"Put your hands in the air and turn around slowly!" yelled Officer Bob. Luke started to put his hands up, turning around slowly. Officer Bob started to make his way towards Luke with the handcuffs already ready. Officer Edward whispered to his partner, "Don't you think we should wait for backup before we get closer?" But Officer Bob had already gone too far to hear him. After Officer Bob had gotten close enough, Luke lunged at him, but before he got close enough, Officer Bob pumped him full of lead! Officer Edward yelled, "Holy shit you just killed him!" Officer Bob turned around and frantically ran back to the cop's car to report what had happened. Once Officer Bob made it to the car, he grabbed the radio and said, "We caught up to the perpetrator and were about to arrest him, but he lunged at me, so I had to shoot him." Over the radio, Officer Bob heard, "OK, wait there for reinforcements." After that, nothing else. Officer Bob heard his partner yell, "Ahhhhhhh, help!" Before the scream cut off.

Five Minutes Earlier

Once Officer Bob had left, Officer Edwards couldn't shake the feeling that something was off. All of a sudden, Luke's eyes open, but they have no pupils, just pure darkness. Officer Edward felt a chill run down his spine and turned around. What he saw was the most beautiful thing—a being who had transcended humanity. The being spoke "Esxxq." Officer Edwards felt compelled to kneel and worship this being. Luke, or what used to be Luke, slowly walked towards the kneeling officer Edwards and reached out to touch his head. Not even a second after Luke had touched Officer Edward's head, he screamed bloody murder, and then blood splattered all over the alleyway. The being then whispered, "This realm is not suitable for growth." The other persona then transformed into Luke's half-abyssal form and willed a portal to appear. Officer Bob ran back but was a second too slow to catch Luke's other persona stepping into the portal. The alleyway was stained with Officer Edwards's blood, which caused Officer Bob to throw up. He had never seen anything like this in his 20 years at the department.

Five minutes later

The backup finally showed up, just too late. When they saw the scene in the alleyway, they asked Bob what had happened after everything he had already reported. Officer Bob was still shocked by the death of his partner but still told all that he knew: "Idk, after I had shot the suspect for lungeing at me and reported it, I left Officer Edwards here to stay guard and make sure no one wonders here. I never would have thought he would have ended up like this."

A portal appeared above Luke's hometown and outstepped Luke's other persona. If you listened really closely, you could hear him whispering, "I'm sorry, little one, this is necessary." He then started to chant in an ancient, almost hypnotic language,

"ews yefybr sw uynvbcv, vfhn hv asyv,

uynvbcv ayjuz, lsih xszcv iqwsyv.

yjcnuqddf'r wihl, rnfvszr hxcv,

vfhnqfghbr ziggfgfg, wsfghb erfhhrxxcv."

Black clouds started to form from the middle of nowhere and gathered to form a shadowy snake head with black flames burning all over its body and lighting flashing in its incorporable form. The alternate persona ordered, "Crash down upon that town and bring the might of the nethers with you!" The illusionary snake crashed down, and all of a sudden the town was being burned by black flames that wouldn't go out. The town was in a panic, the police and firefighters were all hands on deck, with every squad out looking for people trapped, but unknown to them, the worst had yet to come. All of a sudden, the skies flashed with purple, and before anyone could even react, the town was vaporized. Unnoticeable to the naked eye, there was a lot of black smoke flowing both up and down, but the alternate persona was prepared,

His eyes glowed with a light blue color, letting him see the massive amount of death energy there is in the area. Surprisingly, Luke's alternate persona smiled once he saw how much death energy there was: "I didn't think this town would have so many people; it looks like times have changed." Then he started to prepare to cast another spell,

"ews rnfvszr' gbahfxg, falasfy cfaszfl, fxxgfh,

sxxc usd falas, ygu vfhnqfghbr vhfz uyfh.

zjnvb znjrxcvfg zmzvr hv hxjxcu hjufghb sw syv,

iqpejy usd vgxnvbr zncvg bluecvjfghb iqwsyv."

All the smoke abruptly started to get absorbed into Luke's mouth, during which the gunshot guns were healing at a speed visible to the naked eye. Once Luke's body was fully healed, the rest of the death energy was going to be used to return Luke's soul to his body. Now that Luke's alternate persona saved Luke's body, it was time to recall his soul to his body. The other persona started to chant,

"ews rnfvszr' chfrx, zncvg vfhnqfghbr nvbhjcfghb,

rsiyzgfpe farsyiujik, sdfy sih yjcfghb.

whsb vgfnvb'r gbahfxg, vhfz wmznvb usd yjcnu,

hfghbumzg, hxcgz, ews vfhnfghbu qjcnu."

A blue light started to form in front of Luke's chest. The glow it gave off was an otherworldly glow, like it didn't belong here. Once all of Luke's soul had gathered in front of his chest, it rushed into his chest and sent a wave of energy through Luke's body, waking the dormant organs. The other persona hadn't released control to Luke yet, but he only had a few minutes of control left. The surrounding area had just been destroyed, so the government would send people to check the land soon. The other persona didn't want them to find Luke, so before he gave control back to Luke, he cast one last spell using the remaining energy,

"ews rnfvszr' gbahfxg, falasfy cfaszfl, fxxgfh,

sxxc usd falas, ygu vfhnqfghbr vhfz uyfh.

zjnvb znjrxcvfg zmzvr hv hxjxcu hjufghb sw syv,

A giant structure with a demon face appeared. At the bottom of the structure, there was a glowing orange portal that the other persona jumped into before relinquishing control back to Luke.

30 minutes later

A group of government officers wearing unknown uniforms arrived on the scene to investigate what happened and if this was a magic event or not. What seemed like the leader of the group raised his hands, chanting while drawing runes in the air,

"dfgejwxqww dfgyvtere, jkjiy'w jkvxfgeafhv vvmvhh,

ymetfg tm jkjiy, teterevh jkty dfgmbhz.

xvug'w msemtejkw dfgejwxqwfc, wevztdfgw wdfgjhh,

The scene before changed in the blink of an eye, revealing what had happened not even an hour ago. Every squad member gasped once they saw what had occurred. The thought that one man was evil and cruel enough to evaporate a town in an instant frightened them to their core. The group split up to search the surrounding area due to their leader running out of mana before they could see Luke disappear into the abyssal gateway. After a few minutes of searching, they discovered Detective Smith covered by a glowing yellow shield that gave off a holy aura. The agent who found Detective Smith reported his discovery to his supervisor and slowly approached to secure Detective Smith. Once the agent had gotten a foot away from the shield, it dispelled it, and Detective Smith raised his voice and said in a holy, perfect voice, "Take care of this one; he will be important to the safety of the future." Then he collapsed. The agent's superior arrived and noticed that Detective Smith had no magical presence, meaning he had never been in contact with magic, so how did he survive? The superior agent asked the agent who found him, and from his findings, he deduced that some sort of otherworldly being had possessed Detective Smith to deliver the message. The supervising agent ordered Detective Smith to be carried and all geared up to be packed up in an hour, ready to move out and leave.
