Thanks for reading One Roof! This is my second time (I think?) writing a proper afterword. Does anyone even read these? Oh well, it’s late at night and my brain doesn’t care. My first afterword actually came from Ganersam, which I wrote because I needed to link the second volume to the first one. Anyway, so about One Roof…
First, I would like to thank Jesus Christ for the life he gave me, allowing me to finish this novel. I also would like to thank 1mam_art for the amazing art. I would also like to thank Danish, my friend, and my sibling Jenny and my aunt Lilyana for providing valuable information about some things written in the novel.
One Roof is actually my first novel to go past 60.000 words. I think it’s a great achievement, and I’m proud of it. This novel, compared to Evening Game, is a lot harder to write. I even thought about abandoning it at the midpoint, although I’m happy I stuck through. Funnily enough, I actually wrote the first three chapters far ahead of the rest. I thought that the idea was a lot ‘heavier’ than I initially expected, so I tried writing some other ideas. The other ideas didn’t stick so here I am.
Overall, I hope you enjoy One Roof. My goal is to put a smile on my readers' faces, and if at some point I manage to accomplish that, then I’m genuinely happy. Once again, thanks for reading One Roof, I look forward to seeing you in the next novel.

I am 99% percent certain that this is the first time I have ever seen that in an afterword.
I don't have any problem with it; it just surprised me that I have never seen it when reading books by a few different Christian authors writing about the history or the church they belong to, yet you put it here.
As for the story, it was interesting, though it was definitely threatening to fall apart by the end.

Out of place book recommendation:
"Prelude to Glory" by Ron Carter
Admittedly, I do still need to work on my endings. Not the first time things began falling apart near the end. Still, thank you so much for reading until the end. I hope to see you next time.
I've got to say I really enjoyed this novel all the way through. Although I admit I didn't expect it to end so abruptly. But that might just be because I didn't want to see Simon and Emily go so soon.
Haha admittedly I'm still learning to write better endings. I kind of ran out of ideas for this one, thus the rather abrupt ending. I'm really happy to know you enjoyed it, and thank you so much for reading
Tbh, i got blindsided by the sudden timeskip and end. Might have needed another chapter to breathe. Thanks for writing
Haha sorry about that. It's just, I have a thing for 'confirming' couples ending up together (don't know why but I just like that confirmation) and probably made it a bit too 'stand out' for this one. I only wanted to add that confirmation without putting too much thought into it. Still need to fix my endings. Regardless, thank you so much for reading till the end. I hope to see you next time.
