“Do Mr. Shen usually takes light breakfast?” Li Na asks Hwang Ma curiously. She is pretty serious in taking notes on Shen Yun Tian’s habit.
“Yes, Young Madam. But sometime he will request porridge whenever the morning is raining”. Hwang Ma replies while her hand is agile handling the foods.
“Raining? Why?” Li Na looks puzzled.
“I don’t know. It’s just the Young Master’s habit from young”. Since its just his habit, Li Na just let it passed.
“How many people work in this house?” Li Na starts to ask about the household matter. She wants to involve in managing the house.
“It’s not many Young Madam. About five people including me. Young Master doesn’t like the house to be so crowd. The cleaners will come in the morning and left after finished cleaning”. Hwang Ma explains.
Li Na carefully listens to all of the details. Amidst all that, Li Na doesn’t aware that there is a pair of a gentle eye is looking behind them warmly.
Shen Yun Tian had just bath and fully dressed in his work attire as he goes down the stairs. Since he heard the conversation between Li Na and Hwang Ma, his feet bring him to the kitchen.
Looking at Li Na’s face that full of interest and curiously asking the question about his matter to Hwang Ma produce a pleasant feeling that keeps spreading in his heart.
Maybe it’s true that she wants to start working on their relationship just like what she had told him the night before. Shen Yun Tian chose to believe in her. No. He wants to believe in her.
“Ahem” Shen Yun Tian attracts Li Na’s attention.
Li Na looks back and sees the well-clothed Shen Yun Tian. Li Na knows that all his suit is specially tailored according to his measurement. Thus his suit is perfectly lining his body. It makes him looks so desirable.
Ignoring her erratic heart beating, Li Na evades her eyes and looks at his face but it’s making her even redder. The warm in his eyes makes her heart trembles.
She never knows that his eye can emit that kind of gentleness. Even though he is not smiling its enough for Li Na to know that he is happy. She doesn’t know what he thought about but it must be a very pleasing one.
Automatically, Li Na smiles in response. “Let’s go to the dining table, Mr. Shen”. He nodded in silent.
Li Na helps Hwang Ma to bring the food to the dinner table and set it in front of him. Shen Yun Tian stares all of her action and expression. It makes her feel nervous but she continues to disregard his eyes though she cannot hide her red face.
After makes sure everything is prepared, Li Na sits opposite Shen Yun Tian and smiles. “Let’s eat the food, Mr. Shen”.
While they are eating, Li Na doesn’t dare to take a peek on Shen Yun Tian’s face. Right now, everything that he did looks so attractive. Even the way he eats, able to make her become breathless.
Such as when the food enters his opened thin lips. And the way he chews the food in his mouth slowly. As well when his throat moving up and down as he swallowing. This makes she remembers how sexy Shen Yun Tian was while exercising before.
‘Gulp’ Li Na couldn’t help but unconsciously swallowed but that abrupt movement makes her chocking hard.
Shen Yun Tian is startled and he immediately hands out a glass of water to her as he walks behind Li Na and pats her back gently.
While drinks the water, Li Na notices that the glass is not hers. She drinks that water from his glass. Doesn’t this mean an indirect kiss? That thought makes her Li Na coughs again.
“Are you okay?” He asks worriedly. His hand never stop patting Li Na. Li Na nodded but the tears squeezed from her eyes and that flushed face are not convincing him.
“If you are not feeling well, I am going to call the doctor”. He suggests.
Li Na shakes her head.“No, You don’t have to. I am fine”
“Are you sure?” Shen Yun Tian looks at her.
“Yes. Don’t worry”. Li Na manages to smile after bring down her heart rate.
Realize that Li Na’s face returns to her normal color, Shen Yun Tian releases a sigh of relief.
After their breakfast finished, Shen Yun Tian gets up and getting ready to go working. Li Na observes on how he slowly straightened his jacket and collar. Then he wears a highly sophisticated design watch on his left wrist.
She cannot help but feels it too attractive when he buttoned his sleeves. Those muscles although is hidden behind the jacket, it still can trigger her heart.
“Lina, you can go out of the house but I will assign Uncle Li to drive you. Is it alright?” Since he had decided to believe in her, those house restrictions are not needed anymore.
“Really?” Li Na rapidly speaks in excitement. Her eyes shining in happiness. His action is different compared to his decision in his previous life. She realizes that she had succeeded in taking the first step in changing her terrible fate.
“Yes. I will go to the company then”. Shen Yun Tian looks at her warmly. As he turns around and ready to exit the house, suddenly his hand are being pulled. A pair of small hand is circling around his neck and a wet sensation touched his cheek.
“Thank you, Mr. Shen”. Li Na smooched his cheek and shyly leave it. She flashes her bright smile to Shen Yun Tian stunned self.
“Do your best at work, Mr. Shen”. She let go of her hold onto Shen Yun Tian and with that red face, she bolts away.
Behind her, Shen Yun Tian raises his finger and graze his cheek. As if trying to feel back the warmth he felt before.
“I will”. He answers while looking at the disappearance of Li Na’s back. A curve unconsciously appeared on his face.
“Cough”. Shen Yun Tian clears his throat to keep himself calm. But the aura of happiness keeps leaking from his body. The usual cold statue now becomes more approachable and less intimidating.
“Is anything good happen today, Young Master?” Uncle Li, the driver ask him.
Shen Yun Tian nodded “Does it seems too obvious?”
“No. Its just Young Master is smiling”. Shen Yun Tian touches his lips and then try to keep his composure back.
“Ahem. Drive”. He clears his throat and goes back to being the cold Shen Yun Tian. His gaze becomes sharp and the strong pressure is released from his body.
“Yes, Young Master”. Uncle Lis answers seriously.
Li Na runs back to her room and throws her body on her bed. She is feeling so excited. Its just early in the morning but lots happened. And she loves how this relationship goes.
Since there is nothing she plans to do, Li Na feels that it might be better for her to start learning Shen Yun Tian’s favorite dishes from Hwang Ma.
Living in a bitter life before, she knows how to cook but it’s just at the level of ordinary. To gain Shen Yun Tian’s favor and grabs his attention, she needs to put in more effort.
So she going down the stairs. Before her feet reach the last step, a loud and cheering voice suddenly called out to her.
“Li Na!!! How are you girl? So pity for you to be trapped in this house!“. A young girl comes to her. She wears a tight shirt that extremely emphasizing on the area around her chest. Her words may utter her sympathy but her face conveys otherwise means.
“Why are you silent, Li Na? That man must do something terrible to you right?“. The girl keeps blaming Shen Yun Tian but her eyes light up when thinking about him.
She tries to hold Li Na’s hand just like common things she did when she visits her but this time, before that girl raises her hand, Li Na immediately evades her touch.
“Why are you here, Fei Fei?” Li Na coldly looks at her.
Although she is being avoided, Fei Fei still continues her smiling act. “Its because I am your friend. Of course, I will come to see you”. She puffed her cheek and acting cute in front of Li Na.
Her action only makes Li Na jolt in disgust. This is because Fei Fei is the one that connects her ties with Ru Feng before. Behind that smiling face, hidden a sickening thought.
“Ah, really? What a good friend you are”. Li Na expressionlessly said.
“Yeah! You are fortunate to have me as a friend you know”. Fei Fei cutely boasting herself.
‘Yeah very fortunate’. Li Na’s smiles deepened.
