SubmersiblePro: Nice song bro!

Mr.Titanic: That song was deep!

i♥Carly: Wow! This kid has such a nice voice!

Freddie_Lover: Well, he can sing but Freddie looks better.

SchneiderGuy: Am I the only one who didn't know that Carly and Sam could sing?!!?

TopG: Wow! Impressive!

CoMicBoy: Can't wait for the next song!

TheWatcher: Where did you find this kid?

TickleMeElmo: Honestly, I did not expect that.

ForeverPessimist: No way he wrote that song!!!!!

Nihilist: My thoughts exactly! Don't steal other people's songs dude! Karma's gonna get you for that!!!

Linus: Haters gonna hate..

AsmonSilver: That is pure talent right there!

PewPewPew: Couldn't agree more!

icantfindmydad: Let's go! Give us the second song already!!!

BilboSwaggins: Hmm… that song was decent at best.

OB_GYN_kenobi: NEXT SONG! NEXT SONG! NEXT SONG! NEXT SONG!

wong-hole: If his second song is good as well, then I'll believe that he has talent.

"That song was incredible! I never imagined this kid had such talent," Spencer exclaimed, completely absorbed in the live performance of Lucas Grey. He was currently watching iCarly on the spare computer in the living room, even though the iCarly set was just upstairs. He didn't typically go there when he wasn't needed.

As Carly's brother, he had faithfully followed every single episode of iCarly, never missing a single airing, and tonight's episode had piqued his curiosity more than any previous ones. While he had assumed Lucas would deliver an "okay" performance, he never anticipated that the kid could unleash such a phenomenal song right from the start.

His gaze instinctively shifted towards the live chat, where he discovered that the majority of viewers shared his enthusiasm, expressing their awe and admiration for Lucas' song and singing abilities. However, amidst the positive feedback, he couldn't help but notice a few individuals who seemed skeptical, doubting Lucas' ability to have created the song himself and instead resorting to hateful comments. Taking a moment to gather his thoughts, Spencer decided to contribute his own comment, wholeheartedly showing his support for Lucas and his incredible talent.

BigBrotherShay: That song was great, Lucas! Can't wait for the second song!

"Wow, Lucas really has an incredible talent for singing. It's safe to say he didn't inherit that from our father," Lexie remarked jokingly, a hint of admiration in her voice.

"Yeah, with that voice, he'll definitely go places," Derek added, his tone slightly hesitant. He couldn't shake off the lingering idea that Lucas had crafted that song specifically about the complicated dynamics between him and Meredith. It left Derek pondering: Did Lucas intend to encourage him to persist in pursuing Meredith, despite her ending their relationship for the second time?

Suddenly, the office door swung open, revealing a frustrated Dr. Yang. Lexie couldn't help but feel a surge of apprehension as Cristina's gaze briefly fell upon her, causing her nerves to prickle.

"Excuse me, Dr. Shepherd. Can I borrow my intern, Dr. Grey for a moment?" Dr. Yang requested, her tone conveying a sense of urgency.

Seated side by side, Derek discreetly glanced at Lexie, he immediately noticed her reluctance to leave the room. It was apparent that she held a strong desire to witness Lucas's second performance. And truth be told, Derek shared her interest; he was genuinely intrigued by Lucas's next song. He sought to uncover whether Lucas was subtly conveying something meaningful through his music.

"Look, Dr. Yang. If this is about those charts, then they can wait a few more minutes. Dr. Grey and I are busy watching Lucas's performance," Derek responded.

"Lucas?", Cristina questioned. Clearly clueless that Lucas was singing live in an online webshow.

Observing Cristina's confusion, Derek swiftly extended an invitation. "You are welcome to join us," he offered, motioning towards a vacant seat on the side of the room.

Cristina's gaze lingered on Lexie and the charts as she weighed her choices, carefully considering the circumstances.

After a moment of contemplation, she reached a conclusion: Lexie currently held the advantage. Being a resident, Cristina couldn't easily remove Lexie from Derek's side, especially with his attending position. Accepting this reality, Cristina made her move. She took the vacant seat and placed it beside Derek. With anticipation in her eyes, she readied herself to immerse in Lucas's performance.

iCarly Set:

"That was awesome!" Sam exclaimed, clicking a button on her remote, which triggered clapping sound effects.

"Indeed it was, Sam," Carly stated with a smile on her face.

"Now, Mr. Grey, what's your next song about?" Sam asked, once again transforming her remote into a metaphorical microphone.

"My second song, as I mentioned earlier, still revolves around the theme of love. However, this time it delves into the complexities of a relationship that teeters on the edge of ending. While one partner fervently tries to resist its demise. It's a reflection of two individuals who share a profound bond, transcending the label of a mere couple but as soulmates. The essence of the song is the notion that if you truly desire to salvage the connection, you must find the courage to express your feelings openly," Lucas replied.

"Okay, we can't wait," Sam commented eagerly. She exchanged a quick glance with Carly, as if they shared an unspoken cue, and then they both exclaimed in unison:

"For a second time around, please give a warm welcome to Lucas Grey!"

"Darn it! He's really sending me a message," Derek thought to himself, his attention fully captured by the heartfelt lyrics of Lucas's second song. If only Meredith had expressed her desire for him, he wouldn't have minded waiting as long as it took for her to heal. It wouldn't have mattered if Meredith needed time to recover from the tumultuous events of the past year—the loss of her mother, her painful suicide attempt, even Thatcher's unjust anger. Derek would have stood by her side, unwavering, as long as she uttered those words of wanting him in her life.

Meanwhile, in New York, a 12-year-old girl was filled with awe at the talent and songs produced by Lucas Grey. "I need to tweet about this!" she exclaimed, utterly captivated by the blond boy on her screen. She wanted the entire world to know about such a genius.

Tears streamed down Meredith's face, causing both Alex and Izzie to be taken aback.

"Dude, are you okay?" Alex asked, his voice filled with concern and bewilderment.

"This... this stupid song," Meredith exclaimed, her voice choked with emotion as she desperately tried to wipe away the tears streaming down her face. The lyrics of the latest song struck a deep chord within her. She loved Derek with every fiber of her being, yet it was she who had made the painful decision to end their relationship. Even though they still found solace in each other's arms, she couldn't bear the thought of Derek eventually moving on and finding love in another woman's embrace. The conflicting emotions overwhelmed her, leaving her heartbroken and tormented by her own choices.
