[Part 1 : Devil Fruit User]

A young man by the name of Kin awoke within a new world, lying within a forest filled with dozens of trees split into different sections. Kin had long dark-blue hair, golden eyes dressed in a black sleeveless shirt with blue pants. “Huh…Where am I?” He slowly looked around, finding himself standing in the crowded forest filled with a Yarukiman Mangrove, massive turquoise striped trees that have extremely long roots.

Kin slowly walked along the path of the forest when a man’s voice cried out: “Hey! Stop right there!” The man turned around to see a group of marines running straight for him. Kin stood motionless as the four marine officers surrounded him from all sides. “I-I don’t know what you creeps want from me, but I assume it’s nothing good!” The officers charged right for him, only for the blue-haired pirate to knock each opponent out with a swift combo of strikes.

He watched as the officers hit the ground motionless. “That was strange, five seconds in this world and already I’m getting randomly attacked” [Part 1: Devil Fruit User]

“That was strange, five seconds in this world and already I’m getting randomly attacked.” With a cautious glance around, Kin continued on his path, hoping to find some answers to his situation.

As he walked deeper into the forest, Kin's senses were inundated by the vibrant colors and unique flora surrounding him. The yarukiman mangrove truly lived up to its reputation as a place of wonder and awe. The sound of laughter and conversations drifted through the air, hinting at the presence of others.

Turning a corner, Kin suddenly found himself at the edge of the mangrove forest, where a breathtaking sight greeted his eyes. Before him lay the bustling and lively Sabaody Park, an amusement park like no other. Colorful attractions, lively carnival games, and a diverse array of people from different regions gathered in this vibrant hub of activity.

Kin's gaze was drawn to the towering Ferris wheel at the heart of the park, its bright lights illuminating the surroundings. It was a sight to behold, a testament to the ingenuity and creativity of the inhabitants of this world.

As he continued to explore the park, Kin couldn't help but notice the diverse crowd of visitors, creating a lively and harmonious atmosphere.

Amidst the excitement, Kin's attention was caught by a bulletin board near a food stall. Various posters and announcements were pinned to the board, detailing events, challenges, and activities taking place within the park. One particular poster caught his eye – a fighting tournament inviting participants from across the multiverse.

Eager to test his skills and perhaps find some answers, Kin decided to enter the tournament. As he signed up, he couldn't help but feel a sense of anticipation and excitement. This was his chance to prove himself, to forge new connections, and to uncover the mysteries of this extraordinary world. A blue pop up screen appeared on the bulletin board like an RPG:

[Tournament Challenge Tier]

• TierⅠ – Novice (Recommend Lvl.1)

• TierⅡ- Intermediate (Recommend Lvl.10)

• Tier Ⅲ – Advanced (Recommend Lvl.50)

• Tier Ⅳ- Expert (Recommend Lvl.100)

“I’d be foolish to attempt anything other than novice for now” He tapped the novice difficulty and waited…after a few seconds, Kin was transported to an arena just outside Sabaody Park, it was a large stone arena surrounded by the large striped trees with the park entrance just off in the distance.

After a brief moment, a single marine officer spawned before him in a flash of blue code. “Just one? Heh, this might be easier than I thought” The marine advanced his opponent wielding a cutlass. Kin prepared himself as his assailant attempted to strike him down with one strike. The pirate couldn’t help but laugh as he evaded the incoming strike, sending a fierce blow to the back of the officer’s head knocking him out.

“Sigh, novice or not, that was too simple he may as well have been a training dummy” The marine burst into wisps of blue code before more opponents began to manifest in front of him, this time, there were four officers standing before him like when he 1st arrived in Sabaody Park.

“Sigh, good grief…at least give me a challenge” Just as he prepared to take them down as easily as last time, one of the officers pulled out a pistol, firing it right for the shocked pirate. Kin attempted to evade the incoming bullet, only to be struck in the leg, causing him to hit the floor of the arena with blood dripping from his leg. “D-damn it! Just what kind of tournament is this!?”

