Maeron could be seen walking on a rocky field with such luxurious vegetation in a remote location that it was hard to see more than a meter of distance,

“It’s the kind of place where you easily lose yourself,” said Maeron using one hand he uprooted a massive tree blocking his path before throwing it away

It has been hours since he was walking in the forest, for a human it would have been an unsurmountable obstacle, but for him a god it was a walk in the park

“It shouldn’t be far away,” he said pushing uprooting another tree only to find himself surprise

“What!” he exclaimed looking in front of him constating that he was now out of the forest,

‘I got out without even noticing it,’ he thought before pausing for a second

‘No! I did move fast, but not that fast, plus my goal was not to get out but to find that place,’ turning around to face the path that he took he closes his eyes and focuses his divine energy in his eyes

(Eye of knowledge)

When he opened his eyes back his usual beautiful sky-blue eyes had taken a golden hue.

Looking at the forest he focused his attention even more and focused on every detail, and after a few minutes of observation his eyes changed back

“I see,” he said with a smile

‘So the entire forest is part of the prison, anyone who enters that place either god or human would subtly be pushed to leave the place without even noticing it, I suppose I never saw it as it didn’t affect him as the master of the place, huh, now I have to start again,’ he thought before starting to walks back in toward his goal

‘Plus the fact that this place is so unhospitable doesn’t give people any incentive to stay,’ while thinking all that he navigated his way all around, this time putting a lot more attention to every move he made

After a day of research he finally arrived at his destination "I am finally here, damned they really did their best when they created that fucking place I ended up wandering out three times in total, what a waste of time,” Letting out a sigh of frustration

He looked at his appearance, his blue and white strands of hair were disheveled with bits of leaves and dry woods sticking from them, while his beautiful clothes were dusty and part of them were torn

“No need to fix that I’m gonna be get even more dirty soon, well at least I am here now,” he said looking at the mountain in front of him

Closing his eyes he put his hands on the wall in front of him, using his affinity with space he was able to feel a space distortion,

‘That’s indeed the right place,’ he said in his mind

With his eyes closed he took a few deep breaths and focused all his attention on the tasks at hand, if someone were to attack him now he would be in trouble.

Luckily other than a few beasts and animals, there was no one here, and he had killed enough to scare them away, those beasts even the most daring ones no longer dared to attacks him,

Soon armed with the golden eyes of knowledge to looked at the mountains with the utmost attention and all the information of the distortion appeared in front of him like an open book

He then surrounded himself with his own divine energy that he started to manipulate with a dexterity that most gods would never comprehend, if someone were to see him they would think that he was nothing but a mirage, as his form was blurry and distorted.

“It should do the trick, I am in perfect synch with the barrier, now is the moment of truth,” he said walking toward the wall

Like he predicted he was able to safely wall in the mountain like a ghost.

After walking through the barrier Maeron found himself inside what seemed like an entirely different space, in front of him the landscape was desolate.

The ground was dirty and covered with a black sticky substance, the trees were dry and those who weren’t dead seemed sick with fruit that appeared rotten.

Turning his head to look at what seems a source of water he frowns seeing that same black substance everywhere

“Growl…” While he was observing his surrounding monsters like creatures began to appear before him.

While that happened he started to feel a sinister energy creep into his mind as if trying to corrupt him,

‘It is trying, you are trying to corrupt me, or rather corrupt anything in that space,’ he thought looking at those monsters in front of him

They were disgusting creatures with bones sticking out from some of them, others had multiple eyes all around their face, and many other deformities, just by looking at them he could deduce that the dark energy around them had made those ordinary animals mutate to the point where became the monsters they were now

“That is foul,” he said releasing his divine energy to scare them away not wanting to engage them, but that energy instead of scaring the monsters made them more frenetic and crazy, and without any fear, they jumped toward him mouth wide open

“Damn,” he said his face contorted with disgust

(Water slashes)

“Slash…” Before they could get close to him, they were all split into two pieces by a whip made of water that had appeared from his hand before they fell to the ground spilling their inside out

Without paying much attention to them he walked past them deeper toward his goal but

Feeling something creeping on him from behind he turned around to see the creatures that he had split in two a few centimeters away from him ready to take a bit out of his flesh.

Seeing that beast about to bite him a feeling of profound disgust and anger overwhelmed him,

“Bang,” at lightning speed before it could register what happened the monster was swatted away like a bug, the power was such that the entire monster shattered away in pieces,

“Ahh, fuck,” he swore shaking his hand to get rid of the dirt that had stuck to it

Only after cleaning it did he notice that the monsters all around him were getting up as the viscous substance around them was sticking them back together,

“How disgusting, I suppose they get those abilities from their creator,” he said in revulsion,

“but, I need him so let’s just bear with it,” he said putting his palm up forward, from his palm beautiful blue divine aura gathered

Aura that he shot at them,

“Argg,” upon contact with the pure divine energy the monsters began to melt like snow in the sun

Turning around he saw that his action had just attracted many other monsters of all time, such as giant spiders, wolves with multiple mouths, and other mutated creature

“How could he leave that place so unattended, considering what he put inside,” he said walking forward toward the monsters who launched at him,

“Well I suppose I should thank his irresponsibility,” he said recreating the water whip, but this time on both of his hands without forgetting to apply a good amount of divine energy gathered inside them.

“Let’s clean this place a little bit,” he said slicing up all the creatures on his path

After hours of what could only be described as a sided massacre, Maeron was able to reach his destination leaving behind him a trail of body, entrail, and dark blood.

He had noticed that the deeper he went the darker and more sinister that power was getting, and in some way, he was relieved, indeed the more potent and dangerous that being was the more chance it was that his place would succeed.

“I just hope that I will grow strong enough in the meantime,” he said as he stopped at his destination, a normal-sized cave in front of him.

Leaking from the there was an enormous amount of miasma that he could see

‘If I were to expose a living to that he would immediately start to melt away like candy, how scary,’ he thought

While he was lost in his thoughts a dark broken and sinister voice called to him "Come inside little one, come in, I won’t eat you?"

Hearing the voice Maeron who had until now been calm as if everything were in control felt his heart pound a little faster, after all it had been years since he had seen that place,

The monster inside had been left unattended for years to the point that he had expended his influence on the beasts outside ‘What else does he have in his sleeve,’ While thinking that a little smile appears on his face

“Thanks for the invitation,” he said with a confident smile as he walked inside the dark cave
