Part 2

It's dawn and the day of the Disciplinary Board has finally arrived, early on Mary is very anxious and seems quite irritated, she's back in the Guild meeting room with the three girls, who haven't signed their confession yet along with Kenji and then Luan arrives, when she hears the girls whispering something and laughing, Mary turns to them slapping the table and says:

Poww

"What's so funny? Is there a clown here?

Everyone is startled by Mary's slap on the table, Luan just looks away, he's scared of Mary sometimes, Kenji can't even lift his head to look, so startled is he, he fixes his glasses and remains silent, the girls stop laughing immediately and remain silent. Luan asks Mary to sit down, he opens a bottle of water and gives it to her to drink, then whispers to Mary:

"Stay calm, there are only a few hours left now, I'll take over from here."

Luan gets up from the table, picks up the case file, pulls out a chair, turns it upside down and sits down opposite the three girls, who stare at him.

She picks up a clock on the meeting table and marks 20 minutes, the clock starts ticking and he puts it in front of them and says:

"I'm going to give you two options, and 20 minutes to make up your minds."

The girls actually look a little scared now, they stay silent as Luan speaks:

"First Option, to admit what you've done, Second Option, to admit that you're really sorry for the damage you've caused, apart from the three main accusations, there are others in this folder." He looks inside the folder, and makes a face as if there are many others."

He places the folder on the table and looks at them, they tense up as time is running out, Luan continues.

"We have a punishment, but I'm waiting for you, if you take the blame, but if you don't the consequences will be greater, for me you'd be expelled, but it's not up to me. "

Girl C decides to retort:

"If I'm expelled, I'll go to another school, my father will sort it out."

Luan looks at Girl C with a smile and replies:

"You can even switch to 1, 2 or even 10 schools, your past will haunt you no matter what, at least I'll make sure everyone knows about it, honestly if you were at my old school, you wouldn't last a day there, the students are really fierce, and I'm not much different, but at this school the rules are different so we have to adapt to them, well if you want I can be your enemy, what do you think?" Luan then points to the clock on the table, showing that there are now only 15 minutes left.

Girls A and B are already determined to admit their mistakes, while girl C continues to be difficult and arrogant:

"You two are giving up too easily, you don't know who my father is, he's a very important MP in Rivercity, he controls a large part of this city."

Luan looks debauched, he doesn't seem the least bit surprised, let alone intimidated, he continues:

"Wow, so we have a future gangster as an heiress, congratulations."

"I can mark the option that you're a coward who doesn't take responsibility for what you do, and you're hiding behind your daddy, right? What a disappointment for those who voted for this MP, with a daughter who is abusive and who practices violence at school, are the voters going to like that? Then they say that demons are evil, are they really or does this human project here seem to be worse?"

Mary looks at Luan, and gives him a "hold back" look, but she already knows Luan, he has his own ways, the other two girls confirm that they're going to take the blame, the other one starts to think again after what Luan told her, it's quite clear that he's going to go all out to be her enemy.

"Well, time's running out, we've got 2 assuming they're going to confess, and the other one who chose the option of me making her life hell, correct? "

Girl C decides to go back on what she said:

"No,...I ....decided to assume my guilt as well."

Luan, satisfied with his answer, ends the countdown on the clock and picks up the folder signed by the three of them:

"Oh, you've gone back, at last you've made the right choice."

Luan picks up the incident folder, walks to the exit door of the meeting room and gives his final warning:

"Come on, the Board will be starting soon, and one last warning for you three, if I catch you committing any kind of abuse, I'll make sure to take you for a ride to hell, but I warn you, it's a bit hot there!"

Luan goes up to the Director's office, hands the case file to Director Luke Becker, and exchanges a few words with him about the case:

"Well I got a confession that they're going to take the blame, I hope they really do, they don't seem that sorry, especially this girl here, the MP's daughter, she must think she owns the town or something."

Luke picks up Girl C's record card and says:

"Ah, I know who it is, Wow, he really made it as a Member of Parliament."

"Thanks Luan, but don't expect too severe a punishment today, I don't trust this Rector very much, he'll probably give us a bit of trouble."

The Rector in charge of the Rivercity Education Council finally arrives, he and a few other members, he passes Luan, Mary and Kenji, and greets everyone and especially Mary:

"Good morning everyone, I finally saw you today Mary, I haven't seen you at home for days."

Mary looks at him uncomfortably and says:

"I've been a bit busy, hello Uncle."

Her uncle then enters the boardroom, and joins the others, the coordinator, the vice-principal, Grandpa Han is also present, this room is literally going to be on fire today.

Luan knows that Mary is an orphan because he read it in her school records, but he never dared to go into it, waiting for the right time when Mary wanted to talk about it. Kenji looks at Luan's surprised face and asks:

"Uncle?!"

 Mary nods and says:

"Yes, I'm an orphan, so I've lived with my aunt and uncle since I was little."

Mary is silent for a moment, something doesn't seem right, Mary crosses her arms and says:

"Well I hope he's honest, that would help with today's Disciplinary Board, and we have a good outcome."

Luan and Kenji agree, they go back to the classroom as the three of them are from the same class, while they are on their way to the classroom Luan looks at Mary thinking about what to say to Mary, so he ends up saying:

"When you want and need to talk about something, let me know."

Mary looks at Luan and nods, "Okay."