The marines grew closer with the armed assailant attempting to fire off another shot. The wounded pirate abruptly jumped to his feet just as the shot was fired. Given an opening, he dashed straight for the gunmen, striking him square in the abdomen knocking the air out of him before face planting on the hard stone arena. The other offers attempted to attack with their blades, only to be launched off the arena by Kin’s fierce strength. “Sigh, why do the marines hire such weaklings? If I can defeat them at level 1, then they surely must be the weakest enemies in this universe”

[LEVEL 2 ACHIEVED]

Placing his hand on his waist he waited for his next target. That’s when the space around him seemed…off. In an instant, Law appeared before him wearing his black hood over his signature white cap as he wielded his kikoku in one hand, while holding some strange tortoise fruit in the other.

“I assume you’re my final opponent?” With a serious expression the surgeon of death spoke: Trafalgar…D…Water Law” Without warning the fruit vanished from the pirate’s grasp as Law turned his attention on Kin.

Kin looked above Law’s head to see he was a lvl. 5. (Alright, he’s a little higher level than me, but hopefully not enough to make much of a difference) He told himself). Kin clinched his fists, a sense of unease washing over him as he prepared to face Trafalgar D. Water Law. The atmosphere around them grew tense, Kin could sense the formidable strength radiating from the skilled pirate. He took a deep breath, focusing his energy and readying himself for the upcoming battle.

Law's hooded figure stood before him, his piercing gaze fixed on Kin. The surgeon of death remained silent, his aura exuding a sense of authority and control. Kin's heart raced, his mind racing to come up with a strategy.

As the battle began, Kin moved swiftly, advancing head-on for the surgeon of death. Just as he attempted to strike the combatant, he felt the space around him shift, causing him to miss just mere inches from his target.

In a last minute effort to land a blow on the pirate, Kin sent a round house kick right for Law’s face, only for him to block it with his kkatana. It began to set in that he couldn’t keep up with Law's movements, his actions deliberate and controlled. Despite his efforts, Kin found himself struggling to match Law's pace and precision.

With a flick of Law's hand, the air around them seemed to warp and distort. Kin's eyes widened in surprise, feeling his body suddenly immobilized, held in place by an unseen force. He gritted his teeth, trying to break free from Law's grasp, but it was as if his very movements were being manipulated by the heart pirate.

"You're… not bad," Law finally spoke, his voice calm and measured. "But you lack experience. I suggest you yield before you get hurt" Kin's muscles tensed as he continued to resist the invisible constraints, his determination unwavering. "I won't…back down" He managed to utter, his voice strained.

Law's lips curled into a faint, almost imperceptible smile beneath his hood. With a casual wave of his hand, the pressure around Kin released, allowing him to move once more. The young pirate staggered slightly, his breathing heavy as he regained his footing.

"Very well" Law conceded. "Let's continue, then" The battle resumed with Kin giving his all to keep up with Law's movements. Yet, no matter how hard he tried, Kin found himself outmaneuvered and overpowered at every turn. Law's attacks were precise and controlled, his mastery over his Devil Fruit abilities evident in every motion.

After a series of deft maneuvers, Law finally struck Kin with his mere palm, sending the poor novice flying off the arena boundaries , hitting the dirt. Kin's body ached in pain as he struggled to get up. Law instantly warped to the defeated warrior’s side standing over him with his blade still resting on his shoulder.

"You're… incredible" Kin admitted, his voice filled with a blend of respect and exhaustion. "I've never faced someone like you before" Law's expression softened slightly, his gaze intrigued. "You have potential…But potential alone won't win you battles. Remember that" He extended a hand, offering to help the younger pirate to his feet. Kin hesitated for a moment before accepting the gesture, pulling himself up with Law's assistance.

