We came with Alexia to a cabin near the fields.

She was trying to help the children who were working in the fields so that they could study without having to go as far away as possible.

"There are some children who want to study ...... but can't."

Alexia is looking somewhere far away.

She may have something on her mind.

"Certainly, there are a lot of children who are just trying to make ends meet."

In fact, even in my territory, some of them are converted to labor force.

But it's still a lot better than starving for lack of food.

The children in this territory seem to be very pleasant," Alexia said happily.

Alexia was pleased to see this.

Then there was a boy coming toward Alexia.

The boy with a serious look on his face and a big smile on his face was Al.

"Come over here, titty sis,"

 Yeah, Al was still Al.

I couldn't help but smile at the familiar voice.

"What's wrong?"

"I'm finally done . My farm."

"Well, well, congratulations. Shall we go check it out together?'

At first Alexia looks at me and confirms it.

Naturally, there was no reason to refuse her from me, and I was curious because I couldn't imagine a field that Al would be that happy with.

It was quite a development from Al, who thought meat could be made in the fields.

I wonder if this is also due to the influence of Alexia's arrival here?

         ◇ ◇ ◇

I wish I could return my impressions .......

When I got to the field, I couldn't help but think about it.

There it was, a field with many little lambs planted in it.

"Oh my goodness, so many grew up."

"Yes, I've been trying to find out how to get them to come to me."

Alexia put her hand on her cheek and praised him.

 Al smiled happily.

A field of lambs spreads out in front of me.

I grabbed Alexia's hand and pulled away from Al.

"How could this happen? Al's common sense is getting a bad deal again!"

'It's important to respect independence, after all."

'But there's a limitation! Why are there lambs growing in the field?"

"Is it ...... hard work?"

"How can you grow lambs in a field with your hard work!"

"But if we could get meat from the fields, it would solve our food situation in one fell swoop, wouldn't it?"

 I gulp at Alexia's words.

It is true that barely any vegetables grow here, and the land is barren to begin with.

The current lack of people and the fact that mercenaries are hunting monsters are helping to provide for the situation, but there is no telling when that will cease.

It is possible to buy things with money, but it is not very pleasant to leave it to them, as if the fate of the land is in someone else's hands.

In this case, the unlimited meat was in a sense a blessing for the territory.

Except for its unusual appearance, it is .......

"Once you take it, it doesn't grow back, does it?"

It is a living thing, so it is not something you can just plant a seed in the ground.

I think it would be better to let them grow in the pasture instead of planting them in the field.

"I think you're still a bit naive, brother. Watch this."

 Al took a small lamb.

When a hole appeared where the small, fat lamb had been planted, Al threw something into it.

'It's the white one I made up last time .'

Al looked happy, but this flour, not at all tasty, would have been something that would have accelerated the growth of the crop but had no further effect.

'Now the next day you'll have meat planted here again."

In a way, this just looks like a field, but it's just a trap set up to hunt prey, I suppose.

When I think of it that way, a little common sense comes into play.

If I didn't see so many lambs planted right in front of me .......

Or rather, I see a large one in the back of the field.

"...... why are you even planted there!"

 It was a real one.

"I knew it, the food here is delicious."

"Isn't it amazing? This food will last us for a week."

 Al looked happy.

The Ram also looks happy, but it seems to me that he only thinks of it as food.

He doesn't seem to be bothered by it, and in the event of a real emergency, there are some things that can't be helped.

It would be just as well to let him do as he pleases during the vacations, since the rest of the time it would be a lot easier to move around.

Well, it's okay. So, do you know why all the lambs are flocking here, La ......?

'Nah, I don't know!

I thought he had figured out how to gather these lambs since he said he had finished the field, but apparently not.

"Perhaps they are coming here because of their magical powers. These meats also feel a slight magical power. In a sense, they are like spirits."

I remember that he once said something about Ram being the spirits of meat.

Spirit, do you know much about it?"

"I have met a great spirit before, when I was just a little girl. . ......"

I don't know why she's touching her chest, but it was when she was a child, right?

I was ready to silently listen to what she had to say.
