"Are you sure you're feeling well enough to be out and about?" Enquired Stella as she hooked her arms around mine.

"Barely feel the withdrawals symptoms anymore.. it's been days since after all." I responded.

I have been stuck at home for days as Stella wanted to make sure I'm resting and not overexerting myself. I glanced at the beautiful blonde girl next to me.

So far she hasn't asked questions regarding my 'condition' or why the medication was necessary. I'm glad she hasn't asked me anything about the latter since I myself don't really know why I've had to take it for so long.

As long as I can remember my mum has been making me take that medication since I was young. She always told me that bad things would happen if I stopped but so far it's been fine.

I actually feel that I'm living in the moment instead feeling so far away from the moment; like I'm a spectator in my own skin.

I looked down and couldn't help but grimaced.

The pink scarf was back.

I'm also wearing a fluffy fleece coat and a woolly hat with flaps on the side to cover my ears. This is all courtesy to the girl beside me.

I understand that it's cold since it's winter but still...

I guess I'm thankful that I wasn't made to wear gloves. Since she loves holding my hands. Currently my hand is wrapped in hers inside my coat pocket. I would have fought her tooth and nail if she insisted on the gloves.

Would I have won? I hardly doubt it.

We are currently walking towards the town centre to get breakfast. Stella's body guards were discreetly following behind us, keeping an appropriate distance where they can secretly protect us.

"You want me.. teach you cook another food?" I glanced towards her as I asked.

"Hmm." Stella hummed. "Are you sick of my pancakes?" She asked.

'Ehhh...' I gulped.

"No.. just.. maybe it be fun.." I lied.

Stella seemed lost in thought for a second before smiling brightly up at me. "Yeah... fun.." she grinned and licked her lips salaciously.

***

We arrived in town and I looked around curiously at the throng of people that milled around the place.

"You have a place in mind?" Asked Stella.

"Let's..look." I tell her with a small smile.

"Sure." She beamed at me.

After travelling around mindlessly we eventually found a place called 'Cosy Club'. The place itself was quaint, with high ceilings littered with stylish crystallise chandeliers. It had a bright open space with soft warm lighting that made it looked very cosy.

Since it's still early in the morning; around 10am, the place was quite empty which suited me just fine. I don't really do well with loud and boisterous places.

Stella seemed happy enough. Her cerulean eyes were constantly transfixed on me, it's a miracle that she hasn't tripped or bumped into anything yet.

"Careful.. look where you go." I murmured.

"You're my eyes and ears.. my everything." She replied back shamelessly.

I almost tripped over my own feet because of her statement.

"I-.." I couldn't help but blushed furiously. The woman guiding us to our table also paused and gave us a queer look.

'Please..kill me now..' I cried.

"Maybe you should be the one who should be careful and look where you place your feet." She teased.

I stuck my tongue out playfully and Stella took that as chance to quickly tiptoe and grabbed a hold of my tongue with her mouth.

She grinned at me victoriously.

I froze and stared at her in disbelief. Her eyes stared back at me challengingly while she continued sucking on my tongue with fervour.

Eventually she relented and let go of my poor tongue. She licked her lips as she eyed it once more. Having learned my lesson, I covered my mouth immediately with my hand.

Stella let out a small whine but thankfully kept to herself.

I kept my head down. I don't think I can handle the judging gaze of the waitress. Luckily the waitress did not say anything and just led us dutifully to our table.

Stella was browsing the breakfast menu while pursing her lips. I bit my lips hesitantly. The stunt she pulled earlier.. I don't think I could handle any more of those.

I took a deep breath and prepared myself mentally.

'You can do this..no - you need to do this. Metamorphosis.' I psyched myself.

"Stella.." I started.

"Hmm.." Stella hummed as she looked up from the menu.

I grip the fabric of my jeans as I continued. "Can we please.. keep 'that' for home?"

Stella cutely tilted her head, causing my heart to skip a beat.

'Focus!' I berated myself.

"You mean.. me kissing you in public and showing you my love and affection?"

I nodded.

Stella simply grinned. "Nope."

"I-.." I felt flustered. I was expecting her to shoot me down but this fast and abrupt..-

"Stella.." I sighed, a little exasperated.

"You're my boyfriend right?" She suddenly asked.

"Right... not that we talked.. bout it."

"It's not something that needed to be discussed. It's a given. Destined even. Written in the stars. You'll only belong to me. Not even death can do us part." She said with such great intensity that shook me to my core.

'I don't know what to say..'

There was a pregnant paused between us. I found myself bound by her electric blue eyes that I couldn't look away.

Stella reached out and stroked my face gently.

"My 'heart'.. do you understand that you belong to me? When I say that.. I don't say it lightly. I will destroy anything that endangers us being together, you're never leaving my side." She said it gently but I felt the deep conviction hidden in those words, that I couldn't help but shiver.

"I.. don't really understand... all 'this'.. between me and you.. it's new and I.. I guess.. I'm bad with this.. I'm bad with people.. so everything with you.. is new..."

Stella's eyes softened as she stroked my hand.

"It's okay 'heart'.. I'll teach you everything. You don't need to be good with people. You just need to be good with me."

"Okay.. but can you please.. not too much." I mumbled.

Stella brought the back of my hand to her lips and gave it a peck. "I'll try my 'heart'." She replied sincerely.

"Ehh.. you guys ready to order your drinks?" Said the waitress.
