Disciples filled the training ground, their swords slicing through the air, some practicing the art of other weapons, others practicing magic, and some engrossed in studies.

The old Ryojin, from before his reincarnation, strolled amidst these people, engaging in conversations. The guild building stood as an elegant and beautiful structure, showcasing its grandeur.

This montage transitioned seamlessly from the old Ryojin admiring the splendid guild building to the reincarnated teenager Ryojin gazing at the same structure, now in a state of disrepair.

Ryojin couldn't help but contemplate the state of the guild. It had once been their pride and achievement, built from scratch through years of hard work with his comrades.

It was now a shadow of its former self. He had fought tirelessly to save lives, only to be betrayed by his best friend. Reincarnated as a teenager, he now stood before the guild in its deteriorated state.

Taking a deep breath, Ryojin looked at the guild building once more.

Ryojin thought to himself, "Even though it's in poor condition, I can't help but feel at home.

The calm, soothing wind and atmosphere all remind me that, out of everything in my previous life, the only place I truly felt at home was in the guild with the ones I was close to.It was something that I realised too late."

The faces of his comrades at the guild flashed before his eyes—two men, an old woman, and a child who always followed him appeared in his mind. Ryojin couldn't help but smile at the memories.

Ryojin contemplated his comrades, murmuring, "I guess I will miss their bickering. I wonder if any of them are still alive."

He sighed, pondering his next steps. Reincarnated, he was no longer bound by the duties and responsibilities he had borne before. For once, he could live freely and have a life of his own.

Before his reincarnation, Ryojin was emotionless, a cold, merciless killer, his eyes looked dead, and was burdened with too many responsibilities.

Due to some events that had transpired in the war, the emotion he had far surpassed started to come out a little bit.

Now he was unburdened with the responsibilities and wasn't gonna waste this opportunity on something as petty as revenge.

As he was lost in thought, Ryojin heard some noises nearby and decided to investigate. He followed the sounds until he reached the training ground, where disciples were engrossed in martial arts practice.

Ryojin watched them diligently. Disciples swung their swords downward, thrust spears, and engaged in rigorous physical training.

Ryojin thought to himself, "I guess there are still people left to carry on the guilds name, but without the necessary resources, it will be challenging. It's heartening to see them not giving up, even after facing so many hardships."

Among the disciples, one caught Ryojin's attention. The young man radiated a significant amount of Ki. The disciple's name was Shinra Reijin, a disciple of the Arcane guild learning martial arts using ki.

Ryojin noted to himself, "Whoa, he's talented. To have cultivated his Ki to such an advanced stage at his age is incredible, even with scarce resources. "

As Ryojin was standing observing the disciple, The disciple senses Ryojin's gaze and turns to look at him.

Ryojin murmured, "Why is he looking at me? What should I do? I'm not very good at social interactions. I guess I'll try to appear friendly."

Ryojin attempted to smile, but it seemed to have the opposite effect on the disciple, who found it unsettling and creepy.

The disciple approached Ryojin with a puzzled expression.

Shinra Reijin questioned, "Hey, what are you doing here? This is the sacred ground of our guild. We can't allow outsiders here. Wipe that creepy look off your face; how dare you stand on our grounds and mock us.

Ryojin thought to himself while being puzzled, "I'm sitting though.."

Shinra continued,"We might not be a big guild anymore, but we don't appreciate people mocking us, especially on our grounds. So, get out."

Ryojin was taken aback and tried to respond.

Ryojin stammered, "Huh? What...?"

Internally, Ryojin thought, "What? when did I mock him?"

Before he could clarify, Shinra continued.

Shinra declared while letting off some of his aura, "JUST GET OUT OF HERE BEFORE....."

However, their interaction was interrupted by the arrival of a man in his 30s or 40s, dressed as a martial arts instructor.

The man's name was Kiba Ryotsu and he was the martial arts instructor of the guild that taught their disciples martial arts and the utilization of ki.

Kiba Ryotsu asked, "What's going on here?"

Shinra quickly stopped spreading his aura and reported, "Nothing, sir. I was asking the outsider to leave the training ground."

Kiba inquired further looking serious knowing damn well about the ki had just released treating someone who didn't do anything, "WHY?"

Shinra explained calmly, "It seemed to me like he was mocking us, and as he was an outsider, I asked him to leave so we could train without distractions."

Kiba turned his attention to Ryojin, recognizing him

.

Kiba recalled, "Aren't you the kid we found in the woods? What was your name again?

Ryojin replied, "Uh, my name is Ryojin Yukimura."

Kiba questioned, "What are you doing here at our grounds?"

Ryojin explained, "I just came out of the room to get some fresh air, and as I was walking around, I happened to see the other disciples training. I was just watching. I'm sorry if I did something wrong. I'll go back now."

Kiba reassured him, "Alright, take some rest. I'm sorry for Shinra; he speaks like that to everyone, so don't take it to heart."

Ryojin nodded, casting a curious glance at Shinra, who still held a glare.

Ryojin thought to himself, "What the hell's wrong with that guy? Should I just kill him?"

Ryojin decided to leave the training ground and returned to Haruka's house.

Haruka greeted him, saying, "Oh, you're back. The food's ready."

Haruka had prepared a table filled with a generous serving of Miso pork cutlets.

Haruka asked, "Are you hungr...?"

She paused, noticing Ryojin's expression as he drooled over the Miso pork cutlets. A chuckle escaped her lips.

Haruka encouraged, "Come, sit down. There's plenty, so eat as much as you want."

Ryojin's eyes lit up with gratitude.

Ryojin replied, "Thank you for the food."

As he was about to dig in, someone entered the room. It was Shinra.

Shinra announced, "I'm home."

Shinra's eyes locked onto Ryojin, and Ryojin's gaze met his.

Simultaneously, they exclaimed, "YOU!!!"
