‘Why can’t I move my body’ 

“ What a good dream, ugh but why does it have to be a school day I just want to play more of Space Fighters 5 Championship Edition .” said the mysterious voice who had taken over her body

‘ Who are you, Why did you take over my body, Why does the term Starlight Lovers sound so familiar, and Why are you not ANSWERING ME.’ I exclaimed in anger and desperation not knowing what was going on and who had taken over my body.

“ Kira it’s time to WAKE up,”  Yelled a mature woman's voice

“ Alright be down in a sec Mom” Yelled back Kira

‘ Wait my name’s not Kira but Heather and my Mom doesn’t sound like that, but then why does she have the same voice as I do, and why am I stuck inside her’ I thought as fear only grew. 

When Kira got up from her bed I was able to see her room it had a bunch of unusual objects like a talking box that didn’t seem to be powered by magic, a similar box was on her nightstand but much smaller, there was even an object on her ceiling that appeared to make the room cooler maybe it can do that due to wind magic I wondered. The weirdest part when I looked through her room was that it all seemed oddly familiar from the sky-blue walls to all the weird items in it. As Kira was getting dressed I finally got a good look at her from her auburn curly hair, freckled face, and slender body, and the more I looked the more a sense of familiarity arose within me.

‘Just who is Kira and why does she feel so familiar to me’

While Kira was walking out of her room  I saw a wall of pictures that adorn her walls of her family and friends

“ I can’t wait to talk to everyone today about Space Fighters 5 Championship Edition,” said Kira happily

‘ Ugh my head hurts whenever I look at them why does it feel like I am forgetting so much’

‘Please Kira look away from the pictures I can’t take much more before I pass out’ I cried out in agony to no avail as no one could hear me. Luckily Kira looked away from the pictures before the pain became too much for me.

As Kira arrived in the dining room I noticed a girl who looks to be around 12 old at their dining table she had black hair that was done in a ponytail, green eyes, and a button nose, and when she saw Kira she gave the sweetest smile I’ve ever seen.

“ Good Morning Sis,” said the little girl happily

“ Mornin’ Maya what’s breakfast today,” yawned Kira still not fully awake

“ Mom made Bacon n’ Eggs,” said Maya as she continued to gorge on her food happily.

“ Maya what have I told you about eating slowly, and Kira look at how haggard you look were you up all night again playing that game,” said Kira’s Mom sternly

“ Sorry Mom, but the food was so good I couldn’t help myself,” said Maya with downcast eyes while it looked like she was about to cry

“ It’s alright I just don’t want you to make yourself choke by doing that,” said Kira’s Mom caringly

“ Okay Mom I’ll eat slowly from now on,” said Maya  with a look of determination in her eyes

“ Thank you, Maya, now Kira if you look haggard again tomorrow I’ll confiscate your video games for a month,” said Kira Mom’s with a look of anger in her eyes

“ NOOOOOOO anything, but that,” said Kira desperately trying not to have her lovely games taken away from her

“ Yeah Mom you can’t do that I love Playing Starlight Lovers with Sis,” said Maya in an aggrieved tone not wanting to not be able to play games with her sis for a month.

“  Kira I’ve given you plenty of warnings by now, and I’m only doing this for your own good so make sure to go to bed on time got it,” said Kira’s mom sternly

“Got it,” said Kira dejectedly that she might lose her games if she didn’t sleep at a decent time, which means she won’t be able to get the true ending on Starlight Lovers tonight.

“ Alright now that is settled let’s eat,” said Kira’s Mom.

Throughout the meal, I could sense a warmth from these three that I haven’t ever felt in my life.

‘Why do you get this love when all I get from my family is hate’ thought Heather dejected

After the meal was done Kira’s Mom said  “ Kira you best hurry out the door  or else you’ll miss the bus.”

“ Shit lost track of time,” said Kira as she rushed to packed to her bag and head out the door but as she was running out the door

“KIRA LANGUAGE,” Kira’s Mom said furiously that her daughter would use such language in front of her 12-year-old sister.

“ Mom what does shit mean,” Maya said faking innocence

“ Sorry, Mom got to go,” Said  Kira rushing out of the house to avoid a stern lecture from her Mom

‘ Hmph if I said such vulgar words Mistress Tanya’s maids would be sure to punish me not a simple lecture why isn’t that normal’ thought Heather upset and curious as to why Kira would only receive a lecture.
