The Ear-piercing alarms resounded throughout The Secret Mutant Prison.

A red alarm light flashed inside the dimly lit corridor, the flickering light illuminated the tunnel in scarlet, and a droplet of water flowed down from the wall, which looked particularly eerie under the light of the alarm light, like blood falling to the ground.

This old facility built at an unknown time hadn't been this 'lively' for a long time, ever since President X ordered the rebuilding of this place, no one had dared to cause trouble here at all for several years. Even if there were a few disobedient escapees, they would basically be quickly recaptured by Warden Fisk.

The soldiers here had gotten used to taunting these mutant monsters, no matter how powerful these monsters could be outside, but here they had been trained into the most obedient dogs.

But today, the situation seemed to have been reversed.

The soldiers who were awakened by the sound of the alarm did not have time to put on their clothes, they knew what this alarm represented, it was an alarm that someone had opened the prison privately without authorization to release the prisoners. If these monsters were released, it would be troublesome.

Only to see, Just ten meters away from the passage gate, Warden Fisk's huge body lay limply on the ground with a big hole in his belly. On him, mutants like Beast, Nightcrawler, and Toad who were originally locked on the third floor were feasting with great enjoyment.

"Cell M3's mutants are getting away, open fire! Definitely don't let them get close, quick!" A man who looked like a squad leader hurriedly said, but from his trembling voice, he had long been scared out of his wits.

The muzzles of the guns spewed flames, and countless bullets struck towards those few mutants like a storm.

The beast growled, seemingly angry that there was even someone disturbing his feeding, his wild eyes filled with wildness stared deathly at these humans who dared to attack him, his sharp teeth rubbing together, making a heart-pounding sound.

"Suppress them! Don't let them, don't let them come over...!!!"

On the other side.

Austin, who was still opening the prison door on the third floor, had his ears slightly twitching, and vaguely heard the noise coming from the upper floors. From the sound of the alarms, and it seemed that the first batch of mutants who had rushed out had already exchanged fire with those soldiers.

Austin was not worried at all about whether these mutants could beat those soldiers or not. Although the powers of these mutants were weakened in this universe, they were not something that could be killed by ordinary guns. Of course, if someone unfortunately died, they only had themselves to blame.

After releasing the last prisoner of the third floor, Austin's pace stopped at the side of Kitty Pryde, this world's Kitty seems to be in her twenties, older than Pietro, very different from the young and energetic Kitty in Austin's memory.

Austin's impression of the ShadowKat, apart from the manga, was only that little girl who appeared in the movie. He had hoped she would play ShadowKat again, but heard that the actress later had gender reassignment surgery, so it seemed she wouldn't be able to return in the movies.

Without continuing to ruminate, Austin lowered his head and looked at Kitty. "Need Help?"

Kitty slowly opened her eyes, looking at Austin with a gaze filled with all sorts of complicated emotions, and finally, she spoke softly. "You can't help me, this is a nightmare."

Upon hearing this, Austin closed his eyes and sighed deeply, then slowly placed his left hand equipped with the Iron Man armor on the iron pillar that Kitty had fused with.

As Kitty watched Austin's movements, she seemed to have sensed Austin's purpose, and instead of refusing, she also closed her eyes just like Austin and quietly waited for what would happen next.

With the boost from the Iron Man arm armor, Austin used great strength to directly rip the iron pillar out of the cell.

Probably due to Kitty's mutant ability, Warden Fisk did not make the cell with especially sturdy material like the monsters' ones, but with the most basic material instead. This made Austin's violent demolition exceptionally smooth.

Hearing this sound, even Austin's hands couldn't help but tremble a little.

Kitty used her last bit of strength to utter a word, then breathed no more.

Austin knew that she was beyond saving. For the fusion of her body with the iron pillar due to the failure of mutant abilities, not to mention himself, even if the Tony Stark of this world was alive, there would be no way in a short time. Rather than leaving her here, it was better to end her suffering sooner.

"I'm late," Austin muttered, not knowing who he was talking to, and immediately Austin reopened his eyes, only this time, Austin's eyes were unusually determined.

Following the hallway all the way up to the second floor, where the battle was still continuing, those soldiers were outnumbered and held powerful firepower in their hands, which made those mutants released by Austin surprisingly suppressed for a while, and they could only hide behind the bunker and didn't dare to risk their heads.

During this time, powerful mutants like Nightcrawler and Beast launched several charges, but without cooperation and fighting alone, they were all beaten back by the soldiers and the reinforced guards.

The soldiers knew that the moment these mutants escaped, the entire prison had been enveloped by the electric shield, which meant that even they were trapped in this prison and could not escape at all.

So if they couldn't kill these mutant freaks, then everyone here was trapped!

Mutants are not fools, after knowing that the other side's firepower is strong, they immediately hid, seemingly looking for an opportunity to launch a surprise attack, while the soldiers also stopped shooting and stood firm, in the case of not knowing if there is no backup, random firing is undoubtedly a waste of bullets.

Because of this, both sides actually tacitly stopped fighting, and neither side made any rash moves.

But just at this time, the field of vision went black, the light bulbs of the entire tunnel lost their light in an instant as if someone had pinched off the power supply. Most people lost their vision in this moment, with only pitch darkness before their eyes!
