Opening his eyes to a dark environment, the little boss groaned as signs of pain reached his body, his head throbbed and his vision blurred and he couldn’t help but gasp in shock.

“Wha” he uttered confused, only after a few seconds did he notice the position he was in, he was sitting down against a something and his arms were tied behind his back, his eyes were blurry and he felt sore all over his body.

“What is this” he asked as he couldn’t understand how he got here, he looked around the cave but everything was dark in his blurry vision.

Xin Quo, Wu Dou, Mu Lee where are you, what’s going on” He yelled demanding an answer as his thoughts could only go to those three for the position that he found himself in.

“Finally awake” a heavy scrapping voice answered him as he heard a tapping noise coming from a few feets away.

Suddenly dim light shined down from above as the little boss finally recognized where he was.

He was inside a cavern and looking over to the direction of the voice he saw the blurry scene of a gray robed figure seated on a chair with their fingers tapping at the armrest of the chair producing a tapping noise.

“Your men are dead, if you don’t want to die then I expect you to answer my questions” the figure said as threatening aura came from their body, it was clear that they were not playing around and it sent shivers down the little boss’s spine, he was being threatened.

With his body shaking in fear, the little boss accepted the facts “Who are you?, what do you want” he asked, hoping that see if they had a feeble heart.

And yet he received no answer as the only thing he received was the tapping on the armrest that had not stopped even now, the figure spoke once more with a ruthless tone in their voice.

“I ask the questions here, if you say anything else other than the answers then I’ll kill you”

‘Kill me’ the little boss repeated in his mind as he swallowed saliva, he felt fear and anger coursing through his vain, how dare someone threaten him, he looked at the figure with fury as this was his first time being threatened like this.

He didn’t know who this person was but he vowed to torture them to the outmost when he gets his hand on them.

“Ok” he responded while holding back the thoughts that were being thrown around in his head, for now he would act submissive, since he was curious about this person.

“What was your objective coming to the Orchid Spring Mountain” the voice of the figure sounded once again, this time asking a question that confused the little boss.

‘What does he mean, everyone knows why our organization do that, could it be that he doesn’t know that or does he just want to see if I would answer wrongly’ the little boss thought to just answer correctly on the off chance that he was being tested.

“I was tasked to pick up the Orchid Spring flowers” he replied looking for a reaction from the gray robes figure.

The figure tapped in the armrest for a few seconds before asking another question “Then why did you bring along those three women”

‘Three women’ the little boss repeated before remembering about them.

“ oh you mean the three toys” he said with a dry laugh.

“Three toys” the gray figure repeated his words as the tapping on the armrest stopped.

The little boss opened his eyes and suddenly came to a realization, maybe this was a test from his second brother, it had to be, that would be the only reason that all this would make sense, because he can’t just go from soundly sleeping in his tent to waking up in this dim room instantly.

He smiled slightly as he thought to himself, why didn’t he see it before, of course his second brother would try to test him with such a thing.

His second brother was probably angry with him for not returning back with the Visonary Lamp so he did this to teach him a lesson.

He let out a small laugh before turning his forcus back to the gray figure “don’t worry they didn’t get in the way of my objective, I have already collected the flowers” he said with a tinge of boastfulness in his voice.

His voice rang loud and reverberated in the quiet cave room, he looked at the gray figure waiting for a response but he received a different kind of response from the one he was expecting.

Pressure suddenly decended inside the cave and the little boss felt massive weight upon his shoulders, with difficulty he took a deep breath before looking at the seated figure radiating aura.

“What are you doing, do you want to die” he asked as he generally felt confusion, even if this was a test from his second brother, he wouldn’t allow for things to go this far.

The seated figure finally got up from their seat and walked up to him before looking down towards him.

Feeling a little insulted the little boss raised his head to finally look at the person who had threatened him before.

Their face was completely covered with a gold mask that had no holes even for the eyes and nose, they had long silky hair flowing over their shoulder and he could faintly smell a pleasant aroma coming from this person.

“You” he said as he reached something that felt like dread, his second brother doesn’t have anyone like this in his men and he was sure that there were no foundation establishment female cultivator in the organization.

Remembering their earlier conversations he was about to speak up before a hand suddenly grasped his head.

“I told you to not say anything other than the answers”

A cold voice was heard from behind the mask as the hand grasped his head tighter before bringing him face to face.
