The canoe was near Camp Crystal Lake. 

Ducks, and brown colored logs, were in the cold water. 

Alice was in the middle of the nefarious lake. 

And, as she slept, a monster burst out of the abyss...and she screamed.

Alice awoke. 

She saw Sheriff Earl Tierney, Doctor Payson, and Nurse Pierson. 

'Sedate her, Nurse', the Doctor said. 

'No. Please, no. They're all dead', Alice said. 

'I'm afraid so, Ms. Hardy. Steve, Brenda, Bill, Jack, Marcie, Annie, and Ned. And Mrs. Pamela Sue Voorhees. It was self-defense'. Alice nodded. 

'The boy, Jason. Is he dead too?'.

'Jason'.

'The one who attacked me. The one who attempted to drag me underneath the cold lake'.

'Ma'am, we didn't find any boy', the Sheriff said.

Alice moved forward on her hospital bed.

'Then...he's still there'.

Camp Crystal Lake was silent.

By Midnight, no one was there anymore.
