[There are six stages of spell mastery:

1)Foundation:
-At this initial stage, the spellcaster learns the fundamental theories, incantations, and wand movements associated with the spell. They understand the basics of what the spell does and how to cast it, although the execution may be inconsistent and lack finesse. The spell caster needs proper incantation, wand movement, concentration, and a wand, obviously.

2)Apprentice:
-During the apprentice stage, the spellcaster gains a better grasp of the spell's intricacies. They can consistently cast the spell with more accuracy and achieve the intended effects. The spell caster needs proper incantation, wand movement, and a wand.

3)Adept:
-As the spellcaster progresses to the adept stage, their understanding of the spell deepens. They can cast the spell with a high degree of precision, achieving the desired outcome reliably and efficiently. They can adapt the spell to different situations, adjusting its power or focus. The spell caster needs proper wand movement, and a wand to perform the spell.

4)Expert:
-At the expert stage, the spellcaster has mastered the spell, showing exceptional skill and finesse in its execution. They can cast the spell with minimal effort, using less magical energy while achieving powerful effects. The spell caster only needs a wand to perform the spell.

5)Master:
-The master stage represents the pinnacle of spell mastery for a particular spell. The spellcaster can cast the spell effortlessly, almost reflexively, achieving exceptional results each time. They have a deep understanding of the spell's principles, enabling them to innovate and refine the spell further, creating unique variations. Wandless, chantless, and almost instinctual use of this spell.

6)Grandmaster:
-The grandmaster stage is a level achieved by very few spellcasters. At this stage, the individual has not only mastered the spell but has also contributed significantly to its advancement and understanding. They may have developed entirely new variations or ways to cast the spell, pushing the boundaries of its potential.]

'So spell mastery is a thing now huh? I ain't got a clue as to what that is anyway.'

Shrugging off the info that couldn't get into her head, she skipped to the next topic of question. The inventory or rather the 'Potions' and their grades.

***

[Five grades of potion quality, ranging from lowest to highest:

1)Standard Quality:
-Standard-quality potions meet the basic requirements for safety and efficacy. They are generally effective for common purposes but may lack potency or have a shorter duration of effect. These potions are typically suitable for minor ailments or simple tasks.

2)Good Quality:
-Good-quality potions are above the standard grade and provide a more effective and reliable outcome. They have a balanced potency and duration of effect, making them suitable for a variety of magical applications. Good-quality potions are often used for common healing or enhancing needs.

3)High Quality:
-High-quality potions are superior in potency and effectiveness compared to standard and good-quality potions. They deliver strong and consistent results, often achieving their intended purpose rapidly and with a longer-lasting effect. These potions are commonly used for more critical healing, enhancing magical abilities, or addressing complex magical conditions.

4)Exceptional Quality:
-Exceptional-quality potions are at the pinnacle of potion quality. They are meticulously crafted, utilizing the finest ingredients and precise brewing techniques. These potions offer powerful and highly effective results with minimal side effects, setting them apart in terms of potency, duration, and reliability. Exceptional-quality potions are reserved for challenging magical ailments, critical situations, or enhancing magical abilities to an advanced degree.

5)Masterwork Quality:
-Masterwork-quality potions represent the highest achievable level of potion quality. They are rare, highly sought after, and crafted by the most skilled and experienced potion-makers. Masterwork potions are the epitome of potency, effectiveness, and safety. They deliver exceptional, long-lasting effects with utmost precision, making them invaluable for the most critical magical needs, complex healing, or profound magical enhancements.]

So she had a couple of High-Quality and Good-Quality potions already and if her memories served her well, then the Pepperup Potions were for common fever and such. Healing Potion or maybe the essence of dittany as they are referred to, was a diluted version of dittany, a powerful healing sap.

Oh, it seems that her memories did have a bit of potion master left in them.

Quickly reading the potions division, she clicked on the 'Artifacts' and their grade division.

[Five grades of an Artifact, ranging from lowest to highest:

1)Standard Quality Artifact:
-Basic magical item, meeting minimum efficacy and functionality requirements. They make use of simple magical effects or minor enhancements and are often crafted using common magical materials. Generally accessible to novice or intermediate artifact creators.

