“Your eyes,” Shura remarked.

Vivi`s eyes were red. She had a smile on her face. Kaya's eyes were also glowing. They were usually yellow, however the shade was different. The flame marks on her body disappeared. There was a yellow glow on her body. Kaya smiled.

As Vivi stood there, her body enveloped in flickering black flames. There was an aura of mysterious power surrounding her. The dark flames danced around her shoulders, swirling ominously, while her hand also had the black flames.

“I had hit you both directly,” Shura remarked. He furrowed his brow. He couldn't comprehend how his attacks had seemingly been shrugged off by these girls. They both got hit by direct attacks.

Vivi's smile widened, as she locked eyes with Shura. Beside her, Kaya mirrored her friend's smile.

As Shura stood there, his disbelief giving way to a sense of resignation, he couldn't help but let out a weary sigh. “You both have devil fruits,” he muttered. His lips broke a smile. He wiped the blood from his lip.

“It does not matter,” Shura declared. His gaze hardened as he locked eyes with Vivi and Kaya.”I will take you both down,” he stated. With a swift movement, Shura extended his arm, presenting his javelin to both Vivi and Kaya.

“My mantra will see you both coming,” Shura warned. He knew he could predict their attacks and they had shown all moves.

Vivi smiled grew wider. The flames on her body grew bigger. “Dark Necrotic Nova,” Vivi said as she released a burst of necrotic energy. The wave travelled towards and hit Shura.

As beads of sweat trickled down Shura's brow, a cold shiver ran down his spine, sending a jolt of apprehension through his entire being. This power, he thought. “Was that it?” Shura replied.

Kaya moved towards Shura. “Angel Smash,” Kaya said as she gathered energy in her fist. She fused her energy in her fist and punched Shura in his chest. The fist connected.

The force of the blow sent Shura hurling through the air, his body briefly suspended in the air. As he crashed to the ground with a resounding thud, a pained groan escaped his lips. Blood left his mouth.

Shura spat the crimson stream out, as he struggled to regain his bearings, his chest heaving with the exertion of battle. Each breath felt like a laborious effort. He quickly got up and looked at Kaya.

Vivi aimed her Gero Gero gun. She looked at Shura who had just got up. The black flames engulfed her gun. She pressed the trigger. A frog shaped bullet with small flames coming out from it left the barrel and went towards Shura. Shura, who was looking at Kaya, heard a sound coming. He looked and saw a bullet with flames.

The bullet impacted Shura and exploded. The explosion again knocked him off his feet. He fell to the ground and went tumbling down on the ground. His body was covered in burn marks. There was black smoke. Shura groaned loudly. He got hit again. He thought his mantra was not working.

Shura thought there was something wrong. He got back weakly. His body had taken a beating. The attacks were powerful. He spat out blood. He used the javelin to support himself as he looked at the two girls. His smile was gone. He looked with anger.

“I had enough of you two,” Shura stated.

Kaya flew towards Shura. She punched him in the gut. She followed it with a kick to the side. Shura stumbled down. He quickly grabbed his javelin and tried to stab Kaya with it however he missed. Kaya dodged it. Shura could not predict her movements. Kaya jumped back. Her mouth started to glow. “Angel HyperBeam,” Kaya said as she shot a golden light beam from her mouth.

“Inferno Strike,” Shura said he increased the intensity of the heat at the tip of the javelin, as he thrusted it forward. It created a blast of flames which went towards the beam. They both collided. However the beam was stronger as it pushed the flames back. Shura increased the power to max and the two attacks exploded, creating an explosion.

He looked as the smoke cloud covered his surroundings. It was pitch black for a second. He thrusted his javelin onto the ground. “This will be my ultimate attack,” Shura shouted. “Heat Nova Blast,” Shura added as he increased the flame dial to 110%. The dial reached critical mass and then released a massive explosion of heat and flames, incinerating everything in the vicinity.

As flames and scorching heat erupted from the ground, a relentless inferno swept across the landscape, leaving destruction in its wake. The very earth trembled beneath the onslaught, its once green and lush surface now charred and desolate. Trees were uprooted, their gnarled roots torn asunder, while nearby grasses wilted and crumbled to ash. The towering flames engulfed the lower branches of the ancient trees, their once lush foliage now consumed by the relentless blaze. In the midst of the chaos, Shura stood amidst the devastation, a twisted grin curling his lips as he surveyed the aftermath of his attack.

In that moment, amidst the roaring flames and billowing smoke, Shura felt a surge of satisfaction wash over him. He knew that at least one of the girls was burnt alive consumed by the merciless flames, while the other likely suffered from grave injuries.

Shura reveled in the chaos he had wrought. He thought the other priest should show him more respect. He thought Enel, his God, would be proud of him.

As the acrid smoke began to dissipate, Shura's gaze swept over the scorched landscape. It was all destroyed, except the path of land he was standing on. He smiled and looked around until he saw the two girls. They both looked fine. Their eyes both glowed. “How are you both alive?” he said in confusion. He thought this was his ultimate attack.

