Eli Shan stood beside the examiners and looked at everyone's expression with a weird gaze.

Because what he was looking at was the strange behavior of the candidates sitting before him. Some were screaming in pain, their faces twisted in a beastly rage. Others wept in agony, and a few struggled to catch their breath.

Eli Shan glanced at Feng Qiang, her face was red with anger. He didn't know what she was going through but It was the first time he saw her expression that way.

Then he turned his gaze toward Hao Yu's direction, who was grinding his teeth like an angry beast.

Eli Shan waited patiently and observed that numerous candidates couldn't endure the illusion any longer, their faces turned pale as they fell down unconsciously.

As time passed, no one showed any signs of getting out of the illusion which left him bored and yearning to find a place to lie down and sleep... but of course, he couldn't do it.

Soon, he noticed some movement in a certain direction and turned his gaze toward it, discovering that Feng Qiang had awakened. She slowly opened her eyes, her face flushed red with anger, and sweat-drenched her brow.

Eli Shan didn't know what she had experienced inside the illusion but looking at her expression, it was clear that it was definitely not something good.

After a while, Hao Yu also woke up, his eyes completely red, and his expression became even more ferocious when he looked at awakened Eli Shan and Feng Qiang.

Soon, after two hours, the illusion was over and only two hundred children barely passed the test.

With an indifferent face, the headmaster waved his hand and everyone who had lost consciousness regained it, but they kept their heads lowered in shame.

They were aware that if the headmaster had not intervened to stop the illusion, many of them might have perished within it.

The middle-aged man cast a stern gaze upon them and, with a dismissive wave of his hand, declared, "Losers." Instantly, a force enveloped them and they were expelled from the school.

Then, the examiner turned his gaze towards Eli Shan and the others and said, "From now on, your cultivation realm or background, you will forget everything about them until you reach the age of eighteen and graduate from here. Do you understand?"

"Yes sir", everyone shouted in agreement.

The examiner nodded in satisfaction and added, "Each of you, go and meet the school dean. He will issue your ID cards based on your rank, and your room will be assigned depending on it too. Now, all of you, dismiss!"

Everyone's face lit up as they became happy hearing the examiner's words, they had been in the outer region of the school until now. Now it was the time to finally enter the school!

"It feels like a dream to enter this school."

"Huh? I was already confident to pass all of the exams easily."

"But the one who passed the exams easily was Eli Shan, not you!"

Everyone began to talk with excitement and walked towards the inner region of the school.

As everyone was walking, Feng Qiang came near eli shan and smiled at him, "Let's go".

Eli Shan smiled back and nodded, "Yes, let's finally enter the school."

As they walked together and entered inside the inner region, their eyes were met with the sight of towering, majestic mountains whose peaks were hidden into the very heart of the clouds. The breathtaking view left them in a daze and filled them with a sense of excitement and awe.

Coming into the sense, their attention was drawn to a prominent hall named "Dean's Office" situated in the corner. Eli Shan guessed, "This must be the office where the examiner wanted us to go," and walked towards it, with everyone following him. As they entered inside the hall, they were immediately greeted by the sight of various types of weapons adorning the walls.

In the center of the room, a man exuding a powerful aura sat with his hands resting on the table before him.

Observing the man, Eli Shan surmised that he must be the Dean.

The man on the chair looked at them and nodded, "So, you are the new batch of students, huh?"

Everyone present nodded in agreement.

The Dean smiled and continued, "Very well. Now, please approach me one by one. Your examiner has already communicated your ranks to me. Stand before me and let me sense your aura."

A young man stepped forward and channeled his aura. Suddenly, a wooden token soared through the air and landed neatly in his grasp.

"Ah, I am at the two hundredth rank," the guy exclaimed, a tinge of sadness in his voice, as he quickly ran away from the hall.

Like this everyone went one by one and received their token.

Suddenly, a student standing near the dean roared in anger. "What on the earth? Why am I only in the third position?"

The Dean gazed at Hao Yu and responded calmly, "What do you mean? Are you suggesting that we made a mistake in your ranking?"

Hao Yu retorted, his mind filled with anger and jealousy, "How the hell could I be the third rank? I am the most genius person in this city! If I couldn't be ranked first then I should at least be second, shouldn't I?"

Hao Yu knew how monstrous eli shan was, so he didn't dare to ask for the first position shamelessly. However, accepting the third position? That was out of the question!

This time, the Dean didn't even glance at Hao Yu as he replied, "This is your final ranking. The second position was earned by a girl named Feng Qiang, and one more thing, even if you are a son of the city lord, don't you think that you could go away by insulting the integration of our school."

Suddenly, the dean's eyes met with Hao Yu and an overwhelming aura emanated from him, pressing down on Hao Yu so heavily that he bent down and struggled to even breathe.

