Garlvo finally arrived at the Kingdom of Ohiorm, though he was overly cautious due to what happened to him in the Kingdom of Rehuland.

However, the Kingdom showed no signs of hostility towards him, allowing him to rest easy there. The carriage stopped, and Garlvo got off, thanking the old man who had driven him. Though the old man hadn't expected any gratitude, he helped people out of kindness.

Genzo, on the other hand, commented, "Damn, he didn't even show any gratitude to the one who saved him." Raijin understood his personality well, knowing what he had gone through in his story.

Garlvo walked through the Kingdom's hallways, observing fair trades among the vendors, a lack of fights, and people smiling. He wondered what kind of person the Lord was to ensure such a peaceful life for his people. It was the first time he'd encountered a ruler who prioritized their people over greed.

However, just as he arrived, a hundred soldiers outside began attacking the Kingdom, initiating war the moment he stepped in. What an unfortunate entrance.

Garlvo was infuriated and muttered, "Damn it, I thought I'd be able to live a peaceful life here! Another goddamn war." He reached the wall, jumped over, and headed into the forest, planning to ambush the soldiers from behind to attack them freely.

"Fire! Break the wall!" The soldier at the frontlines commanded, while their leader, Commander Arlando Deginemar, aimed to plunge the peaceful Ohiorm Kingdom into chaos. Meanwhile, the ruler of Ohiorm Kingdom, Fugora Ghenvoc Lavtoryu, ordered his forces to defend the Kingdom with all their might, fighting back with their powerful weapons and launching a giant burning boulder at the enemy soldiers.

The enemy soldiers quickly scattered and some avoided the impact, but their losses were significant. They had another destructive weapon ready to launch, but then an ambush struck from behind. Their numbers dwindled as they were slaughtered one by one by a single man wielding a massive sword. Arlando recognized him as "The Berserker" and ordered his soldiers to kill Garlvo while they attacked the Kingdom.

However, Garlvo proved too strong, and their forces suffered greater casualties than Ohiorm's attacks. Arlando decided to confront Garlvo himself, despite the rest of his forces being weaklings. He was a massive man in thick armor, wielding a giant axe with enough weight to crush a knight.

While Garlvo was busy slaughtering many soldiers, a giant axe suddenly hurtled towards him. He narrowly dodged it, realizing it could have killed him. The soldiers decided to distance themselves from Garlvo, leaving Arlando to take him on alone. His rage fueled him as he swung his massive axe at Garlvo, who managed to parry the attack and counter, cutting Arlando's arm.

Arlando screamed in pain and became even more enraged, attacking with his axe at full force. Garlvo clashed it with his sword and broke the axe, then swiftly beheaded Arlando with a single swing.

The remaining enemy soldiers were in disbelief that their commander had fallen to one man. Above, another giant burning boulder was launched and annihilated them. Luckily, Garlvo had already fled the battlefield, anticipating the attack.

However, an arrow struck Garlvo's shoulder, fired by a soldier who had been about to die, and got crushed by a boulder after shooting. He can't believe he got shot while running but it doesn't stop him from running and continued. Now he left the battlefield and sat aiding his injury by taking out the arrow in his shoulder, he put a cloth in his mouth to prevent his scream and pulled out the arrow, the pain is excruciating and the blood is splattering around but it is necessary to remove it to heal.

He screamed and managed to pull it out successfully. He bandaged the wound with herbs and saw a crack in the Orb, realizing the danger had increased. Unsure how to prevent it, he continued fleeing back to the Kingdom of Ohiorm.

Back at Ohiorm, the Kingdom was celebrating its victory, but Fugora was puzzled by how they had defeated the enemy so thoroughly. He didn't know who had aided them. Meanwhile, in the Kingdom of Kalermun, its ruler, Yamera Vangold, was furious about the results of his invasion into Ohiorm and vented his anger on his generals.

He decided to send more soldiers to defeat Ohiorm and dispatched four generals—Scorpion, Rhino, Snake, and Eagle—with 30,000 soldiers.

The next day, Garlvo awoke and stepped outside the inn to enjoy the fresh air. He had arrived at the inn injured, and the innkeeper, Hage Rakuzaki, had been concerned for him, allowing him to rest and inquiring about his injuries. Though Garlvo hadn't answered, he paid Hage ten silver coins for the room and a day of rest.

Now, Garlvo was somewhat recovered, and he reflected on the outcome of his actions. The people in Ohiorm were smiling happily, untouched by corruption. Genzo understood why Garlvo had chosen to fight the soldiers instead of running away for survival—he had been searching for peace. Raijin had already recognized that.

Suddenly, the alert bell rang from the tower, announcing another attack. Garlvo was infuriated and quickly returned to the inn to prepare his weapons for battle. He entered the Palace and was questioned by knights about his identity and intent. Garlvo demanded to meet the ruler and was allowed to do so by Fugora, despite the knights' concerns that he might harm the ruler. Garlvo then revealed his true purpose: "Ruler, I am Garlvo, a traveling mercenary. I will join your army to defend this Kingdom." Fugora allowed him to proceed and inquired about his motive. Garlvo replied, "It's a waste for a rare uncorrupted Kingdom to just fall, isn't it?"

Across the world, kingdoms were tainted by greed, so corruption followed wherever people went. Garlvo had traveled through many kingdoms, always witnessing people living in sadness and without freedom, forced into various actions.

With determination, Garlvo joined the army to fight against Kalermun. The Kalermun soldiers numbered 30,000, led by four generals, while Ohiorm's forces consisted of 5,000 soldiers and two generals, including Garlvo.

The soldiers had faith in their new recruit, and the battle began with exchanges of fire between the two sides. Swords clashed, shields were raised, and Garlvo slaughtered enemies singlehandedly, guiding the others with his strategic prowess. His plan was to confront the four Kalermun generals directly, alongside Ohiorm's generals Shagehi Murago and James Ovlehium.

Now they were ready to face their adversaries!
