~Axel meets Loona for the first time~

(Axel POV)

"Hello, welcome to I.M.P or whatever. What do you want."

A voice called out to Axel, startling him. He turned towards the source, his eyes falling on a female hellhound behind a desk.

Axel's heartbeat quickened, but he pushed past his initial surprise, determined to make a strong impression. "Hey," he replied, his voice steady as he met the hellhound's gaze. "I saw the poster outside about the job, and I was wondering if I could get an interview or something." He paused, glancing at the posters on the walls before returning his focus to the hellhound.

She rolled her eyes, before pressing a button on her desk. "Blitz! Come out here!" She yelled into a microphone. A door labelled 'Blitzo office' began to rattle, before bursting open to reveal a tallish red imp in a suit.

"Yes Loony, what i-." He paused before looking at Axel. His eyes widening, before he broke into a wide grin. "Well, well, well. What do we have here?" He strolled over to Axel before holding out his hand. "Hey there! I'm Blitz. The o is silent.

What o? Axel thought, before he shook Blitz's hand. "Axel." He said, returning the smile.

"Alright! Lets get down to business." Blitz said, rubbing his hands together. "What asshole you looking to kill, huh? Maybe a cheating ex?

Axel's eyebrows shot up in surprise. "Wait, hold on. I think there's been a misunderstanding," he said, his tone shifting to confusion. "I'm not looking to get someone killed. I saw the poster about a job, and I thought you guys were hiring."

"Ohhhhhh....Well of course! " Blitz replied. "I'll be with you in 10 minutes. Just got some paperwork to get in order, and then I'll interview you. Sounds good?"

"Sure," Axel replied.

(LOONA POV)

Loona glanced over at the male hellhound, her eyes narrowing as she took in all his features.  His dark grey fur, tinged with a sense of ruggedness, immediately caught her attention. Deep purple streaks intertwined with the natural hue, lending an air of unpredictability to his overall demeanour. The patterns seemed to dance along his fur, like shadows cast by the moonlight.

This guy was different, no doubt. At first, she was annoyed at his arrival to the office. Most of the male hellhounds she encountered either brushed her off or attempted to pursue her in the most cringe-worthy ways. But he was different. He actually talked to her like a normal person, conversing like a rational being rather than a hormone-driven hound.

She noticed the way he stood. A confident, if slightly guarded, posture that hinted at a self-assured nature. His eyes, sharp and observant, held a glint of curiosity as he took in his surroundings. They were the kind of eyes that had seen their fair share of experiences.

Lost in her thoughts, Loona didn't realize that her staring had become more obvious, and the hellhound looked up from his phone. As their eyes met, her heart leaped in her chest and her cheeks flushed with embarrassment. Loona quickly averted her eyes, hoping he hadn't noticed her intense gaze.

The fuck is wrong with me? She thought, embarrassed. Who cares if he saw me staring anyway. As if I give a fuck about what he thinks. She looked back down at her phone, trying to distract herself from the awkward situation. But she couldn't help but steal more glances at him as the clock ticked by.

(TIMESKIP - 10 MINUTES)
(Axel POV)

Sweat trickled down his cheek as Axel met Blitz's gaze. So far, no words were spoken, but he couldn't help but feel nervous.

Finally, Blitz spoke.

"You experienced with killing?" His question, startled Axel momentarily.

"Y-Yes. I like to think so." Axel replied.

"You ever used a gun before?" Blitz fired another question.

"I mean, I'm no stranger to firearms." Axel said. "I've shot my fair share of handguns before."

"Ever used a knife? A sword? Maybe even nun chucks? Any form of hand to hand?" Blitz questioned further.

"I think I'm pretty handy with knives, or anything sharp for that matter." Axel replied. "If you stuck me in a knife fight, I think I could handle myself pretty well."

A raised eyebrow from Blitz prompted Axel to continue "How did you get so good at killing, then?"

"Well me and my-" Axel began, before stopping himself. Memories of his sister surfaced momentarily. Her brightening smile, her calming attitude, and her loving embrace. All things that stung at Axel's brain, like enraged hornets.

"W-Well, I grew up on the streets. Had to live all by myself. Finding food, killing, surviving. It's a miracle I'm alive, really." It wasn't the whole truth, but it was about as much as Axel was comfortable sharing.

Blitz nodded momentarily, before continuing. "Why did you come to work I.M.P? I'm sure other companies wouldn't mind a beefy hellhound like yourself."

"Well, I just got fired from my other job the other day, and I thought it might be time for something new." Axel replied.

Blitz rose from his chair, a grin spreading across his face. "You've impressed me. I think you'll fit in well here."

"Great!" Axel said, as he returned the smile.

"I just got one more question for you." He walked over to where Axel was sitting, Blitz's eyes narrowing further with every step.

"...Yes?" Axel questioned.

In an unexpected move, Blitz seized Axel's shirt, pulling him forward until their faces were inches apart. The abruptness of the action left Axel stunned, his heart racing.

"Do you want to fuck my daughter???" Blitz's voice was laced with anger and accusation.

"I-I-I...w-what? What do you mean?" Axel said, shocked.

"The hellhound at the desk outside! Do you want to fuck her?" Blitz's words were sharp and pointed.

"...n-no! I don't even know her name!" Axel said, still stunned at Blitz's random outburst.

"Good." Blitz released his grip on Axel's shirt, stepping back with an air of satisfaction. He extended his hand towards Axel. "Welcome to I.M.P."

"T-Thanks, I guess." Axel said as he shook his hand, still spooked.

"Come on!" Blitz walked over to the door and opened it. "I'll introduce you to the others!"