“Heh, you were close, but sadly we’re no match for my precision. Lucky for you, I unfortunately have no need for this” Holding out his bare hand, the strange fruit warped into his grasp as he held it out to the fellow pirate. “Here, you can have it, I already have a devil fruit of my own as you just witnessed”

Kin slowly reached out Taking the turquoise colored fruit. “What’s a…devil fruit?” He asked in both confusion and curiosity. Law's eyes widened in surprise as he processed Kin's question. "You don't know what a Devil Fruit is!?" he asked, His surprise was evident in his tone, his usual composed demeanor momentarily slipping.

Kin shook his head, a sheepish expression crossing his face. "I'm new to this world, I just woke up here not too long ago. I haven't had a chance to learn about much yet"

Law's surprise quickly changed to an intrigued expression. "I see," he said, his voice softer now. "Well, in that case, allow me to enlighten you. Devil Fruits are mysterious and unique fruits that grant the consumer special abilities, but at a great cost. Once you consume a Devil Fruit, you gain a specific power, but you also lose the ability to swim...becoming vulnerable to drowning. It's a significant decision to make"

Kin examined the fruit in his hand, his gaze contemplative. "So, this fruit could give me special powers, but I'd have to give up the ability to swim?"

Law nodded. "Exactly. The type of power you gain varies depending on the specific Devil Fruit. They come in three categories: Paramecia, Zoan, and Logia. Paramecia users develop superhuman abilities, Zoan users can transform into animals or gain animal traits, and Logia users can become and control an element or substance. It's a double-edged sword, as the powers can be both a blessing and a curse."

Kin looked back at Law, a mixture of curiosity and uncertainty in his eyes. "And this one… what does it do?"

Law smirked, his composure returning. "That, my friend, is for you to discover. Eating a Devil Fruit is a life-altering decision. It could change the course of your journey. Whether you choose to eat it now or save it for later is up to you"

Kin weighed the fruit in his hand, his mind racing with thoughts of the possibilities. Slowly bringing the devil fruit to his lips, Kin took a bite of it. An abrupt bitter taste overwhelmed him, causing Kin to drop the fruit onto the floor. “T-that didn’t taste so go” He groaned whipping his mouth. As the taste of the Devil Fruit lingered on his tongue, his vision seemed to blur for a moment, feeling a surge of power coursing through his veins. However, as quickly as it came, the sensation subsided, leaving Kin feeling a mix of confusion and anticipation.

Law watched the scene unfold with a knowing smile. "Congratulations" His voice carrying a note of amusement. "You've just taken your first step into a world of extraordinary abilities. That fruit you just consumed was a Devil Fruit, and it has granted you a unique power."

Kin stared at Law, his heart pounding with a mix of excitement and uncertainty. "Wha-what kind of power did I get?"

Law's eyes sparkled with curiosity. "Ah, that's the part you'll need to discover on your own. Each Devil Fruit bestows a specific ability, and it's up to you to unlock and harness it. Be warned though, these powers can be both incredible and challenging to control"

He picked up the discarded fruit from the ground and pocketed it. "Thank you, Law. I appreciate your help" Law nodded. "No problem. Just remember, mastering your newfound power will take time and practice. Law offered a small smile. "No need to thank me, just remember…this world is full of surprises and dangers, Keep your wits about you"

[NEW CHARACTER UNLOCKED!]

• Trafalgar D Water Law

Without warning a blue menu popped up in front of him:

     MENU

• Characters

• Skills

• Equipment

• Team

• Social

• Inventory

• Settings

(Seems I can access a menu similar to an RPG, something like this could come in handy) After going through the menu, he added Law to his party as well as making him his mentor. As his mentor, there was a number within a sphere next to his name. Currently it was at (0) meaning Kin’s mentor level to Law was 0. He knew he’d have to either duel his teacher or fight along side him to raise it’s level...

CHAPTER 1 Beginning Of A Long Adventure

The vibrant atmosphere of Sabaody Park quickly became tense as a sense of unease brushed through the park's visitors. They turned their attention toward the source of the disturbance, dozens of marine officers emerged, forming a perimeter around the park's entrance.

Kin and Law exchanged a knowing glance, both realizing the gravity of the situation. It was clear that the marines' arrival wasn't a coincidence and had come for the pirates.

