He had returned from the alternate Earth, but there were still many questions swirling in his mind. How did these abilities even work? What were my limitations? And why did his status window show zero points in my Magic Stat?

Inspecting his Status Window, Thomas adjusted his glasses and ran a hand through his tousled black hair. "Frost Orb," he muttered, testing the words on his lips. It still felt unreal, as if he were living in a fantastical dream. He couldn't help but smile, his eyes filled with anticipation.

Turning away from the mirror, Thomas walked over to his computer desk. He tapped his fingers on the surface, contemplating the status points he had awakened within himself. “Five points.”

It was a small number, yet it held immense possibilities. Without hesitation, he allocated all five points to his Magic Stat, the surging sensation of mana ran through his veins Thomas felt a surge of strength. He quickly changed into more comfortable clothes slipping on a hoodie and grabbing his backpack. The nearby park to him offered the perfect place for his experimentation.

As Thomas reached the park, he scanned the area for a spot secluded from prying eyes. He found a clearing, devoid of bystanders, and made his way towards it.

Alone in the park, he took a deep breath, preparing himself for what lay ahead.

"Frost Orb," Thomas called out, his voice filled with a mix of excitement and embarrassment. In the palm of his hand, a small orb of frost materialized, shimmering with an icy brilliance. With each passing second, the orb grew in intensity until it shot towards a nearby tree, encasing it in a delicate frozen shell.

The sheer power of the skill startled Thomas, causing him to stagger backward and lose his balance. He landed on the ground with a thud, his heart pounding in his chest. It worked! Thomas shouted while laughing. The implications of his newfound abilities left him astounded..

Gathering himself, Thomas reached out to his status window, eager to learn how many Mana Points he had used. The realization struck him that using the Frost Orb skill had consumed three mana points. It was a revelation that sparked both caution and excitement within him.

A smile tugged at the corners of his lips as he grasped the significance of his mana points. By investing five status points in his Magic Stat, he had gained fifteen mana points in return. This meant he could use the Frost Orb skill four more times.

Considering the limitations of his power, Thomas made a calculated decision. He would only use the skill two more times, using the chance to observe and record it. He wanted to comprehend its strength fully, before he purchased any other skills in the future.

After the final display of his newfound skill, Thomas made his way home, his mind buzzing with thoughts and plans. As he walked, he pondered how the Frost Orb Skill Book held compared to other skills and how much it could sell for.

Concerned heavily over how much money he had left over having spent a significant portion of his savings on the skill books, he knew he needed to find a way to replenish his funds.

Auctioning the Frost Orb Skill Book online seemed like the most viable option.

Arriving at his apartment, Thomas wasted no time. He snapped a picture of the book, and swiftly posted it for auction. Setting the starting bid at ten thousand dollars, he wondered if anyone would be willing to invest such a substantial amount.

To further entice potential buyers, Thomas uploaded a video of himself utilizing the Frost Orb skill. Masked and wearing a hat to conceal his identity, he ensured that his face remained hidden from prying eyes. Satisfied with his efforts, he finally allowed himself to rest, hopeful for the possibilities that it would sell quickly.

As he settled into bed, Thomas's mind buzzed with a mixture of excitement and uncertainty. He couldn't help but wonder what the future held for him.
