Elise looked at her hands. 

There were marks on them. 

'They'll disappear in time', Yuki said.

'Will they?', Elise asked. 

'Yes. It's a test', Yuki answered. 

'Did I pass?'.

'Yes, because you fell. If you moved upward, the alien force would attack you. There's honor in falling after a space battle. To fight those who are weak, or nervous, means a lot of power from the cosmos shall come to you. Of course, deep down, other forces will arrive. But the darkness of the space-time continuum isn't breached'. 

'Has it been breached before?'.

'Yes, a century ago. But you don't need to feel too bad about such matters. Besides, I am a Trainer'.

'Can I be trained?'.

'Yes, Elise. In time', Yuki smiled.