2)Good Quality Artifact:
-Above standard, providing a more notable magical effect or enhancement. They possess moderately enhanced magical effects, more noticeable than standard quality, and are crafted using a combination of common and slightly rarer magical materials. Creating these requires a higher level of skill and understanding of artifact creation.

3)High Quality Artifact:
-A superior magical item with significant magical capabilities. Potent magical effects or substantial enhancements, garner attention for their effectiveness. These are crafted using rare magical materials or intricate processes, setting them apart in quality. Creating these represents a notable achievement in artifact creation.

4)Exceptional Quality Artifact:
-Outstanding and highly valued magical item, sought after by magical communities. They possess remarkably potent magical effects or versatile enhancements, making them highly sought after. These are crafted using extremely rare and unique magical materials or exceptionally complex processes. Crafting them represents a significant leap in magical artistry and craftsmanship.

5)Masterwork Quality Artifact:
-The epitome of magical artifacts, renowned and revered worldwide for their exceptional craftsmanship and power. These artifacts possess unparalleled magical effects and abilities and are often considered works of art in the magical world. These are crafted using mythical or one-of-a-kind magical materials or ancient, arcane techniques. The crown jewel of these items' importance is that they hold immense historical, cultural, or magical significance, often associated with legendary figures or events.]

Kay, that's all great and good but what does it matter to her?

A good question and all it tells her is that she was now in possession of several Good Quality Artifacts, somewhat rare but still relatively common for a noble family.

The invisibility cloak was just like its name suggested it to be, an item that made her invisible when under it. Not a great quality as well, Grade 2 is barely enough for an item to be a little more effective than a concealment charm. A beech wood wand, standard practice equipment for non-registered magical students. And by 'registered', she meant those who are officially listed in the Ministry's records and receive their official wand.

World-clock? Nothing but an item that showed you the time of the place where you are at, basically it was a clock with permission to GPS locating in a mobile phone.

[The magical currency system is designed to cater to the needs of witches and wizards in this unique society, providing a medium of exchange for magical goods, services, and transactions. The primary magical currency used is based on a system of coins and banknotes, managed and regulated by Gringotts Wizarding Bank.

1)Galleon (₲):
-The Galleon is the highest denomination and is worth the most. It is a large, thick gold coin, approximately the size of a modern-day U.S. silver dollar. The coin is adorned with intricate engravings, including a serial number and various magical markings on the edge. The front typically features a depiction of a wizard and the word "Gringotts," while the back showcases a magical creature, often a Griffin or a phoenix.

2)Sickle (ʛ):
-The Sickle is a medium-value silver coin, slightly smaller and thinner than the Galleon. It has a knut-sized hole in the center and is decorated with magical symbols and runes. The front usually depicts a wizard's face and the word "Gringotts," while the back displays various magical symbols and the numeral "17" representing the 17 Sickles needed to make a Galleon.

3)Knut (K):
-The Knut is the smallest denomination and is a small, relatively plain bronze coin, similar in size to a U.S. cent. It features a simple design, often with the serial number, and is stamped with the phrases "Knut" and "Gringotts Bank" on the front and back.

The conversion rates are standardized, allowing for easy conversion between the various denominations. Specifically, one Galleon is equivalent to 17 Sickles or 493 Knuts. The wizarding community often uses these conversions for everyday transactions.

Banknotes: In addition to coins, the wizarding world also uses banknotes, although their specific denominations and designs are not elaborated to the public. Banknotes come in various denominations and feature notable magical figures, symbols, or magical creatures. These are usually used when large-scale transactions take place.

Forging and Enchantments: The creation and forging of wizarding currency are highly regulated and controlled to prevent counterfeiting. Gringotts Bank, in conjunction with the Ministry of Magic, employs advanced magical techniques to ensure the authenticity and value of the coins.

