrated bolt of energy With a swift motion, he hurled the bolt into the puddle, electrifying the water.

The evolved ogre, sensing movement, lunged toward the source of the electric discharge.

Its massive frame collided with the electrified puddle, causing an explosive surge of lightning that jolted through the ogre’s body.

The creature’s roars filled the air as its muscles tensed uncontrollably from the shock.

As Ren backs away, Lisa jumps in and kicks the ogre in the face making it lose its balance.

As it falls on the ground, Ren swiftly threw another bolt of lightning to the ground shocking the ogre. “We’ll continuously do the same thing until it’s dead”

I lost chapter 9 twice, I had to rewrite it 3 times and it would originally have Hecate in it but I decided to Not include her for now. Note to self start writing in Google docs.