"Looks like we've got company," Law muttered, his tone serious. "It's safe to assume they're not here for a friendly visit"

Kin nodded in agreement, his hands instinctively clenching into fists. "Guess we're about to find out what's going on" His eyes narrowed as he assessed the approaching marines, noticing their angered expressions.

Without a word, the marines fanned out, surrounding Kin and Law. Their leader, a stern-faced officer, stepped forward raising a hand, signaling for the others to hold their positions.

"Listen up, pirates!" the marine officer declared, his voice commanding. "We received info that there were pirates on this island, though I'm surprised you're here...Trafalgar Law"

Law's brow furrowed beneath his hood, his gaze unwavering. "Oh really? Then you marines must not be looking that hard" he replied calmly.

The officer's expression remained stern. "Tssk, enough of this! Men...open fire!"

Kin exchanged a quick glance with Law, his mind racing. Law's lips curled into a half-smile, a glint of amusement in his eyes. "You're quite confident, aren't you? But I'll have you know, we're not so easily subdued. Room!"

His ally watched as Law manifested a room around the battlefield. Many of the officers began to panic, confused on what was happening. That's when their leader shouted: "Stop whimpering like sniveling insects and fire damn it!" Law's mastery over his Devil Fruit ability, the "Ope Ope no Mi," was showcased as the marines' bullets were halted mid-air just mere inches from their targets, suspended in place by Law's power.

With a subtle flick of his fingers, Law manipulated the trajectory of the bullets, sending them hurtling back towards their origin. The marines could only watch as the bullets struck them with precision, causing chaos and confusion within their ranks. The air was filled with the sound of gunshots, followed by the cries of the wounded and fallen.

The officer who had been barking orders remained unscathed, his eyes wide with shock as he witnessed his own men being defeated by their own ammunition. He quickly realized the gravity of the situation, knowing that Law was not to be taken lightly.

As the chaos subsided, the echoes of gunfire faded. Law lowered his hand, allowing the fallen marines to hit the ground. The officer stood alone surrounded by pools of blood amidst the aftermath. His face a mask of frustration and fear.

"You're quite the handful, Trafalgar Law," the officer growled, his voice emanating with bitterness. "But don't think this changes anything. You'll still pay for your crimes"

Law's gaze remained steady, his confidence unshaken. "If you want to pursue this further, then by all means, try. But I assure you, it won't end well for you or your men"

The officer clenched his fists, his anger boiling over. "We'll see about that." With a single strike from his blade the marine captain collapsed in a gush of blood. Kin let out a breath he didn't realize he was holding. "That was...intense"

Law gave a slight smirk. "Welcome to the life of a pirate. There's never a dull moment"

Kin laughed weakly, his heart still racing from the encounter. "I'm starting to realize that"

Law turned his gaze to Kin, his expression serious once again. "This won't be the last time we encounter the marines. If you're going to continue your journey in this world, you'll need to be prepared for more challenges"

Kin nodded, a determined gleam in his eyes. "I'm not planning on backing down, I've got a lot to learn, and it seems like you could be a valuable teacher"

Law's gaze softened, his usual air of aloofness giving way to a hint of approval. "Very well. I'll help you train and master your abilities. But remember, you're ultimately responsible for your own path" With that the pair walked out of Sabaody park making their way to the edge of the island, Kin spotted a floating blue sphere showing a holographic picture of a ship.

Slowly approaching the sphere, he placed his hand on it, causing a blue shop screen to appear:

[Ships & Cargo]

• Ships

• Ship upgrades

Swiping through the store with his index finger, he saw that like most things in the world, items in the virtual store costs berries. Luckily the only ship currently available was a default ship that was free since it was a small plain ship. Tapping the default option, a small wooden ship manifested out of blue code before the pair. The ship had plain white sails with only the captain quarters and a room for the 1st mate.

