It had been hours since Hera and her friends had been discussing the change that had happened in her and all of their lives.

They spent the whole day catching up and now the sun was going down, the cup of tea had been replaced by bottles of wine and alcohol. 

The four goddesses were busy drinking laughing and talking about all and everything without any care in the world when they heard a masculine voice coming from behind them 

"I see that you are in good company," 

"woosh," the three goddesses without a second of hesitation sprung into action, in an instant they surrounded Hera with weapons drawn ready for combat 

"Sorry, I didn't mean to sneak up on you like that, this is just a habit," Maeron said 

Hera chuckled a little before saying "That's fine girl, no need to be afraid, he is..." 

"Maeron!" Anastasia ended Hera's sentence after the detailed explanation they had received they were able to immediately recognize him 

'He really is absolutely beautiful, and at the same time so dangerous,' she thought

"He is even more handsome than what you described," Iris blurted fixing him with a somewhat fascinated expression 

Evangeline was looking at him without saying a word her mind was a mess 

'Not only he is the most beautiful and handsome person I have ever seen, but he was able to sneak up on all of us at the same time, even now I can't feel his presence it's like he is in another dimension than us, and if maybe it's the case,' without realizing it like if hypnotized Evangeline walked toward him and move her arm forward as if to poke him when

She came back to her senses when her hand was grabbed by Maeron she felt the heat from his palm and he was giving her his most beautiful smile before kissing her hand, Evangeline found herself blushing heavily before quickly recovering her composure

"Hello, Maeron! This is a pleasure to meet you my name is Evangeline, Hera talked a lot about you," she said returning his smile 

"In good I hope," he said looking toward Hera who just looked away 

Iris walked confidently toward him "She told us a lot about you, how strong resourceful, big-I mean beautiful, you are! By the way I'm Iris," she tried to recover her lapsus but it just made him smile 

"A pleasure to meet all of you,"

He greeted them all before walking to Hera who was just seated on a chair looking elsewhere trying to cover her embarrassment

he bent forward to her level

"No greeting from you," 

"Morning," she just whispered 

"Morning?! The sun is going down," he said kissing her cheek 

"Why are you so shy all of a sudden, you were quite lively a minute ago, I don't know if I should be embarrassed or proud, of the description that you gave of my body," he whispered into her ear and saw them become bright red 

"How long have you been here," she said turning to give him an accusatory look that just made him chuckle 

"Not long, minutes," he responded

"By the way, he agrees," he said and he could see the gears turn in her head before she realized and a faint smile of relief crossed her lips

"Huh, excuse me," 

Maeron turned toward Iris who was interrupted them 

"Sorry to bother you while you are sharing a moment of, How do I say that," 

"Connection,"

"Passion,"

the other two interjected 

"Yes, that," 

"Sorry to interrupt that moment of passion between you but I-we need to talk to you," Iris said in a serious tone, looking at Hera who just sigh at that 

"Do you need to do that now," she asked a little exasperated by the sudden turn of even, she looked at the two others to see that they seemed in agreement 

"I'm missing something," said Maeron 

"Yes, we made an agreement, nothing that you can't handle," said Hera getting up with a drink in hand before leaving the room

When the door closed leaving Maeron and the three goddesses he understood what was happening 

"I see, am I to be evaluated? Are you going to ask what are my intention with Hera," he said in a sarcastic tone 

"Something like that," responded Anastasia 

"What did you do to her exactly?!"

"I did a lot of things with Hera. You gonna have to be more specific?" he replied 

"She isn't like she used to be, it's like she is a completely different person, so I'm asking what did you to our friend, we will not be fooled by your charm and tricked," said Evangeline 

Maeron looked at them and he could see the defiance and mistrust from them

'they seem to have realized that I used Aphrodite's power when I arrived, it's not working right now, I see that with enough desire or willpower, you can resist that,' 

He looked at them and this time his playfulness was gone replaced by a serious expression 

"I didn't do anything to her other than show her the truth how her Husband and king used deceptive ways to force her to her side, used and tricked her, turned her people, and closest friends against her all, let her subject mock her," he said before pausing to look at their expression he could see in their eyes that what he was saying was resonating with them after they were among the ones who knew her the most 

He knew that they had been with Hera longer than they had been with Zeus since his release from Chronos's stomach and that it was only much later than they she married Zeus 

"Is that enough or do I need to continue," 

"You think that we are just going to believe you like that, she told us about you," 

"Yes she told us about your ambition, your powers, your desire for power, your insatiable lust, you Maeron are even worse than Zeus, every bad trait that he has you have ten times over, you are the kind of person that she hates and abhors, and yet she does seem to realize it no she realized that and is even going along with that, that's absurd!!" Anastasia the calmest and most level-headed of the group shouted in anger 

"That is because I'm the only one who is giving her what she needs, the support that she so desperately craves, I'm the one who is giving her a shoulder to lean on, a pillar of support, and an exit to her current situation, a situation that she grew to resent but endured when you three could just watch helpless," he explained to the three goddesses and he could see anger growing as they knew that he was right

"You are the one who brought her to her lowest when you showed her Serea's betrayal, you wanted her to crumble so that you could rebuild her and have her reliant on you!" Evangeline affirmed 

"Did I?! Maybe," he said nonchalantly and could see the anger rising in their eyes 

"All I did was to show her the truth, the truth of her life, and make her a proposition that she accepted in perfect knowledge of the situation," he took a few seconds before he continued

"You know she isn't stupid like most seem to think she is very smart, you have been with her the longest you must know that, she is just quite angry, impulsive with a few other big flaws, but those flaws didn't appear out of nowhere, anyone would be frustrated in a situation like the one she is in," 

"What! Are you telling us that you are in love with her and want only her happiness," 

"Of course not! But I like her and I won't bore her any ill will, and to be honest, even if I had any ill intention toward her you couldn't stop it, she told you about me right, she must have told you what I'm capable of, you must know that I know a lot about you too," 

"She must have told you how I was able to spy on your friend Serea, the shadow of your group, how I was able to spy on Zeus the king of the gods, and you know my powers, I could have gained control of all of you before you even realized it, and I still can even with you fully on guard, instead I made her my partner," 

He could see that they were now calmer than at the beginning of the conversation so he continued 

"You how relaxed she was with you earlier, how long has it been since you spent such a good time together, I think I'm the best thing that happened to your friend in hundreds of years" he terminated his statement

Once he was done the three goddesses looked at each other in their eyes there was helplessness, pain, and many other feelings before realization and acceptance appeared in their eyes 

"Maybe you are right," they said turning their gaze back toward him 

"But how are we to trust that you will not hurt her in the future," said Evangeline 

"Very simple her and I are tied together," 

"In a way who gave you an advantage over her," 

"But it protects her from me, this is my assurance, and this is all you will get," 

"Fine," Said Iris but he could feel a light of defiance in her eyes 

"There is one last thing that we want to test," saying that the three goddesses took their fighting stance, and they 

"Hera said that you are as strong if not stronger than Zeus, if it's the case you won't have any trouble defeating us right!" she defied 

"I'm in a good mood beating my queen friends is not very proper" 

"She told you that we had an agreement right, well if you beat us in five minutes, then we will be all yours as you wanted," said Anastasia
