Alex walked through a familiar silver corridor with hurried steps as he sweated and looked slightly panicked. After making his way to a door with a blue X decorated on it, he was met by Hank and the Professor.

"We have company. And not the good kind." He said as all three of them quickly made their way to the outside.

After a few minutes, they witnessed countless kids and teens crowded at the school exit, looking out into the grassy plains. As they made way for the Professor, he saw what they were all looking at. A dozen black SUVs were lined up in an organised formation as a dark-skinned man with a goatee and an eyepatch, backed by countless men in black suits, stared at them as if they were waiting for something.

Hank opened the door for the Professor as they made their way to the visitors, followed by all the students.

Meanwhile, Wukong walked in the corridor with Dave as they laughed, oblivious to what was going on outside, until Dave looked out of the window pointing at the commotion.

"What's going on? Let's go check it out." Said Dave as Wukong was thinking the same thing. They quickly ran to the exit and soon mixed into the crowd.

"Director Fury. To what do we owe the pleasure?" Said Xavier.

"I think you already know the answer to that question. But I'll humour you. We've detected and even had a few sightings of a giant pillar that kept appearing from nowhere, even reaching close to the moon, and then disappearing mysteriously into thin air. After knowing the cause of this, we've determined that it may be a threat to the human race, and therefore have come to secure it."

After a small pause, he continued. "If there's an Illian Hale in the crowd, please step out." After saying this, the students started to whisper and gasp. However, the Professor did not react to this.

Meanwhile, Illian stood in the crowd as a few people stared at him. He cursed inwardly. He knew he would enter Shield's radar at one point, but not this early.

Slowly, the crowd started to part and expose the position of Illian as he showed a face of indifference. He started to walk calmly to the bald man with the eye patch as everyone made way for him.

"We'll be taking him, Professor." Said Fury. The other students stood still in silence as they prepared for battle. They knew the Professor would reject this proposal and Shield wouldn't take it lightly.

"Take him." Everyone darted their eyes at the Professor as their heart sank. They couldn't believe that the Professor, who they trusted with their lives, was betraying one of them. Even the people who disliked Wukong in the crowd such as Pyro, Avalanche and Scott couldn't help but question the old man. Scott who stood with Anna, Lorna, Bobby, Kitty and Jean, stared at the Professor with shock in their eyes.

Before the students could say anything, Xavier implanted a memory he had taken from Scott's mind of Wukong destroying the chopper and killing the people inside, into everyone's brain as they lived it as if they were there.

Only then did they understand why the Professor was doing this. In a matter of seconds, everyone present on the grassy plain turned against Wukong.

"Illian, please. Don't make this any harder than it needs to be. These gentlemen will help you. Please, go with them." Everyone at the scene stared at Wukong with a malevolent and disdainful gaze. The same could be said with his somewhat friend and roommate, Bobby. He didn't agree with what people said about him before, however, in light of recent events, he had completely turned against him.

"Ah jeez. Well, I can't say I didn't see this coming." Said Wukong as he started to dig his staff into the ground, every move he made making the Shield agents reach for their weapons.

"Illian, we just want what's best for you…"

"No, you don't. You're just using this as an excuse to get rid of me." Said Wukong as he cut him off.

"Hey, watch your mouth, you murderer." Said Alex with a face full of contempt.

"Alex, it's ok." Said the Professor as he held him back.

"You know, you people are funny. All you talk about is how you want non-mutants to treat you equally. Yet here you are doing the same thing they do. Judgment, condescension and even rejecting me as one of you just because we aren't the same. You all act just like them. You've all become the very thing you loathe." Saying this, everyone couldn't help but think about it for a second. Was it true? Were they treating others like how they've all been treated?

Meanwhile, Lorna tightened her fists when Wukong said this. It was true. They did treat people who were different like outcasts. Ever since she came here, that was how she was treated. But the difference between her and Wukong was the fact that he had the guts to tell them all that to their face.

Wukong carried on digging his staff into the ground as it looked like he was done.

