When thinking about the universe, what exactly comes to mind? 

Is it the swirling masses of kaleidoscopic galaxies or maybe nebulas? 

Is it the mysterious black hole capable of devouring all states of matter without restraint? 

Is it the beautiful glitters of the star constellations in the vast skies? Just not to be mistaken, this isn't all about the Wisdom Path Venerable. 

Quasars, entropy, creation and destruction of stars, antimatter, 𝘀𝗽𝗮𝗰𝗲𝘁𝗶𝗺𝗲… There are just many things that come to mind when talking about a broad subject like the universe. 

All that aside, what is exactly the 𝗨𝗻𝗶𝘃𝗲𝗿𝘀𝗲? What is 𝗥𝗲𝗮𝗹𝗶𝘁𝘆? 

The universe encompassed the whole of existence from the smallest subatomic particles to the cosmic galactic wonders and its uncountable celestial bodies. It was infinite and always in a state of unperceived constant expansion. 

Reality was more sophisticated - more complex - as the universe was just its physical manifestation. It encompassed what lay within the universe and beyond; from the emotional spectrum, the intangible space and time, macrocosms, and our own insignificant existences. 

Reality and the Universe can practically be referred to as information. They are part of the information that we, humans, can read about and memorize but still can't fully comprehend its entirety due to existing physical and mental limitations. 

The very 𝗳𝗮𝗯𝗿𝗶𝗰 𝗼𝗳 𝗿𝗲𝗮𝗹𝗶𝘁𝘆 is a piece of information that we can't have access to. How can we understand something beyond the domain of human cognition? 

How can we understand the information encoded in reality? There was only one answer - 𝗧𝗵𝗿𝗼𝘂𝗴𝗵 𝗛𝗲𝗮𝘃𝗲𝗻-𝗱𝗲𝗳𝘆𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗺𝗲𝗮𝗻𝘀, 𝗺𝗼𝗿𝗲 𝘀𝗽𝗲𝗰𝗶𝗳𝗶𝗰𝗮𝗹𝗹𝘆, 𝗴𝗼𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗮𝗴𝗮𝗶𝗻𝘀𝘁 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗹𝗮𝘄𝘀 𝗼𝗳 𝗰𝗮𝘂𝘀𝗮𝗹𝗶𝘁𝘆!

This was simply seizing an infinitesimal part of the 𝗚𝗿𝗲𝗮𝘁 𝗗𝗮𝗼 without even understanding it at the grand level. 

And the individual, Zhao Wei, had unintentionally done just that. 

Evolution. Zhao Wei's [𝗚𝗼𝗱 𝗘𝘆𝗲 𝗩𝗮𝗿𝗶𝗮𝗻𝘁] was going through a cycle of evolution. 

Even though his consciousness was being submerged by an 𝗶𝗻𝗳𝗶𝗻𝗶𝘁𝗲 𝗱𝗮𝗿𝗸𝗻𝗲𝘀𝘀, he could still feel the indescribable pain as if his soul and mind were being minced and rewritten into something much more grander and splendorous. 

Zhao Wei wasn't growing stronger, he felt like he was being tortured. 

Even when he was half-conscious, he instinctively tugged at the hairs on his temple in a hopeless attempt to mitigate the unimaginable pain. His white teeth incessantly cluttered against each other like those of a resident of the mental asylum, his jaws clenching and unclenching in odd fashion. 

His actions proved futile and his pain seemed to even increase as if to mock him. 

If that wasn't enough, Zhao Wei unconsciously went for his eyes. This pair of eyes was the source of his nightmarish pain. 

They were putting him through an infinite cycle of suffering. He thought he understood pain and embraced it but he had solely been mistaken. 

He was wrong. His pain resistance was simply laughable and his steely will could also bend! 

Zhao Wei decided to do the unthinkable to, at least, alleviate the suffering. He was in his most vulnerable state where all irrationalities would run amok inside his breaking mind. 

CHA! 

In a fit of desperation and illimitable anguish, Zhao Wei violently tore his two eyeballs from their sockets in one swift movement. Rivulets of blood, brimming with vigor and vitality, silently dripped down his cheeks in irregular streams. 

His mouth opened and closed in succession. The mighty scream that was supposed to ensue did not occur. It was soundless. He couldn't scream as if he had already screamed all his life and his voice, forever lost. 

He couldn't cry. 

He couldn't do anything except experience this hellish abyss of self-torture. 

Zhao Wei finally gained consciousness after gorging his eyes out but even that didn't help. 

