"You want me to kill someone for you?" Xall'minnon asked with a look of understanding, her anger slightly receding as she looked at the thin man who's body trembled under her gaze.

"I know you want me to forget your True Name, so let's make a deal, I will forget your True Name, and you'll kill someone for me, deal?" The man asked with a look of fierceness, not directed at Xall'minnon but even if it were, she wouldn't feel intimidated.

"Not enough, not enough. I want your life, it's fitting since you ended my previous one after all." Xall'minnon said with a smile, it was a bright and happy one, but the man just felt cold and his back began to perspire.

"I can't promise you I'll give you my life willingly, I still want to live." The man shook his head but the clenching of his hands weren't missed by Xall'minnon who smiled and examined the mostly empty room, with a table covered in a white sheet being the only furniture piece present.

"You killed someone named Cole, because you left that knife hoping it would bond with someone unfortunate enough, didn't you? Whether you try to justify it, you still have my previous self's blood on your hands." Xall'minnon smiled and approached the window and looked out at the empty driveway.

"I didn't think you'd care, aren't you happy you exist now? Why should I die for someone neither of us care about?" The man sneered and spoke, his eyes staring at Xall'minnon's back with a look of ridicule.

"To say I don't care is a bit inaccurate, a human can't become a demon and vice versa, the human parts of Cole were lost in my creation, hence my anger and annoyance with you isn't too high, I at most want to punish you in Cole's stead." Xall'minnon answered to clear the man's doubts and then frowned.

"What's your name? It's annoying to not know." Xall'minnon spoke with a smile, but the man didn't answer her question and instead entered a separate room and returned several minutes later with an old and worn book.

"Erick, since you won't tell me, I'll just look for myself." Xall'minnon said lightly and sat on the table, her tattered and blood stained outfit Cole had perished in still in her body.

"Do you have clothes? This pair seems to be irreparable thanks to your contrived and selfish plots." Hearing Xall'minnon, Erick was tempted to use her True Name once more, but if he did so, he might lose the chance to cooperate with this demon before him.

"Oh, quite cautious aren't you? You used my True Name twice already, maybe it will work a third time too?" Hearing Xall'minnon's obvious taunt, Erick didn't respond to it, knowing she wanted to break free of his control when he overused her True Name, and invalidated all his previous commands, she'd definitely not spare him.

"I won't use it, I can still order you to do something once more, how about I just send you to kill him? When you return, I'll be long gone." Erick sneered and then looked into Xall'minnon's yellow and green eyes.

"Either sign a contract or I'll just have you accompany me until I die or something." Erick didn't look away, so Xall'minnon couldn't help but start clapping her hands with mock approval.

"Congratulations to Erick, the rookie demon summoner who summoned a demon to kill someone, and now he threatens with boredom. Fine, I kill your enemy, you forget my True Name, no records of my True Name will be kept, do you accept the terms?" Xall'minnon's voice shifted from playful to serious in an instant, and seeing she spoke of doing as he wished, Erick smiled.

"I want to add that you cannot attack me to the clause, either you agree or there's no de-" Erick hadn't finished his words when Xall'minnon's voice cut him off.

"Deal." Xall'minnon said and then she left the old house, her feet barely making a sound despite walking across overgrown grass and rocks to the sidewalk.

"Erick oh Erick, how silly..." Xall'minnon shook her head and her bloodied clothes were shredded almost immediately, and then a simple black pants and black shirt appeared on her body.

Xall'minnon wasn't trying to guilt trip Erick when she said Cole had died. From a philosophical standpoint, maybe had hadn't, since his likes and dislikes, wants and desires were simply transfered to Xall'minnon, but unlike humans, a demon's thought process and existence was vastly different.

Cole died when Xall'minnon began to exist, and Cole was the basis for Xall'minnon's existence, Cole couldn't be retrieved, nor would Xall'minnon try, she liked her current self far more.

She simply vanished after stepping into a shadow, and reappeared across the city in a well maintained neighborhood, her different colored eyes instantly locking on a person, she stepped through the shadows once more and entered the man's house.

"Seems he's well off, I wonder why Erick's so desperate to kill him." Xall'minnon mumbled, looking around the house with a leisurely attitude, she was neither anxious or afraid of discovery.

Glancing at the clock, the time showed it was a little after twelve, and the person she had come for was inside the room on his bed.

Opening the door softly, Xall'minnon entered the room, her caramel colored skin shining faintly with a beautiful sheen that the darkness couldn't completely mask.

"Hmm? I still can't see why? He doesn't seem rich or anything, could it be Erick was an NTR protagonist who had his girlfriend stolen and he wore a green hat?" Xall'minnon's charming voice sounded in the room and the man stirred groggily.

"Good morning Luis, I'm here to kill you, but don't worry, I don't have a grudge with you, so it won't hurt. I'll even point the authorities to the culprit too, don't worry about a thing." Xall'minnon explained generously, which didn't ease Luis' confusion and shock.

"Who are you, why are you in my house?" Luis scrambled off his bed and grabbed a nearby metal lamp, holding it between himself and Xall'minnon.

"Don't blame me, I also think this is dumb, but hey who gave him my name? Ah, it was me. Guess it's my fault indirectly?" Xall'minnon mulled over the cause of the matter while Luis reached for his phone.