Goblin Forging Expertise: The Galleons, Sickles, and Knuts are primarily forged by goblins, renowned for their craftsmanship. They use their advanced magical skills to imbue the coins with protective enchantments that make them resistant to duplication.

Anti-Counterfeiting Charms: The coins are enchanted with anti-counterfeiting spells and charms. These enchantments make it nearly impossible for individuals to replicate or create fake wizarding currency.

Goblin-Maintained Security: Gringotts Bank employs goblins to closely monitor and regulate the currency's creation, distribution, and exchange. This ensures that only authentic, officially minted coins are in circulation.]

Even the monetary system of the wizarding society was far more advanced than one would expect of a hidden society. The wizards took no part in the financial system, instead, they left it all to the Goblins. Greedy little creatures who would do anything for a bit of shiny metal or precious jewels.

According to her understanding, a Galleon(₲) was roughly worth around €48 to €50, a Sickle(ʛ) was worth around €5 to €2.94, and a Knut was worth around €0.10 to €0.15. The value remained the same throughout the year, the value dipped or rose according to the muggle economy but the wizarding world's economy was always consistent.

She roughly had 150 Galleons, 11 Sickles, and 20 Knuts worth of wizarding currency. Quite a lot in comparison to the muggle economy, roughly around €7,464.4. A friggin lot of money during the Year 1984, may very well be worth roughly 40K Euros during the year she died. A lot more than she had in her savings. (*Cry*)

Also, she had another 250 Euros in muggle currency. Her parents saw it worth their while to have access to muggle services in case they found themselves in need of their services.

Every level-up features an extra reward, for every 'main class' level. Her main class was a witch and the first tier (Novice) level up would provide her with '1' spell point, some money, and an item that may range from a spell book to a broom. As the tier increases (Apprentice Witch to Student Witch and so on) so does the reward, a tier 2 class's reward would be '2' spell points, more money, and a better item.

Now to explain the spell points. A 'spell point', as its name suggests, can be used to increase a spell's mastery level. To increase a spell's mastery from lv1 to lv2, she would need 2 Spell points.

Leveling up secondary or Sub-Classes is an entirely different matter. Firstly, there are no limits to the number of sub-classes that can be changed by a wizard. Someone could be an Auror and a death-eater at the same time, perhaps even an Unspeakable too. Secondly, leveling up a Sub-Class will reward '1' Skill Point per level that can be used to level up sub-class skills and an item regarding that class ranging from a book to a tool.

Looking at her stat sheet, she realized that there were no spells that could be upgraded with the spell points she had on her hands. But there was something she could busy herself with for the moment.

She spends the rest of the day, exploring the mansion and being mesmerized by the tapestries she finds while exploring every nook and cranny of the sprawling Lefevre mansion, each corner of which reveals a piece of the family's history.

As the golden hues of the sunset painted the sky, she received a call to dinner from Tiffy, the devoted house elf. The elegant dining room was adorned with a grand crystal chandelier adorned with colored glass and jewels. A giant (magically created) Sapphire shone at the very center of this magnificent piece of décor, lighting up the entire room with its blue hue.

The center of the room was occupied by a long, polished Cherrywood table covered with a crisp, white linen tablecloth to highlight the natural beauty of the cherry wood. Along with elegant cloth napkins in a coordinating color or a subtle pattern that complements cherry wood's warm tones.

It was adorned with fine porcelain dinnerware with intricate patterns and a classic design along with Shiny, polished silver flatware for a touch of opulence. The Centerpiece was a fresh flower arrangement in a crystal vase as a focal point, using roses, peonies, and lilies for an elegant touch. The table was topped with crystal glassware for wine, water, and other beverages, adding a touch of luxury.

The chairs were decorated with silk sashes, ribbons, and floral arrangements that complemented the overall table setting.

Seated across the table were her parents, Isabelle and Hector, they were wearing casual clothing with her mother covering her face with a veil and a nightgown sewn from fine silk and her father was wearing a plain white shirt along with olive-colored trousers.

Victoire felt a sense of surrealism, a jolt of pleasure, and a sense of comfort at the sensation of parental love. She had been an orphan and then almost homeless and then a dead fish.

