Aaron and Trevor were described as a pair of villainous siblings that caused mayhem wherever they went. They were part of an unnamed villains group and among the rare villains that didn't mind cooperating with Demons and Djinns.

Their background was discovered by Monica Arven, the traffickers who also worked at Awakeners Crime Investigation unit and helped the protagonist Cedric when he got in trouble with the authorities.

Monica stumbled upon Trevor who was in the midst of abducting kids from an orphanage. Trevor killed Monica and that was how Cedric came to know about him and that was also what led to the altercation between the two of them with the protagonist.

It was said, Aaron was a crazy researcher who wanted to find a cure for his blind eyes. Both of them managed to awaken themselves after reaching adulthood but the method was never mentioned.

After that, they both seemed obsessed with getting stronger and have no qualm in doing human experiments and killing people in the process.

Both of them were later killed by the protagonist but the children they have abducted were never found thus Cedric assumed they were all already dead and their corpses might have been turned into ashes since Trevor's power was related to fire or lava.

Looking at the two of them kneeling in front of him, Ares spoke, "If I ask you to work for me, I might sound suspicious just like those two men. But I still want you to work for me and there is a price you need to pay. Your loyalty. If you betrayed me, you will experience pain worse than death but if you're loyal, just like that man said, I will give you power so that you don't have to go dig the trash or beg for food ever again. Think about it quickly since I'm not as patient as them."

"Do you really think we can contribute something and be of use to you?" Aaron was still skeptical.

"I'm a rich noble and I hired people that I'm confident will either make me richer or live more comfortably or both. I don't like doing the hard work so I wanted people to be my dogs and do the hard work for me. If I think you're useless, I will just abandon you and throw you back to your original habitat, that's it. I consider that as a failed investment but if you really become useful then it's a successful investment for me."

Aaron and Trevor listened to what Ares was saying intently.

'Be useful and their lives will change forever.'

'Turn out to be useless, they will have to go back to how they originally were in the dusty slum.'

It wasn't hard to understand what the red haired young master in front of them wanted from them.

"We want a contract," Aaron said..

"Ok. This man is my butler Vincent and he will give you the contract tomorrow. List down anything you wanted to include in the contract," Ares simply agreed while motioning towards Vincent behind him.

Vincent, who understood what his young master meant, hinted to Vanya to immediately take the two of them to a nearby motel to clean up and rest.

"What kind of magic enchantment do you want to put on the contract, young master?" Vincent asked since he wanted to prepare it in advance.

Mana contract uses enchantment that binds the contractor and contractee's many cores thus if one of the party broke the contract, their mana core would crack and it will affect the amount of mana they can collect and also their mana control. It worst scenario, they might not be able to use mana ever again.

However, some high level mages in the future like Abigail and Melinda knew how to tweak those enchantments without the knowledge of the other party that were dealing with them using the mana contract.

That was why he and Melinda never signed any contract since based on how Melinda acted with him, she didn't seem to have any idea to take advantage of him, most probably not wanting to make our family get involved in our problems later.

"No I will just use the Death Vow contract," Ares already decided what to use.

Death Vow contract is similar to Mana Contract but with slight differences. Both contracts bind the mana but with the blessing from God of Death, the bindings were stronger and far more difficult to tweak and no one dared to try since the God of Death was described to be an eccentric God that didn't like people taunting his power or blessing.

For Aaron and Trevor, level one Death Vow contract was enough to bind them. The contract was just to make them, especially Aaron reassured.

•Level One Vow : If any of the person involved in the vow break the vow, he/she will incurred the wrath of the God of Eternal Rest and will experience all his/her nails being pulled out while his bloody fingers being burned by flames from the underworld as he/she is screaming in excruciating pain. The other party will be informed upon the contract being broken. The mana core of the one breaking the contract will also be permanently broken and marked by God of Eternal Rest with an unknown curse.

The next morning, Aaron and Trevor, who fortunately knew how to read, were dumbfounded when reading the draft of the contract.

"Is this really ok One?" Trevor asked.

"......." Aaron didn't know what to say.

Along with the draft were two identification cards with their faces and familiar names along with two birth certificates and house registration number.

Aaron Dvita
2018090801xxxx
Herza City, Vulcan Empire

Trevor Dvita
2019030401xxxx
Herza City, Vulcan Empire

"Dvita? Is this a fake IC?" Aaron asked.

"No, the last name Dvita does exist in the database and is one of the family that worked with the Targael," Vincent explained.

"So the young master put us into this family?" Trevor was excited.

He didn't remember what his parents looked like when he was abandoned by them. Aaron on the other hand ran away from home before arriving at the orphanage thus he never cared about family.

"They are not a typical family and you will know when you arrive at your new home later," Vincent didn't give out the details but the two of them didn't mind him much.

They were more focused on the draft.

No matter how many times they read it, the contract was as simple as it could be and it didn't have any disadvantages for them. The conditions were all logical.

"Ok we will sign the contract," Aaron decided.

"That's a good decision. From now on please call each other by the names given to you and enjoy the last few days you are here since you guys will follow the young master back to the capital soon," Vincent informed them.

