Chapter 8:

Next Day...

I woke up feeling a little out of place,
remembering everything that happened, I got up from the bed
my head hurt a little from all the events that have happened.
But theres no time for that. Today I must sign up to the adventurers guild.

Ok lets do this. I got up and got ready, and went down stairs
"Goodmorning! How are you feeling?" The owner of the Inn asked.

"Im feeling excited today!" I said.
"Really? Do you have any plans?" she said.

"I plan to sign up for the adventurers guild" I said as I sat down at one of the available tables.

"Huh? But you're so young!" she said.
"I need funds to live, and thats were ill get them" I responded.

"Well I guess thats logical..." She said.

"Oh! Do you happen to know were the adventurers guild is?" I asked.
I need to get to the adventurers guild, the only problem is.. I don't know were it is.

"Yes, it should be a couple blocks from here...." The lady told me were the adventurers guild was.
"Thank you so much!" I said as she put a plate of food on the table.

"Woah! Breakfeast looks good today!" I said.
"Im glad you like it, Do you want to ask anything else?" She asked.

"No that will be all thank you" I answered.

After I finished my Breakfeast I headed out,
the streets were packed with people there, many stalls were set up by the road.

As I walked many people reached to advertise their products and food,
but I just ignored them and kept walking.
I arrived at the adventurers building.

A giant and round building, stood there, with the sign.
"I guess im here!" I said

I headed in, opening the door and walked inside.
The inside of white marble shined, its the capitals adventurers guild, of course its supposed to be good!

I got several looks, I looked around the place and saw many adventurers.

Some with wizard hats and staffs, some with swords and armor, and others just brought their fists.
Theres a wild variety of adventurers here huh.
I walked straight ahead to the reception.

The counter being taller than me by just a bit.
I reached the counter were a young lady was.

"Um.." I said.
I noticed that the lady didn't see me.
"Hello?" I asked.
She still hasn't seen me.
"Hey You!" I yelled.

She finally noticed and leaned over the counter to see me.
"Oh my! Whose cute child got lost?" she said.

"Hey! Im here to become an adventurer" I said loudly at the girl.
Ugh! I hate being a child!

"B-but you're just a kid" she said.

"I don't care, give me the sign sheet!" I said.

"Wait a minute, ill come back" she said.
She opened the door behind her and went in.

A couple of minute went by and she came down with an old man,
his beard was white and long.

I can tell this old man is wise and is the guild leader I assume.
"I brought our branch manager, he will take it from here." she said.

"You're right! He's just a little boy! Ha ha ha!" the man said laughing.
"Little boy.. Tell me, do you really want to become an adventurer?" he said.

"Well That's what I came here for." I said with an annoying face.
"Ha Ha! Ok kid, only if you want to" the branch manager gave me the signup paper
Name, Age, Gender, Race, and Abilities huh.

I filled everything in except for abilities,
what should I write for abilities, I have yet to understand
the power levels in this world.

Ok! I got it, ill put lightning magic.
I finished writing and gave the branch manager the paper.
"Adrian Von Veridian huh, so you're a noble. And a ' curse ' at that. I'll give you a chance" he said.
"And Lightning Magic.. Come with me"

I went with him to a room, the room was more like a training area.
It had a round dome at the top, the room was round.

"I will be testing you myself." he said.
"Ill count to 3, then you will attack me with all you got. ready?" he said.

"Yeah!" I yelled.

What should I do?
