Meng Lin felt the strength coursing through her veins and she couldn't help but smile at the breakthrough.
She had originally thought it would take quite a while before she made another breakthrough but it seemed she just lacked the energy needed.
Looking through her system menu she focused on the Gacha wheel, she currently has 6 tickets that she hadn’t used after receiving them as rewards.
Meng Lin had wanted to wait and use them when she got four more but the close encounter earlier erased all thoughts of that.
Defeating the talisman masters wasn’t as easy as she made it seem, she had to utilize the 5th layer of the Black Tortoise Essence Art just to break free from the chains.
Creating a cloud of dust and debris was deliberate on her part since she didn’t want them to cower and use their strongest talismans right after seeing her form.
She had little qi left at the time so she launched a lightning quick strike with her snake tail towards the closest three talisman masters, but they didn’t die.
What shocked her even more was that even after sacrificing 9 of her nails imbued with brute qi, most of them were still alive.
It was shocking because her water qi was way stronger than before, reaching the variant high concentration so when she transformed, all of her body was filled with such energy, that added with the brute qi made for a deadly combo, and yet most of them only suffered minor injuries.
If it wasn’t because of their uncoordination then Meng Lin felt that the combined might of 7 remaining talisman masters were enough to pose a threat.
Nevertheless, she learned something in that battle, the power of fear, they were afraid of her which made things easier.
Just like how a thousand Qi Gathering Realm Cultivators would pose a significant threat to a single Foundation Establishment Cultivator but no Qi gathering realm cultivator would want to participate in such a battle because of fear of dying first.
Meng Lin shook her head and stopped contemplating as she summoned the Gacha wheel.

Booze? Not exactly what Meng Lin was hoping for, but as the item materialized before her she couldn’t help but raise an eyebrow at the dense amount of qi contained in the bag.
Curiously opening the bag Meng Lin was greeted with two system panels.

Meng Lin didn't know what to think of this unexpected windfall, but she decided to check it out later and turned her attention back to the wheel.
She was slightly surprised that no other items replaced the superior Booze Gift bag, after thinking about it she realized that it had to be because it was a bag holding other rewards just like the system package.
She decided to spin once more as she hoped to obtain more items on the gacha wheel, but her luck seemed to have run out as she only received the High-Grade System Packs after spinning them two more times.
She now has 3 system packs as well as the high-grade booze, she still has two more tickets and she didn’t stop as she intended on using them, flicking her fingers once more she spun the wheel, hoping for one of the other items.
And as the wheel came to a stop Meng Lin couldn’t help but laugh at her chances.

Storing them away without even looking at their names Meng Lin spun the last ticket, lowering her expectations.
But to her surprise, the wheel stopped on an unexpected item, drawing her attention to the shimmering, rare jades that she had not paid much attention to before.

She opened her mouth in amazement, hardly able to believe her small luck, and immediately reached out to claim her newly acquired artifact.
However, rather than materializing before her, a panel appeared.

Meng Lin was surprised at a whole new area unlocking within the market and so decided to check it out, opening the market panel she saw another panel next to it called the immortal jades market.
As Meng Lin accessed the newly unlocked area of the system market, she was taken aback by the vast number of items available.
However, the prices listed below most of them were jaw-dropping. Even the lowest-priced item had a price tag of hundreds of Immortal Jades. Meng Lin silently thanked her luck for the nine Immortal Jades she had just won from the Gacha wheel. Without them, she wouldn't even have been able to access this part of the market.
She took a deep breath before shaking her head, most items within this market were way out of her league and she couldn't make sense of them. She scrolled through the items, her eyes scanning over various spiritual herbs, cultivation manuals, ancient talismans, and even rare treasures like dragon scales and phoenix feathers.
Her eyes landed on a particular item - a cultivation manual named "Heavenly Water Scripture".

She can't use the immortal jades within the immortal jades market but she can use them within the normal system market, even when she first received the system there were items that she couldn't buy because of not having any immortal jades.
She has been ignoring those items but now she can finally check out what items she can buy within the system market.
