How many times did TL told me about the wonders of technology?  Ever since being promoted to SME, she has never failed me to bring about the wonders of innovation and how it has helped our customers. As someone who has yet to decide his specialization but is leaning towards the magic side of things, this would be a different perspective. After a few minutes of being inside of what I can only describe as a capsule we arrived at what looked like a platform like the Arcanae Halls but instead of the mystical feeling that I had, this felt different. It felt more cold, distant and if I were to choose a word, methodical.

As we arrived with the help Ama, The Techtrae Bay stood before us, an epitome of advanced and futuristic design. Its structure was a marvel of sleek, metallic surfaces and cutting-edge technology. The walls gleamed with a polished, silvery sheen, adorned with intricate patterns of circuitry that seemed to pulse with an ethereal energy.

The ambient lighting was a soft, cool blue, casting an otherworldly glow throughout the bay. It was a stark contrast to the warm and mystical ambiance of the Arcanae Halls, emphasizing the methodical precision that defined the Techtrae division.

The floor was a smooth, seamless expanse that seemed to stretch endlessly, devoid of any seams or joints. It gave the impression of an infinite digital canvas, ready to be programmed and manipulated at will.

Along the walls were banks of sleek, high-tech workstations, each equipped with holographic displays that projected intricate diagrams, data streams, and virtual interfaces. Agents and technicians moved about, their motions purposeful and efficient, as if choreographed by the very technology they interacted with.

In the center of the bay, a massive, crystalline dome arched overhead. It shimmered with an ever-changing array of colors, resembling a vast holographic map of the city. It was a testament to the fusion of magic and technology, displaying celestial patterns and arcane sigils that danced across its surface.

The hum of machinery and the faint whirr of cooling systems filled the air, creating a constant symphony of technological activity. It was a sensory experience unlike any other, a fusion of the digital and the physical, where magic seamlessly integrated with cutting-edge machinery.

"This is the first time you've been here, right Vaughn?" Alliana asked as Ama reduced herself to a miniature self.

"Yes," I answered back while looking around the surroundings.

"Good. Then I'm prepared to woo you into picking a Techtrae specialization," Alliana said, pounding her chest as Lydia arrived, appearing in what looked like a teleportation mechanism.

"I'm sorry. I had a few things to attend to at operations," she said with a smile while patting my back. "Ah, the Techtrae Bay," she whispered with nostalgia in her voice. "How long has it been since I was here."

"Been quite a while, Miss Hill," a mechanical voice answered as one of the bay doors opened, revealing a pair of fraternal twins wearing the MagicPerformax uniform. They looked at us with robotic smiles.

"TL Willingford. I see that you've finally had the chance to bring your SME here?" the boy twin started speaking while looking at me.

"Yes. He is leaning more towards the magic side of things, Inio, but I think we'd be able to convince him to go with Team Techtrae," Alliana chuckled as the twins nodded.

"Then, if you'd allow us to introduce ourselves, we are the Integrated Neural Interlinked Order System or Inio," the boy said.

"And I'm the Integrated Neural Interlinked Automation System or Inia," the girl followed with a slight bow. "And we would like to welcome you to the Techtrae Bay. The Central Processing Unit of MagicPerformax."

"I-It's a pleasure to be here," I answered back with a smile. "I mean, I've heard stories on how MagicPerformax could rival the Concentratus in terms of technological advantage, but this is the first time I've seen this in real life."

"Concentratus has their efforts in technologies, yes, but I firmly believe that we are at the advantage," Inia said with a smile while looking at Alliana, who let out a small cough.

"I guess? Anyways, there's a lot of things that we need to go through, but I feel like I should be the one choosing what specialization my SME would see."

"Wouldn't you want Vaughn in the Machinist sector?" Lydia suggested.

"Eh, that would be too boring for him," Alliana groaned.

"It wasn't for you, though," Lydia responded, a small smile forming on her face. "I think the SME Chelsea is also taking up something related."

"Oh right, then I guess we could go to where I chose my path, Vaughn. Is that okay?" Alliana asked.

"Yeah, I mean, it would be interesting to see where you learned how to create Ama, TL," I answered as Inio and Inia nodded, their eyes emitting a blue glow.

"Very well then. Allow us to take you to the Machinist sector."
