The crackling fire snapped and hissed at the wooden shelves and paper books. Leni stared out the window, ignoring the story in front of her. Her hands were occupied by the untouched milk tea. Leni couldn’t help but stare out the window. It's an amazing tango of wind and snow. As the wind guides its treasure backwards, the snow embraces the guidance. Soon, the couple shuffle off stage and a new couple perform.

And again, the wind guides, and the snow embraces.

Leni sighed. She couldn’t help but remember the last time she felt secure.

And love. Love was always absent in her life.

“Arf!… Arf!'' Leni's memories shattered as she tried spotting the dog. She freaked out feeling her leg being nudged by something..She was relieved as  she spotted a corgi with a novel in its mouth. Leni patted the dog as she saw the cover; it had three people on it. Leni sighed, “Sorry doggo, I'm a very simple person, if I see three people on a romance novel cover, I skip it.” Leni continued patting the corgi as it dropped the novel on her feet. “Arf!”

Leni wanted to sigh, but soon a pair of hands picked the corgi up, disturbing her therapeutic petting session. A new face came into her view as a man picked up the novel on her feet.

“Sorry, she is normally super shy,” he said flustered. “My name is Dave,” he said with a joyful smile.

“And my name is Leni,” she smiled, embracing the sincere smile.