Intimidated by the overwhelming aura, Hao Yu fell into silence and withdrew silently to his room, his thoughts fueled by anger: "I will make you realize who I am once you retire from this school."

After a while, it was Eli Shan and Feng Qiang's turn to receive their tokens.

Feng Qiang stepped forward and assumed an attentive posture, her face bearing a serious expression, as she channeled her cultivation aura.

Suddenly a silver token flew over towards her and she caught it gracefully.

The Dean nodded at her and remarked, "Good, a second-ranked student, keep up with your hard work, and don't disappoint us later."

Feng Qiang nodded and replied seriously, "I will do my best, sir."

The Dean nodded and shifted his gaze to Eli Shan, who stood behind her, and said, "Now, come here and receive your token."

Eli Shan nodded and stepped forward leisurely. He was already confident that he would be ranked first, so there was no trace of nervousness in his demeanor.

Dean looked at him and waved his hand, gesturing for him to hurriedly use his cultivation aura.

Eli Shan began to flow the qi left inside his body, and suddenly, a golden token soared through the air and when it reached near Eli Shan, he waved his hand and the wind began to control the token, landing it swiftly on his hand.

As the Dean observed the golden token, he was left in shock. He looked from Eli Shan's slender physique, then at the golden token, and again back at him. After studying him thoroughly, he inquired, "So, you are Eli Shan?"

Eli Shan nodded with a smile and replied, "Yes, that's me."

The Dean nodded gently but remained puzzled about what was so special about this kid.

After a moment, the Dean advised Eli Shan with a warm smile, "Remember, your position is not set in stone. Keep cultivating so that no one can snatch your position by surpassing you in the future."

Eli Shan nodded solemnly and replied, "Yes, I will." Despite his nod, he was well aware that he might eventually lose his current position. Why was that? Because he was well aware that even though he possessed immense potential, there was a significant hurdle before him—he couldn't cultivate! What was the use of having potential if he couldn't cultivate?

Yet, he wasn't disheartened. He had come to this school in search of a better technique for something he excelled at—his physical abilities!

With that, the Dean waved his hand, indicating that they could leave now. However, just as they were about to exit the hall, a voice called out, "If you encounter any difficulties in the future, you can always contact me."

Eli Shan turned back and nodded, a big smile appeared on his face that revealed all of his teeth, as he replied, "I will," before exiting the hall.

Inside the hall, Dean had a smile on his face as he whispered to himself, "Headmaster praised you a lot, don't disappoint him."

In the spacious schoolyard, Eli Shan and Feng Qiang walked together. While Feng Qiang was immersed in the beauty of the majestic mountains, which was their destination place, Eli Shan was lost in the thought of the past and was puzzled whether It was just his imagination or the Dean was especially gentle towards him.

As they continued walking, Eli Shan examined his golden token and realized that they were not heading toward the innermost area of the school. The location designated for new students to stay was in the outer region, where they would not have any contact with their senior students.

For Eli Shan that was best. He didn't like much interaction with others from before. All he wanted was just to cultivate in seclusion without any disturbance.

With that, they arrived beneath a mountain peak that stood as the tallest in the outer region of the school.

Next to his mountain peak was the second-longest peak, which was reserved for the second-ranked student!

Eli Shan looked at Feng Qiang and smiled, "Let's go and cultivate with all we have got."

Feng Qiang smiled back and replied, "Don't be lazy, otherwise I will soon replace your position."

Hearing her, Eli Shan's chest came out with pride and a burst of laughter began to resound around them, "You can just dream about it, You need a hundred years to reach my current realm, let alone my future realm, hahaha."

Hearing this, Feng Qiang clenched her fist in anger as she shouted at him, "You little..."

Before she could finish her sentence, Eli Shan jumped into the air with a gentle tap of his feet on the ground, the wind became his vessel as he flew over effortlessly and landed gracefully on his mountain peak. He looked below again at Feng Qiang and shouted with a smile, "Haha, I don't have time to argue with the weaks. I'm here to cultivate and become even stronger!"

Just as Feng Qiang was about the shout even more, Eli Shan ran inside the house of his peak. Feng Qiang couldn't help but sigh and smile at the same time. "To others, he looks like a serious and arrogant person, but he is really a kid who loves to have fun."

She turned her gaze to her mountain peak, and with a gentle tap of her feet, Feng Qiang also jumped gracefully and landed on her mountain peak.

On the highest peak, Eli Shan stood inside a magnificent house that was not too big or small. At first, due to arguing with Feng Qiang, he didn't notice at first but, the house was so magnificent that he had just one thought in his mind, "This house is like a palace!"

Looking at the spacious place and the luxury bed inside the room, Eli Shan couldn't help but be left in shock, "Is this house really mine from now on?"

He became happy and excited, and then without any delay, he jumped onto the luxury bed which softly pressed down as he slept in an instant.
