"It's a Scarlet Qiroot tree with a lot of fruits, some strange crystals, rare minerals, mana stones, and an ancient altar." Continued the woman with a serious expression.

When the three heard such an impressive list, they were shocked, the leader included. Thus, he couldn't help but make sure, "Where is that?" Then he remembered, "But most importantly, who took it from you?"

"It's just a bit to the southeast," She said, pointing in a particular direction, "As for who...It's a giant dark and brown viper that protects the place. At first, we thought she was just a mid-stage Foundation Establishment, but even my senior brothers at that rank were easily killed by her."

Registering the news, the three paused, they first assumed it to be some minor weak monster, but to easily kill mid-stage Foundation Establishment cultivators? That would take some serious strength.

After pondering over the issue for a while, the leader finally made up his mind, "Alright, lead the way, and we will avenge you." He then turned toward the man leaning against the tree and said, "You traitor scum, follow behind."

Hearing that the man only stood up, not even glancing at the group, and began slowly following after them. As for running from this group who were clearly antagonistic to him? He wouldn't dare with his nonexistent strength.
...

Lei Yan had already hidden his original mosquito form among a cluster of trees in the distance, transferred his consciousness into the small mosquito that first relayed to him the news about this group, and observed from there. As he watched the group gradually disappear into the darkness, he pondered, 'I wonder what is that man's deal?'

The existence of that man without Qi in these parts was a mystery to him, and it intrigued him slightly, but he quickly shook off such thoughts for now.

Glancing up, he noticed how the sky's dark color was gradually becoming lighter, signifying the beginning of a new day. Witnessing this sight, he couldn't help but sigh, the fast few days were the most difficult, stressful, and miserable days of his life. The amount of fear and shock he had felt made him feel like he had aged a decade.

'All because of that hateful worm,' he thought, but when he remembered how her doom was but a matter of hours, he couldn't help but grin in his mind.

'Still,' He thought after a while, 'I am not sure just these guys would make a difference. Just in case, I need to make things even more chaotic.' And to do that he already had a plan in mind.

After ordering the small mosquito to keep following after the group that had just left, he returned to his mosquito form and made his way to the hole where he left his subordinates.

Along the way his mind kept going over a very important issue, he had realized that there was a contradiction within himself, one specifically related to how he treated his direct offspring.

On one hand, they were clearly intelligent to know that they came from him, and thus they sought more out of him, Yet, on the other, he himself felt too weird about the whole subject, and just distanced himself from them.

'I am an insect now for Pete's sake,' He chided himself, trying to encourage himself to take that next step.

Reaching his destination, he landed on the ground, and using his legs he began to dig into the hole until he fell to the other side where all of the insects were curiously looking.

He swiftly noticed how the small blue dragonfly had already returned to his original size, and seemed as good as new thanks to the healing pill. The two brothers and Nevas, were also eagerly awaiting him.

"My King!" They shouted in the shared mental connections, and to Lei Yan this always sounded rather grand. He didn't know, how or why the three of them specifically always called him as such even though they had heard the others just call him Lord plenty of times. However, he didn't want to over-correct them too much, and he just let them be.

A sudden urge to dazzle them even more appeared in his heart, and he swiftly transformed into the Fire God Ant. His form instantly changed becoming a huge monster that towered over every insect present, with an exquisite Horn, intricate wings, a gorgeous color, and most importantly the joyfully running around the ball of flames that encircled him, celebrating its own existence after a small nap.

Witnessing the way they were all looking at him, their eyes filled with awe and reverence. He deeply looked at them and decided to start explaining their current situation, "I think all of you know that we have been oppressed by that vile creature, the viper." He said with a somber voice, "However, although she was indeed way more powerful than we are at this particular stage, I have worked very hard to devise a meticulous plan that will bring her to death's door, without me even lifting a finger."

Seeing all of them so serious and moved, he chuckled in his mind and continued, "We have been gifted, by the greatest gift of all, intelligence and unity. Most creatures who only have one, but we have them all. Those two cannot coexist without one another, I am sure you've all witnessed how the dumb non-intelligent monsters acted. They had just wanted to tear each other apart, thought endlessly about food, and their existence limited. Then you must've seen the intelligent ones who have no one to rely on, they also just want to tear everyone apart. We on the other hand," He said, letting the silence stretch for a while, "We are the glorious spirit that runs across each and every insec, and as long as I am alive, we will stand intelligent, wise, and united!"