“There, we at least have a ship now. Obviously I’d prefer a much bigger ship, but we only have about 1200 berries at the moment which wouldn’t get us much unless we save up from defeating stronger opponents. Law sighed stepping onto the ship responding: “I’ll tolerate this ship for now, but I’d prefer my submarine the Polar Tang eventually”

As the small wooden ship gently rocked on the water, Kin and Law set sail from Sabaody Archipelago, embarking on a journey that would lead them to new allies, challenges, and discoveries. The vast sea stretched before them, a canvas of endless possibilities.

Kin entered the captain's quarters of the newly acquired ship, a sense of excitement and uncertainty washing over him. As he stepped inside, the dimly lit room revealed a virtual map projected onto a table. The map displayed the vast expanse of the sea, with silhouettes of various islands and locations, each representing a potential destination.

Running his fingers over the map, Kin's gaze settled on the island of water 7, currently the only accessible location. His curiosity piqued, he tapped on the island, and the map responded with a gentle glow before fading away, leaving only a blue portal-like gateway hovering above the table.

"This is it," Kin murmured to himself. He turned to Law, who had followed him into the cabin. "Water 7... It looks like that's our next stop"

Law nodded in agreement. The two pirates exchanged a determined look, both knowing that this next step in their journey was bound to be challenging., he glanced back at Law. "You ready for this?" Law smirked responding: "Obviously, Let's see what Water 7 has in store for us" That’s when a notification popped up in front of Kin:

[BOUNTIES]

• Most regions will have bounties available. Defeating a bounty will give you a large amount of berries depending on the wanted level of the specific target.

Closing the menu, they walked back onto the deck to see their ship sailing itself towards their destination for water 7. Law sat on a barrel with his blade resting beside him while Kin stood beside him and just looked out into the sea, admiring the beauty of the sunlight sparkling over the water…

After sailing across the sea for a few hours, both turned to see water 7 coming into view. As Kin and Law sailed closer to Water 7, the island's distinct features began to come into focus. The sight of the bustling city built atop a network of interconnected waterways was truly a marvel. The buildings rose gracefully, resembling a maze of architectural wonders, their vibrant colors contrasting against the deep blue sea.

As their ship approached the island's harbor, Kin couldn't help but feel a mix of excitement and anticipation. This was the first step in exploring the vast world of One Piece, a world that held endless adventures, mysteries, and challenges.

They docked ship in the bustling harbor, Kin and Law disembarked onto the wooden pier. The air was filled with the sounds of vendors peddling their wares, shipwrights working on their latest projects, and the general hustle and bustle of a thriving port city.

Law's eyes scanned the surroundings with a practiced gaze, his demeanor calm and composed. "Water 7 is known for its shipbuilding prowess," he explained to Kin. "It's also a hub for pirates and travelers from all over the Grand Line. We might find information, opportunities, or even potential allies here."

Kin nodded, taking in the information. "So, what's our plan?" Law's lips curled into a half-smile. "First, we gather information. We need to know what's happening in the area and what bounties might be available" He glanced around. "It's also a good opportunity to stock up on supplies and maybe even recruit new crew members"

As they navigated the busy streets, Kin couldn't help but be amazed by the diversity of people and cultures present on the island. The streets were filled with pirates, merchants, craftsmen, and adventurers of all kinds.

After making their way to a nearby tavern, Law and Kin settled at a table in a corner. The tavern was alive with laughter, chatter, and the clinking of glasses. Kin glanced around, realizing that this was the perfect place to gather information.

Law ordered a mug of bear as well as his personal favorite: grilled fish.

“Ya, glad to finally have something to eat!” Kin sat beside his mentor as the heart pirate happily ate his food, meanwhile Kin felt a sense of unease, he looked around the room thinking someone was watching him. Turning around he saw the bartender starring at him, he was a tall built man in a black suit with horns on his head.

