Who ever the fucker who said that the electric chair was a humane way of execution should be granted a seat on that very throne of death, 'humane way of execution' is such a preposterous notion, to attempt to claim that the barbarous act of forcefully terminating the life of another human is anything but murder is nothing but self serving bullshit that the governmental institutes feed to the weakminded cattle they lord over to prevent them from having to stress about what they truly think about it.

While I contemplated such things in a trance like state I slowly became aware of the fact that i was still "alive" as my consciousness started to clear up and i realised that i was just that, a consciousness.

I could think and i was aware of my own existence, but nothing else. I could not see nor hear nor feel any of my surroundings, i couldn't feel the electicity rampaging through my body, the air brushing past my scorched skin nor the dirt that should wrap me within it's motherly embrace.

I couldn't feel my limbs, my torso nor even my head. Panic slowly started to creep up on me as i felt like i was drowning deeper and deeper under the crushing weight of the unending darkness that surrounded me, if i could breath i'm sure that i would be hyperventilating right now.

Even though i thought that i had conquered my emotions after decades of living on the knife's edge.

Will i be staying here forever? Is this hell or purgatory? Or is floating within nothingness the fate of all living beings once they perish?

Just then a voice boomed from every direction and even from inside me.

A purple rectangular panel appeared floating infront of me, the black words inscribed on it read:
