The sound of a broken vase from the neighbours brought me back from the dead of sleep, sighing while regaining consciousness. My body tired even after a night's sleep, the first thought Kensu had was

"I finally got some sleep this time."

After getting his job at the 'Orion Corporation' known for hunting beast and demons alike, he had been having stress that has given him sleepless nights, as he had been working as an intern researcher there for two years and not gotten promoted yet.

He gets out bed and looks at himself in the mirror unintentionally and looks at his unkempt brown hair and the dark circles round his dark green eyes, after a while he goes downstairs to catch the bus outside he was depressed as he saw the one person he hated most himself.

As he goes outside he finds the steam bus leaving and chases after it, and manages to catch it after a while and enters slightly tired and the driver smirks at him as he enters and says

"Ah kid don't be so glum over a little joke."

Kensu just looks at him with an irritated look and takes a sit next to muscular, scruffy haired, tanned, blue eyed blacksmith his best friend

"Man you got to stop being so glum all the time, how you supposed to get ladies with that frown that will just scare them away I'll be there as your wingman."

Kensu looks at him and smiles a bit and says "As if I'll get any standing next to you." and the talk the rest of the way until his stop arrives at his stop and he bids farewell to his friend as he leaves the bus

"Ahhh time to start the day" as he walks over to the front gate of Orion Corp. it looked like and average mansion but with a prison like vibe and shielded by a wall with gems embedded in them to create a barrier a guard walks over to him

"Identification please." bellows the guard as he looks at Kensu head to toe suspiciously

"Ok geez here."

Passes him an ID and the guard inspects it and passes it back to Kensu and he says "Get in boy" and Kensu goes through the security check for any destructive weapon and goes in the building and finds the servants in a frenzy cleaning and he wonders why and tries to get someone to answer him but none stop to answer him so grabs one by shoulder and asks

"What's going on here today."

Servant a little annoyed by being disturbed from work replies

"If you must know hindrance an esteemed guest of the director is visiting."

"I didn't hear anything like that."

"I wonder why." says the servant sarcastically and walks off in a hurry

Kensu shrugs it off and walks to a room opens it to sees a moderately sized room with a hanging chandelier with 28 seats with 27 people in the room 20 of those were dressed like him but theirs were higher quality and generally better looking and mixed in gender equally.

And the 7 others were dressed according to preference as the were the hunters, while walking the lead researcher Mr. Navada calls him over to stand next to him while everyone else is discussing the guest's identity and finally Mr. Navada says

"The guest is here quiet down. Everyone takes a seat except for Kensu as he stands by him and finally the door opens to reveal a pale, slender, tall individual smartly dressed and neat hair,

he made Kensu feel on edge not because of those features but his eyes made him look like a terror if stared for too long so he darted his eyes away the guest broke the silence in the room as he took the last vacant seat.

"Shall we begin."