He was previously in a world of 𝗶𝗻𝗳𝗶𝗻𝗶𝘁𝗲 𝗱𝗮𝗿𝗸𝗻𝗲𝘀𝘀 but now, he was in a world of radiance. 

The situation was ironic, as his eyes were no longer present, leaving only hollowed sockets dripping with red blood and tissues

Zhao Wei could now see everything. Literally everything.

The sudden influx of information nearly made his already breaking soul and mind cross the final hurdle and shatter completely! 

As more and more information about his surroundings made its way into his slowly stabilizing mind, the pain also lessened. 

Zhao Wei didn't understand what was happening as the strings of information inside his mind were extremely chaotic and jumbled up. It was simply a mess with no order and coherence. 

“Why can I see without my eyes? And why are my initial vision-related abilities more powerful? It's as if these meaty eyeballs have been inconsequential!” The ‘eyeless Zhao Wei’ spoke in wonder as he gazed down at the two bloodied eyeballs in both of his hands. 

When Zhao Wei tightly clenched his hands around those eyeballs and decisively popped them into a paste, he didn't feel any regrets. 

Anyway, It was then that his body’s unnatural regenerative power kicked in and his eyes gradually began to regrow.

Zhao Wei furrowed his brows together and the current him looked quite horrifying like a being straight out of a horror film or canonically like Alluka Zoldyck. 

‘It’s a strange feeling being able to subconsciously feel my tissues regrowing and mending together.’ Zhao Wei mused. 

Zhao Wei had been seated in a lotus position throughout the whole process, even now when his eyeballs were about to be completely healed. 

Finally, Zhao Wei could be seen with his regenerated eyes currently shut closed. 

Zhao Wei tried to open them but they felt surprisingly heavy as if an irresistible force was preventing him from opening something that shouldn't be opened. 

It was as if the simple action of him opening his eyes was a taboo; something that went against the interest of the principles of Heaven and reality itself. 

Zhao Wei didn't panic, finding the situation interesting. It was a test for him to surmount the insurmountable. 

Did he have the guts and will to defy the heavens and reality imposed on him? 

Did he have it in him to pry open the eyes that went against the 𝗶𝗻𝘁𝗿𝗶𝗰𝗮𝘁𝗲 𝗹𝗮𝘄𝘀 𝗼𝗳 𝗰𝗮𝘂𝘀𝗮𝗹𝗶𝘁𝘆?

If it was a test then Zhao Wei couldn't be more incensed to demolish it. 

‘When have I been afraid of tests? Bring it on!’ He amped his confidence and determination. 

His eyes were going to open no matter what. 

Zhao Wei struggled and the struggle between him and the eye muscles escalated to a war of attrition that took several hours. 

It was a mentally demanding task but he didn't falter. 

Eventually, the resistance began to dwindle and Zhao Wei strenuously urged one of his eyelids to open. 

‘Am I trying to open an eye or Mjølnir?’ Zhao Wei wondered incredulously. 

And then it happened, Zhao Wei managed to open the stubborn eyelid and what was seen beneath was a deep silver that seemed to encompass all the colors of the universe! 

In front of his deep silver eye, all kaleidoscopic colors lost meaning and the very fabric of reality itself became like an open book for him to read, comprehend, and decode into analyzable information. 

“Now the finisher…” Zhao Wei pursed his lips, a serious expression settling on his transcendent face. 

He forced the other eye to open. 

DU DU! 

A terrifying pulse reverberated all over the room when both of his eyes were fully opened. 

And then, an invisible ripple emanated from them, spreading throughout the whole universe like wildfire in a forest! 

For a moment, the temporal forces of the universe stopped! 

Space froze! 

The symphony of destiny playing in the background paused! 

And an unknown message was forcibly sent into the fabric of the universe! 

All divine entities from the 𝗔𝗻𝗰𝗶𝗲𝗻𝘁 𝗗𝗲𝘀𝗼𝗹𝗮𝘁𝗲 𝗥𝗲𝗮𝗹𝗺 𝗼𝗳 𝗚𝗼𝗱𝘀, terrifying beasts of chaos and eventually, every living existence in the Fan Universe, understood one thing! 

A dreadful, taboo existence had woken up! 

And with his awakening, came irrevocable changes that were soon going to capsize the established laws of the world. 

A new era was nigh! 

Only the truly divine and the truly powerful god kings,

 gods and ancient possessors of the Eight Great God Eyes understood better than anyone!