She marveled at the rich tapestry of the room—the bustling hall of the mansion was decorated by a plethora of paintings showcasing witches and wizards dining in the very same room or cooking even.

At first, their conversation was pretty awkward but soon but soon the conversation flowed easily, filling the room with laughter and stories of magical escapades. Finally, the dinner was served.

A crystal glassware materialized in front of her parents and it began to sparkle as Champagne started to erupt from within the glass. A drink to begin the evening with.

She was presented with the Entrée (Starter) and pissaladière (Onion and Anchovy Tart), a traditional savory tart made with caramelized onions, anchovies, and olives.

By the time she finished eating the starters, her parents too finished with their Champagne. The empty dishes disappeared and the main course materialized in front of them.

The Plat Principal, or the Main Course, was 'Coq au Vin' (Chicken braised in Red Wine), a classic French dish featuring chicken cooked in red wine with mushrooms and onions. Along with Ratatouille, A flavorful vegetable medley made with zucchini, eggplant, bell peppers, and tomatoes.

The Accompagnement, or the Side Dish, was Pommes de Terre Dauphinoises (Potatoes Au Gratin) made with sliced potatoes baked with cream, garlic, and cheese. Fromage or the cheese course was a selection of French cheeses, including Brie, Camembert, and Roquefort, served with fresh baguette.

Followed by Crème Brûlée, as the dessert, which is a classic French dessert featuring rich, creamy custard with a caramelized sugar top. And' Tarte aux Fruits' (Fruit Tart), a sweet tart filled with a variety of fresh, seasonal fruits.

She finished with the dessert and her parents began with the Digestif (Digestif), a glass filled with Calvados (Apple Brandy) which is a traditional French apple brandy, enjoyed as a digestif.

Victoire was presented with the Café (Coffee), a cup of rich French coffee to conclude the meal.

By the time she was finished with the meal, she had an extremely stuffed stomach. A full French meal was something she hadn't had in quite a while, not since she dated that elementary school teacher.

Ah, Matilda, the best cook around the damned neighborhood. They had dated for a year, the longest time she ever stuck to a relationship. And their parting had been just as hard, she had moved on to a high school that offered her a post. She was not ready to move on and Matilda had to dump her because of it. And here she was, a ten-year-old reminiscing about her past intimate adventures.

Isabelle, quite concerned about her daughter's strange expression, gently mentioned,

"My dear, a healer from Hôpital Sorcière is scheduled to visit you tomorrow for a check-up. We want to ensure you're in perfect health after the accident."

Victoire nodded in acknowledgment, appreciating her parents' care and concern for her well-being. It felt comforting to know that in this new life, she was surrounded by love and attention, much different from the carnal love that those women expressed back when she was still a bartender.

"So, dear, is there anything you want to tell me, anything at all."

Isabelle made a rather unsuccessful attempt at starting a conversation but unfortunately, Victoire and Hector were just about the most stoic people she had ever known.

After the dinner pleasantry, Victoire retreated to her room, a brand new sanctuary claimed by her to contemplate her thoughts. The warm glow of the lamp bathed the room in a soft light, creating a cozy ambiance. The book she had just received from the system, a book on the basics of magic lay on the nightstand, its pages delved into the basics of charms and 'eldritch' works or magical combination, a more common word to describe it.

She picked up the book and began to read,

As the words danced before her eyes, she found a certain thirst for knowledge take root in her heart. This... was a pleasant sensation, and so was the knowledge that this new life had offered her a chance to embrace the desire of a want that she had never imagined before. Wanting something had long ceased to be an emotion that she felt, and so did the desire for progress.

She had read through the first two chapters of her book and was just about to reach the spell section. However, as the night progressed, the gentle lullaby of these words cradled her, and she eventually drifted into a peaceful slumber. In her dreams, whispers of destiny danced in the starlit sky, beckoning her toward the path that awaited her—an extraordinary journey through the world of magic. Perhaps she may even be able to hook up with a Veela when she is an adult of course.
