After defeating the monkey I realized that I am in desperate need of defensive measures, so over the next few days, I amassed

more "servants" (parts of the hive mind) and had them chop down the smallest trees they could find because everything in this forest was

MASSIVE!!! Like seriously some of them must be taller than the empire state building! so once they chopped down the smallest tree they

could find they started construction on a "fortress" and even the one tree was enough to make an entire "small" (about 4 medium houses

worth big)  fortress over the next week, making sure to use the extras to make tolls and amour to be stored in the fortress. 

After it was completed I immediately got a message

After this message appeared I felt the process of making new servants begin a feeling I have not felt in a while, but I just knew something

was off, like the deepest part of my psyche was screaming at me, my gut was tight my instincts were telling me something would go wrong.

all my experiences from playing strategy games and the resulting ability often referred to as "game sense" were nagging at me, I knew

something was about to happen...... and then it did. My vision suddenly became blurry and I felt my consciousness slipping from me, trying

to hold on I gathered all my mental strength and held tight to my conciseness I thought to my self JUST HOLD ON....... JUST TRY TO

HOLD ON......, but I felt as my conciseness slipped from my grasp as if it were ethereal. Those few seconds felt as long as an eternity and

then nothing, no light, no sound, no feeling... until there was. My head was pounding and throbbing my vision coming back to me I saw

flashing red and alarms blaring in my head and with darkness still on my peripheral vision. I was able to make out what the red flashing

was. It was a text box!

seeing this I realized 4 things in an instant

1: I haven't eaten since fighting with the monkey.

2: My map showed that all my minions were dead except for the 20 in the fort I always keep in there.

3: There is a monster right outside my door.

4: I could die here.