Vivi aimed her gun. The black flames engulfed the Gero Gero gun. “Nero Bullet,” Vivi said as he fired from her Gero Gero gun a black frog shaped bullet. Its eyes on the bullet had flames as it travelled towards Shura.

At the same time, Kaya started to gather her white coloured energy at the palm of her hand. It started to take the shape of a large white arrow. “Angel Heaven`s Arrow,” Kaya said as she hurled it at high speed towards Shura.

Shura saw this coming but it was too late. He got hit by the bullet. Then a second later he got hit by the arrow. A deafening roar shattered the silence, the sheer force of the explosion reverberating through the air like a thunderclap, sending shockwaves rippling across the burnt landscape. There was a small mushroom cloud that billowed into the sky.

In the midst of the chaos, Shura's agonised scream could be heard. As the shockwave slammed into him with merciless force, he was sent hurtling through the air, his body twisting and contorting in the tumultuous maelstrom.

With a sickening thud, Shura crashed to the ground, his once formidable frame now broken and battered. His javelin slipped from his grasp, clattering to the earth as he lay sprawled. A gaping hole marred his chest. As consciousness slipped away, Shura's eyes grew dim, the flicker of life fading from his gaze. He saw two figures, their eyes red and yellow.

Meanwhile, Marianne had run into the forest. She jumped over the large tree branches. She saw the large purple bird chasing her. The bird unleashed a torrent of searing flames from its gaping maw, the inferno hurtling toward Marianne with terrifying speed. Reacting with lightning reflexes, Marianne leaped to the side, narrowly avoiding the deadly onslaught. She saw an opening and ran towards it.

Marianne got to the opening. Fuza, the giant bird followed. Marianne looked into the large tree branches. She noticed leaves falling from the large branches. She looked and saw two people in white robes. She had seen them going towards Vivi and Kaya and thought they would be just a distraction for them.

The bird approached her. She dipped her paintbrush into the yellow and green paint and mixed them together. At that moment the two men jumped from the trees. “A little girl with paint,” the first man said.

“Are you going to paint a picture?” the second man taunted.

Marianne looked at them and threw the paint at Fuza. “Yellow-Green of Friendship," Marianne said. The paint touched Fuza. The two men laughed.

“Was that meant to hurt us or Fuza?” the first man asked. He had a smile on his face.

Fuza stood looking at Marianne. He expanded his wings and made a loud noise. The two men walked past Fuza with a grin on their faces. Fuza gazed down upon the two men who stood before it. Fuza roared. The two men looked back as Fuza fixed them with a penetrating stare, its gaze brimming with an intensity that sent shivers down their spines.

“You are on our side,” the second man remarked.

“It's Priest Shura, a loyal bird,” the first man said.

The men exchanged nervous glances but they knew it was Fuza. They looked at Marianne. Fuza made a loud noise again. The men looked back again. Fuza's massive beak parted, unleashing a torrent of flames that engulfed the men in an inferno of searing heat. Agonised screams echoed through the forest as they fell to the ground.

Marianne's smile radiated warmth as she approached Fuza. She closed the distance between them as her hand outstretched. Fuza responded in kind as he leaned into her touch. His eyes, once glimmered with a gentleness as Marianne's hand caressed his sleek feathers.

A soft chuckle escaped Marianne's lips. “Good boy,” she murmured affectionately, her words carrying a warmth. She looked at the two bodies on the floor. They were not going to hurt them now. Suddenly she heard a loud explosion. It came from the direction she had left. “Let's go, we need to help my crew,” Marianne ordered. Fuza nodded. Marianne got on top of Fuza`s back. Fuza then took off. He flew into the air and raced towards the explosion. There was a small mushroom explosion.

She got to the scene where everyone was scorched. It was all destroyed, all the grass was gone. She saw Shura on the ground and could see a hole in his chest. His body was still. Vivi and Kaya stood next to him. She could see some black fire on Vivi`s back. “Kaya, Vivi are you okay?” Marianne asked.

The flames on Viv`s back were gone, her eyes returned to normal. She turned around “Marianne, we are fine,” Vivi replied. Kaya`s eyes glowed went back to normal.

“Yeah, we are,” Kaya added.

“You both beat him,” Marianne observed.

“Looks like it,” Kaya replied.Vivi nodded.Vivi looked around and saw the land torched. She thought it was an intense battle. Shura was strong.

Kaya was happy that Shura was not allowed to hurt anymore people. He attacked her best friend and was happy to get revenge for him.

“We should go now,” Kaya commenced.

“Yes, we should,” Vivi agreed. Kaya picked up the javelin on the ground. They looked at the river and saw the Miss Love Duck.

Marianne nodded. She pointed to the Miss Love Duck and Fuza went towards it. Vivi ran and jumped into the river. She had the Shooters and glided through the river. Kaya took to the sky with the javelin and flew towards the Miss Love Duck.
