For eternal darkness, I felt warmth.

I knew that I was dead considering the size of the rock that fell and had already accepted my fate.

I just didn't know that I would feel so calm and relaxed in this empty space.

I could probably stay in this empty space for decades but a pulling force immediately pulled me from this comfort.

'gasp!'

I felt air rush into my lungs as I took long deep breaths to get my blood pumping.

I began to pat myself all over as I looked for any signs of injuries.

Finding nothing, I slowly began to calm down and began to look around.

I was in a white room that had a large big table at the middle.

The table had a translucent bluish image of a globe floating above it.

On the side, a simple door could be seen. Of course, I instantly went for the door but when I opened it I was shocked.

Space... that was the best I could describe of what I was seeing.

Planets of various kinds could be seend. Blue, red, pink... you name it, it was probably there.

Cloudy streaks of smokes that were a mosh podge of colors could be seen lazily drifting from one part to the another.

I looked down at the edge of the door and was still presented with the endless void known as space.

"This is a dream... actually, no scratch that. This is probably real. Never knew a place like this existed."

Looking around again, I couldn't help but think that I was in purgatory.

Then again, if I was in purgatory, I would have to do some type of penance in order to enter heaven.

Something tells me that's not the case though.

I then walked up to the table and found something surprising.

"Please create a username and password... what the."

I couldn't help but look around but nothing seemed amiss.

I then looked for a mouse and keyboard. Nothing was showing until I had placed my hand on the table.

A wispy keyboard appeared as well as a mousepad.

I then typed in a username and password which was soon accepted.

'Welcome new user. Please hold while necessary patches are installed in the system. While waiting, please refer to the beginner guide for managing the central hub.'

"... uh huh... ok......."

I had no idea what this thing was talking about. Beginner guide to managing the central hub?

Yeah, I'm pretty sure I didn't have that.

Suddenly, a screen popped up in front of me.

Low and behold, an electronic copy of the so called beginner guide could be seen.

Not only that, I couldn't help but stare at the screen in front of me.

"It's as if I was playing an mmorpg."

Inventory, skills, status... the screen had everything that you needed in a lot of role playing games.

I then saw what appeared to be a mailbox with a red dot on it.

Of course, immediately opened it and a letter popped out.

'Goddess Fortuna requests an invitation to the central hub. Confirm or deny?'

My eyes grew wide open. Goddess... Fortuna...

Is this some kind of prank... is what I would say if it weren't for the fact that I was in a completely different dimension.

Considering that I had questions, I should probably invite her in... not.

What sort of person would immediately let a stranger into their space the first round.

Not me, that's for sure.

"Ding!"

A new mail popped up.

I opened it again and sure enough, the senders name showed Fortuna.

... Let's ignore it for now.

Several dings began to pop up. I got annoyed so I immediately silenced it.

I then began looking through the beginner guide.

I couldn't even tell how long it took me to read through it. Minutes, hours, days... I completely lost track of time as I was immersed in the book.

The only thing that brought me out was the soft and gentle 'update complete.'

I stared at the hologram and soon enough, a picture of a globe could be seen.

"Rather, instead of globe. It's actually called Terra Vetus."

I stared at the structure in front of me. Apparently, I was what you called the sole creator.

Long story short, the previous creator had made the universe.

From there, the creator had simply watched as the world it created expanded upon itself and continously evolved without intervention.

Then, the one true god created this world which was basically a gathering of divine beings.

All beings of mythological influences gathered here.

You could say it was a utopia built for them.

The creator then kept making more things. After that, well... it wasn't mentioned.

The guidebook didn't tell me anything more about the previous creator.

It only told me that I was given a chance to replace the previous admin and have full access to the central hub.

It was here that the previous admin had created his works.

And now, I had full rights to his power and system. If that were the case... I should be strong enough to face anything, right?

I opened up my messages again. Several unread mail popped into existence.

I ignored all of it and went directly to the invitation.

'Confirmed, goddess Fortuna has been invited to the central hub.'