"Be that as it may, you can't leave." Said Xavier, seeing that Wukong was plotting something. In his mind, he was thinking that the troublemaker Wukong was, he would soon wreak havoc on the outside world if he left. And he wasn't completely wrong.

Wukong ignored the bald man as he continued to do whatever he was doing.

"Hey! Are you not listening?! He said stop!" Interfered Alex as veins bulged from his head.

"Oh yeah? Make me."

"I've had enough of this." Saying this, Alex opened his shirt to reveal a circular metal object, strapped to his chest.

'Yeah, nope. I'm not waiting for him to blast that crap in my face.' Thought Wukong as he swung his staff up, carrying the dirt and rocks with it as it flooded Alex's face, blinding him temporarily.

As he rubbed his eyes, trying his best to look back at his enemy, he felt a piercing pain in both his legs. Looking down, he caught a glimpse of his legs which were bent and twisted as the bones pierced the skin, the legs facing in abnormal directions.

Only then did Alex realise what was going on, and only then did the true pain of the injury dawn on him as he screamed in agony.

"Oh shut up you big baby. Where's all that big talk you've been spouting?" Taunted Wukong. He had lightly tapped both sides of his staff on the man's legs. It seemed that was all he needed to put him down.

"Alex!" A voice full of desperation and anger came from the crowd as one could see Scott with glowing red eyes as he gritted his teeth.

Taking off his glasses, a red beam rocketed toward Wukong. There was very little Wukong could do to avoid this beam. Prompting him to use one of his forbidden techniques.

"Forbidden Technique, Human Shield." As he said this, he picked up Alex's body from the ground and held it in front of him as the beam erupted on his back, creating an audible sizzling sound.

Alex let out another feral howl as the beam subsided. The overwhelming pain he had endured must have been too much for him, seeing as he had fallen unconscious.

Seeing no more use for him, Wukong tossed the injured man to his brother. But before he could hit the ground and endure what one would believe to be a painful fall for an injured person, he was caught by a man who had been absent for a while.

Peter lightly placed Alex on the ground. After he handed him off to the students, he stood as he faced Wukong.

"Here for a rematch, tin man?" Asked Wukong.

"Yes. But I'm not alone this time." After saying this, a team started to form behind Peter.

Cyclops, Gambit, Iceman, Shadowcat, Nightcrawler, Beast, Phoenix and even Rogue all stood behind Colossus as they prepared their respective weapons and abilities. Looking around, Wukong could tell that the rest of the students were willing to aid the X-Men if they needed it.

After taking a look behind him, he saw the shield agents drawing their weapons as they pointed their guns at him.

"You do realise I can wipe you guys out with literally 2 words? Yet you guys brought small guns to this fight."

"Oh, we have other tricks up our sleeve." Said Fury. At that moment, Wukong felt an electrifying pain run through his body as he seized uncontrollably, soon after, falling onto his knees.

"Well done, Agent 13." Said Fury as he looked at a boy with slick black hair and hazel eyes. Everyone looked at this kid who had been following Wukong around the school for the last few weeks. Yet they witnessed him put down the very person you would think he admired.

"Thank you, sir." Said Dave as he saluted and held a Taser in his hand.

"You can brief me on what you've learned about him. Until then, the rest of you secure the…" Before Fury could finish his sentence, he heard laughter. Looking back at the boy on his knees, he saw him with a bloodied mouth as he grinned from ear to ear.

'Did he bite his tongue so as not to fall unconscious?!' Thought Fury.

"Aw, man, this brings back bad memories. If there's anything I hate, it's a traitor."

"Agent 13, watch out!" Yelled Fury, in the next second, Wukong jumped into the air as he whispered something under his breath.

In the following moment, his staff expanded to the length and width of a car as Wukong slammed it down onto the traitor, squashing him like a bug and killing him instantly.

Everything went quiet, the sound of the slam of the staff and the crushing of the human body was all that echoed in the air as Wukong stood over a pool of blood.

"Now, who's next?"
