Airing all over national television with his voice resounding through the radios of millions of Americans, President Roosevelt stands on the podium, adjusting the microphone to him as he speaks, “My fellow Americans, today is a new day, in a new world. I stand before you, with a decision from Congress. Our adjustment to this new world is going smoothly, thanks to god almighty and the American society but there are a few problems that we have been unable to solve ourselves. We lack resources such as tin, aluminum, and rubber. We can’t get these resources on our own but fear not, we have allied with a nation to our East. Narnendia, they call themselves, is an oligarchy that is a nation just like us—a nation of freedom and peace, equality for all. They have the resources that we need, they allow us to spread our influence throughout this new world to provide security for all. But there are those in this new world just like our old, fascist dogs who want nothing more than to destroy our ways of life. Our new ally is threatened by a barbaric nation known as Aryvanion. These barbarians are just like the Nazis. Heartless and cruel, wishing everybody to be below them. We have already encountered them in our exploration, opening fire on us without warning. They are warmongers who wish for nothing else other than to strip us of our freedoms and enslave us. I, along with Congress, have decided to join this war against these fascist bastards and bring peace to this new world. The United States of America declares war on the Empire of Aryvanion! Remember to hold your heads high, ration your supplies, and stay proud to be an AMERICAN! Thank you, and may god bless us throughout our long journey.” Within minutes the entire country had heard this message, a few panicking in their homes, others attempting to start a protest, but most took to the streets in a patriotic manner, their heads held high with their chests out, flying the American flag. A nation that was once at war with fascists was once again at war against fascists, this time prepared for war. The Pacific Fleet’s Battle Force was heading to Aryvanion instead of to Narnendia.

Time: Ariel 48th, 1447, 16:00. Location: Second Continent, Narnendia, Kharbury

The squad had been sitting next to the manacomm, listening in on the public American radio before their broadcast had been interrupted by the President’s speech. They immediately record the audio using the manacomm and rush to the Countess’s room. Willis knocks three times before entering, “Countess, we have news from our homeland. We will be joining Narnendia in your war against the Aryvanion. We have recorded our President's speech on the manacomm so we may replay it to the Royals using translation magic.” The Countess immediately jumps up from her chair, dusting her dress off quickly as she grabs him and rushes out of the room, “Quickly we must go to the Royals and show them this message. I am sure they will be ecstatic when this news arrives.”