As he said that, he transformed into his dragonfly form, "Whether we are a dragonfly," He then transformed to his mosquito form, "A mosquito," Finally to his Ant, "Or an ant, we are one and the same!"

Feeling like the stream of thoughts he was previously riding began to crumble, he just stopped talking and looked at every one of them individually, with a deep meaningful look. Watching how all of them seemed to vibrate from excitement, he was amused by the whole thing.

After a while, he said, "Unfortunately you are still too weak right now, and you can't get involved in the battle to come. But I will take you with me to witness the viper's demise with your eyes, and that could be considered our revenge against the despicable foe that feigned friendship but wanted to eat us."

Still in his ant form, he slowly walked into the end of the tunnel as all of the insects made way, and bowed to him in respect. He talked for a few minutes with the three of them, and he heard what had happened to them. It was exactly as he expected, they just remained on the edge of the Red Minnerade and hunted there until they were able to fly, overall nothing too serious.

However, understanding that time was of the essence he cut that conversation short and transformed into his mosquito form once again as he had a very important goal in mind.

His eyes glowed with a radiant blue hue once again, and his body turned stiff, devoid of any signs of life.

Opening his eyes once again, he found himself in the body of one of those mosquitoes with the Blood Coded Rune in their heads. It was one of those who were tasked with finding Lu Peng's location. Other than his four Awakened mosquitoes, he still had another six of them.

Lei Yan found himself in some random part of the Red Minnerade, and after looking around, he quickly found where the southern direction was and flew toward it. After a while, he reached the beginning of the Green Gateway, and he continued deep into that territory, his destination was none other than the Sun Insect Society's main outpost.

After flying for a few minutes, he reached a vast clearing with towering green pagodas in the middle. From his human memories, he knew that this was exactly the place.

In his 8th stage Body Forging realm mosquito body, he quietly flew at a high altitude, before he descended into the outpost flying in the pagoda's direction.

The moment he got close to it, he felt an overwhelming pressure descend on him, he knew that he had been found out. However, already expecting such an outcome, he used the voice broadcasting technique and rippled his voice in the pagoda's direction, "I come in peace," He shouted, "I just have some news to report."

Hearing the sound, Lu Peng and all of the other remaining vice administrators emerged out of the pagoda's wide gates with shocked expressions. An awakened Body Forging mosquito with access to the voice broadcasting technique wasn't something they were expecting to encounter.

Witnessing all of this, Lei Yan felt amused, but more so deeply satisfied with the technique. To him this was what it meant to live in a fantasy world, to be able to do astonishing feats like this one.

After reveling in that for a while, he quietly approached, and hovered before the group saying, "Shouldn't we speak inside?"

Lu Peng nodded with a solemn expression and gestured for him to enter.

Lei Yan with no fear in his heart, passed by these figures who could kill him in this body with a sneeze and entered inside. Seeing the long table, he continued his flight and landed on top of it, awaiting the others to sit.

Needless to say, the more they witnessed how the mosquito acted in such an intelligent and understanding manner, the more astonished the group became.

After all of them sat down in their own chairs, Lu Peng didn't beat around the bush, and directly questioned, "Who are you?"

"Isn't it clear?" Lei Yan questioned with a teasing tone, "A small mosquito, trying to do a good deed!"

Lu Peng's eyebrows furrowed closely, and he asked, "And what good deed would that be?"

"You know," Lei Yan said, "There are certain advantages to being this small and weak. People don't pay much attention to you, and you can see everything."

Lu Peng's scowl grew even further, and for some reason, this insect gave him a bad feeling, it sounded too cunning, too shrewd. And, so he just kept quiet, waiting for it to finish.

With a sigh, Lei Yan said, "I've watched how that viper almost killed you several times, and I've even seen that golden dragonfly too, he is still alive somewhere, he was one intelligent insect that one, he played all of you and ran away."

"What is your point?" Lu Peng snapped at him.

"Sheesh, calm down, will you?" Lei Yan said, "I am after all here to do you a favor. Anyways, you want revenge on the viper right?"