"I've called the police, if you don't leave now, you'll be arrested and thrown into prison for trespassing! If you leav-" Before Luis could finish, the lamp in his hand fell apart, splitting into five metal pieces on the ground.

"Luis, although I only knew you for a moment, I'm also heartbroken for you, I'll make sure to throw the blame on Erick, don't worry, I promise you alright?" Patting her chest, which shook slightly from the light pats, she looked at Luis who collapsed, five deep gashes cut in his chest.

Although it seemed bloody and painful, he died at the first strike, and the rest were the knife's own doing, she only managed to restrain it afterwards because it suddenly kept cutting Luis as if it wanted to make him unrecognizable.

"You behave for me! I haven't gotten over you chopping me up, if you misbehave, I'll turn you into a bracelet!" As if understanding her words, the knife's trembling stopped and it laid in her hand like a regular knife, albeit drenched in blood.

"Okay, don't pout, I wasn't serious, you allowed for my existence after all." Xall'minnon patted the knife and then typed a message into Luis' notes and then locked the phone.

"Now Erick won't have a good time, prison sounds like a crappy place, it's best if he sits there for a while, then I'll send him a gift." Xall'minnon chuckled and then vanished, reappearing in Cole's small living room, looking around with nostalgia.

"I wonder if he would be angry? I don't know, maybe he wouldn't?" Xall'minnon didn't dwell on Cole's thoughts, she approached the mirror and inspected her body with interest.

"Um, I'm actually flat? Well, B isn't flat, right? Five feet two inches isn't short either right? Why am I short? Cole was five feet seven inches, couldn't I get some of his height?" Although she was aggrieved in tone, her smiling face didn't change at all.

How she appeared was how she wished, whether or not she admitted it, Xall'minnon examined her long black hair mixed with deep blue streaks that flowed around her hair freely and smiled, then frowned.

"My teeth makes me look like I'm a monster... I don't plan on eating anything alive, normal teeth should suffice for now." Opening her mouth, her sharp fangs in her mouth were blunted and became more human like after a moment.

"Hm? I'm so beautiful, I think I'm narcissistic now? Ah, I'm so pretty!" Xall'minnon couldn't help but stare at herself with fascination and then rolled her eyes.

"Forget it, I can't just stare at myself forever, even I'm not that gorgeous." She quickly examined her body and then decided to change into an oversized hoodie and tights, her lithe body making her nod in satisfaction.

"Just a little flat, but oh well!" This time, Xall'minnon didn't travel through the shadows, the cost of doing so repeatedly after a certain point becoming extremely high, to the point she just felt better of walking.

"Erick... Well, let's just wait and see." After she killed Luis, the contract between them was enforced, Erick had forgotten her True Name, and she couldn't kill him.

"Now I have endless time to do anything I want, so what should I do?" Xall'minnon although new to existing, sensed a demonic presence far away from herself when she became aware, not exactly noticeable, just present.

"Well no big moves, who knows what kind of secret things people have, you can never be to careful." Xall'minnon chided herself and looked around and finally came to a multi-story hotel.

"Now I'm drained." Unlike Cole, she could move through shadows to travel nearly instantaneously, and after about two minutes of walking, she directly moved to the hotel feeling incredibly lazy, even though doing so also nearly bottomed out her reserves.

"I'm gonna become a lazy person who just teleports around, whooo, I'll become a lazy person who just lays in bed, hm? Well, it's way better than working." Xall'minnon chuckled and greeted the hotel receptionist with a smile.

"Good morning, I'm here to book a room." Xall'minnon wasn't worried about money, a demon's power could give her an endless supply, it was simply paper if she wanted cash, and tweaking data in a system for online funds.

"Um, good morning to you too, we have three different types of rooms available, do you have a preference on the floor number you'll be booking?" Hearing the receptionist's response, Xall'minnon created an ID card and handed it to the woman along with a debit card.

"I'll take a standard suite on the highest floor, I like looking down from high places." Xall'minnon chuckled and watched with a smile that made the receptionist self conscious as she recorded her name and charged her for the room.

"Thank you Miss Receptionist, hey you're so cute, do you have a boyfriend?" Xall'minnon's words shocked the receptionist into a state of disbelief, but then looking at Xall'minnon's colorful eyes full of curiosity, she took a deep breath and nodded.

"Yes, I do." Xall'minnon wasn't surprised at all, and she nodded with a look of gratification on her face, and the receptionist couldn't help but give her a weird look.

"Oh, no I wasn't hitting on you, I apologize if it seemed that way, I just like cute things, it's good you have someone else, being lonely is bad for the mental health of people I'm told." Xall'minnon's almost apologetic voice helped dispel the receptionists confusion, and she nodded and handed Xall'minnon her keycard for her room.

"Thank you for the help." Xall'minnon waved and headed to the elevator, her mind thinking back to the recent events she'd experienced.

She could understand but didn't feel neither embarrassment nor fear. She felt as if she were always on a rush of something, which while making her more happy, also made her think in the present too much.

"Luckily I threw the blame to Erick, if he gets caught, a mental hospital awaits him if he says a demon he summoned killed someone." Xall'minnon got off on the eighth floor and found her room easily enough.

"It's comfy feeling." The cream colored bedding and the neatly placed table and chairs, the soft looking king sized bed, Xall'minnon jumped into the bed, her clothes vanishing midway and enjoyed the soft fabric pressing against her skin as she fell into something akin to a light sleep.