The man’s gaze caused him to feel uneasy but tried his best to brush it off. “Once you finish your fish, we should explore the city and see if we can find anything that might help us, especially if we can find someone to upgrade our ship, we won’t get far on such a basic ship. Law quickly finished his meal, setting the plate and mug on the bar before grabbing his long blade. “Heh, I'd still prefer we find my submarine, it would certainly be more efficient. But, whatever...i’m ready to go, let’s hurry and try to find someone before it gets to late. Heh, maybe we might find some targets to knock around on the way”

Kin and Law set out to explore Water 7 further. The atmosphere of the island transformed as day shifted into evening. The streets were now illuminated by the soft glow of lanterns hanging outside shops and buildings.

As they wandered through the labyrinthine streets, Kin couldn't shake the feeling that someone was still watching them. The sensation weighed on him, making him periodically glance over his shoulder. Law noticed his unease and raised an eyebrow.

"Something bothering you?" Law asked, his voice casual but attentive.

Kin hesitated before responding. "I don't know, it's probably just my imagination, but I can't shake the feeling that someone's been watching us"

Law's expression remained impassive as he observed their surroundings. "Trust your instincts. It's not uncommon for pirates to attract attention, whether friend or foe."

Just as Kin was about to brush it off as paranoia, his gaze was drawn back to the bartender with the horns. The man's eyes remained locked on Kin, his expression inscrutable. Law followed Kin's gaze and studied the bartender for a moment before turning his attention back to Kin.

"What a creep, I suggest we keep an eye on him," Law stated calmly. "For now, let's focus on our objectives" They continued walking, making their way through the vibrant streets of Water 7. The city seemed to come alive at night, with street performers, musicians, and entertainers captivating the attention of passersby. Kin's unease gradually subsided as the distractions of the city drew his attention away from the watchful eyes he'd sensed.

After a while, they found themselves in a more industrial district of Water 7, where warehouses and workshops lined the streets. It was here that they stumbled upon a distinctive establishment—a shipyard with a sign that read "Franky Family Shipwrights."

"This might be our chance to upgrade our ship" Law remarked, gesturing towards the shipyard. "Let's see if they can provide any assistance"

As they entered the shipyard, Kin and Law were greeted by the sounds of clanking metal, the whir of machinery, and the enthusiastic chatter of the shipwrights. The interior was a hub of activity, with workers crafting, repairing, and discussing various maritime projects.

They were met by an imposing figure, a man with bright blue hair and a massive build that seemed to defy reason. He wore a Hawaiian-style shirt, sunglasses, and a distinctive grin. It was none other than Franky, the shipwright and member of the Straw Hat Pirates.

"Yo! What brings you guys to the Franky Family Shipwrights?" Franky boomed, his voice exuding boundless energy.

Kin and Law introduced themselves, explaining their need for a ship upgrade. Franky listened intently, his sunglasses masking his expression. Once they had finished speaking, he let out a hearty laugh.

"Hahaha, you guys are pirates, huh? Well, I like your style! Pirates need a ship that can match their spirit!" Franky's enthusiasm was infectious as he clapped Kin on the back with a force that nearly sent him stumbling.

"So, you wanna upgrade your ship, right? I've got just the thing for you!" Franky declared, leading them further into the shipyard. He unveiled a towering, mechanical monstrosity that looked more like a fusion of a ship and a tank.

"This is the 'Pirate Galleon' model," Franky announced proudly. "It's got reinforced hulls, upgraded cannons, and enough firepower to make any opponent think twice. Plus, it's got style!"

Kin's eyes widened at the sight of the impressive ship. It was unlike anything he had ever seen before, a true testament to the shipwright's ingenuity.

Law examined the ship with a critical eye, nodding appreciatively. "Impressive craftsmanship. It seems like a suitable upgrade for our journey."

Franky's grin widened. "You've got a good eye, my friend! Now, I won't just hand it over, though. You guys gotta prove that you've got the spirit to wield this beast! How about a friendly duel with me? If you win, the ship's yours."

Kin exchanged a glance with Law, a spark of excitement in his eyes. "You're on, Franky! We'll prove that we've got what it takes!"

Franky's laughter reverberated through the shipyard. "That's what I like to hear! Prepare yourselves, cause I'm not holding back!"