Around the same time, in a secluded area, Ares was staring at the two men covered in blood and cuts all over their bodies.

"Young master, there's a spell put on their tongue so they can't answer anything that is considered as information no matter how much we tortured them," Vanya informed him.

"No wonder they only know how to scream. You can leave me alone for a while, Vanya and the others prepare to clean this room later when I'm done."

"As you wish, young master."

After Vanya was already gone, Ares took out the ring on the necklace he was wearing. It was the ring he 'borrowed' from God of Death.

"Let's see what we have here," Ares muttered before putting his palm on top of one of the man's heads before his eyes started to become hazy.

Both of the men were currently unconscious but they were still alive and breathing.

A hazy projection of moving images like a video appeared inside his head. Despite it being hazy, he still can see multiple robed men gathering and seemingly discussing something.

"Find them, recruit them and turn them to be what they should be."

"One at a time."

"The next target?"

"We have another target in this city."

"Maya City jdgsys+$&#?!"

"hehsmqjdn+$4+%"

Ares felt his head suddenly feel a sudden shock as if he was inflicted with an electric shock and reflectively he pulled away his hand from the man.

The man who was initially unconscious started trembling and spasming while his orifices started to bleed erratically. He died not long after that.

"Is this a side effect of using the artifact?" Ares couldn't know for sure.

But what he knew for the time being was, these men did indeed come to meet Aaron and Trevor with a purpose. They also seemed to know what the two of them would be in the future.

"Future knowledge? Don't tell me there's someone else also knows about the future other than me and Cedric."

Ares couldn't help but feel annoyed when thinking about it. He never really hid himself from Cedric because he didn't know how the original Ares acted in the novel and Cedric also never interacted with the original thus it was fine.

But if someone from among the villains were to know about the future, it would be hard to guess what that bastard would do.

"Tsk, there's still one left. Should let those Targael settle this one," Ares muttered while looking at another unconscious man on the floor.

Another issue he needed to settle was the Dvita family. It wasn't a family but more like a group of people being controlled by the Targael and their position weren't as well established as the Moran who became the Targael's vassal family.

The reason why he decided to put Aaron and Trevor in that family was because his grandpa decided to let him manage that group.

The reason for that was simple: Because he's the only one who can manage them.

"Why me?" Obviously Ares wouldn't accept such a loose reason.

"Remember the boy you found in Madrica City?" Zen asked.

1Chapter 42

While helping Laura with the special task, Ares stumbled upon a lab where he killed one woman and severely injured the other. Those two most probably were the researchers working in that lab.

But an unexpected thing happened to him and he died. All because of one person or maybe an individual since he wasn't sure if that individual is a human or something else.

"That boy was the only one alive, am I right?" Ares asked.

"Yes, among all the research products that we found there, that boy was the only one alive until now. Half of them died in the lab while the others died after being transported out from that lab."

And he was also the one who stabbed Ares on his abdomen before gouging out his heart and guts. Ares, who was shocked since he didn't sense the attack beforehand, didn't manage to do anything before dying.

If asked whether he hated that boy, the answer would be no. He just thought he was too careless, thus he died.

"So why did you suddenly mention him?"

"That boy, code name Anakin-Sub1 seems to be deemed as an early prototype of a half human experiment project."

Anakin-Sub1 or his current identity Anakin Dvita didn't act like a human but more like an animal who had been abused and caged for years. And he was put into the Dvita family since the family was created to control people like him.

"The only way to calm him down is by putting your blood around his vicinity. We also put one of your clothes that have your scent there to make him calm."

In other words, that was the actual reason why Ares needed to take care of this problematic family.

Ares couldn't help but frowned, "So this family-no it's more like a group. This is just a group of problematic people that no one wanted to control."

"Don't be too pessimistic, Ares. You can put people that you find interesting into this group too," Zen persuaded.

He already knew Ares was currently forming his own organization and based on his instinct, Zen knew it would be more than just an intelligence gathering organization like the Pearl or Spider Squad.

"How many of them?" Ares asked.

"Huh? What?"

"I mean, how many of them use the Dvita name currently?"

Zen was silent before saying, "There's only Anakin and Awang."

Ares was silent for a moment and Zen also didn't say anything.

'Who is Awang2Chapter 39&39?'

But soon he remembered who that was. The slave he bought from the Slave Gladiator show in Madrica City.

"Then it's fine," Ares said. He thought he needed to babysit another dozen people.

"So did you find interesting people there that you wanted to give the Dvita name to?"

"I'm not sure yet if I can mold them into my liking and you won't mind if I kill Anakin, right?"

"Well, you can do whatever you want as usual Ares."

"By the way, have you heard of the Hammer of Hephaestus? If I want that hammer, can you find a way to get it for me?"

It was rare for Ares to want or request for something so Zen answered without thinking, "Of course!"

"Can you get it for me?"

"Of course!"

Hearing his grandpa answering without any hesitation, Ares felt complicated, 'Maybe this old man thought it might be just a normal hammer.'
