“-So I Sirzechs Lucifer The best big brother known to devil kind have scheduled you and your peerage a trip to the familiar forest!” My older brother states as he leaves this unscheduled meeting that my peerage were completely unprepared for
Though it has been a complete dare I say shit week not only has my father given my hand to marriage, he has chosen the single worse choice I Rias Gremory Heiress of the Ducal house Gremory is to be married to the third son, Not even the heir to the house
‘No matter what irrelevant information I tried telling Father he wouldn’t listen at all if I didn’t know about Risers “Relations” from Screecher the devil's version of Twitter I would have at least tried to make things work out
However, his behavior towards women is a huge no for me I don’t care what my future love looks like all men look the same to me all I want is to marry the person I fall in love with’
Akeno gently taps my shoulder before I can delve deeper into my thoughts “Rias we have around 3 hours before we must leave for the familiar forest” Akeno states as she offers me a cup of tea I glance around the room
I accept the tea from her as I observe the newly decorated club room for the school club I have formed with my peerage this is probably the only good thing I negotiated out of that stupid marriage contract “ The marriage must only take place after Rias gremory completes human university”
However, that was just a temporary fix I’m currently beginning my second year at Kuoh Academy I have had the rest of my peerage enrolled as well though for now kiba will just have to cross-dress I let a slight chuckle escape my lips as my eyes land upon kiba who is staring at the schoolgirls uniform he will be wearing for the upcoming year
I push my different plans to cancel this arranged marriage to the side as I begin to chat with my peerage about what they are looking to find as a familiar

MC POV:
Everything was spinning I tried to lift off the tree I found myself leaning up against however all I accomplished was stumbling and falling on the ground accepting my fate I just laid on the ground the cool grass tickled my face as I lay there trying to re-orientate myself
I tried to speak for my system but all I accomplished was biting my tongue as the stinging pain faded and the taste of iron began I tried mentally calling for my system
With the sound of a soft ping, I finally fainted only briefly seeing a window pop up in front of me
When I finally awoke the first thing I noticed was of course the system window in front of me
[system downloading 97%]
However, before I could focus on that I noticed a blurry figure just behind the screen as I focused on it the pop-up slowly started to disappear until just the status of the system update went toward the corner of my vision
Before I could admire the neat system trick the figure seemingly fed up with me ignoring it opened its mouth and as I watched a ball? Formed in its opened mouth
Once it started glowing I rolled away hearing the crackle of thunder and the smell of something burning I quickly got up to my feet stumbling on the tree roots that riddled the ground of this forest
I felt the beating of my heart in my ears “What in the hell was that” I mumbled in a panic feeling the cool evening air sting my parched throat
I observed my surroundings searching for the figure but something caught my attention first everything was tinted in an awful red while the trees had no leaves, not a single tree another weird thing about the trees was the fact they looked twisted
But something weirder was happening I felt a warm sensation creep along my hand I slowly looked over to see a snot-like blob engulfing my hand of course as a proud man I didn't scream it was simply a battle cry

Rias Gremory POV:
It had been 5 minutes since my peerage and I arrived at the familiar forest to find familiars we had already gone through the usual formalities introductions yadda yadda however as our guide showed us around I heard the strangest sound the guide said it was nothing but a potential familiars roar
However, to me, it sounded more akin to a woman shrieking in fright
(what the fuck is this a living booger? WHY WON’T IT COME OFF)
I whipped my head around searching for the voice that just sounded out from ‘Wait where did it sound from there is no one besides my peerage and the guide’
(ITS EATING MY FUCKING CLOTHES!!!!)
Just as I was trying to shake off the weird occurrence it happened again this time the voice sounded panicked
(I hate this stupid world first some crazy ass figure shoots lightning at me now I’m being forced fully stripped off my clothes)
The voice sounded rather aggrieved while I pity the male-sounding voice but cannot help but imagine his pitiful state in amusement as I snicker to myself I can hear the muffled sound of Akeno's laughter
