As May and I watched in amazement, our bodies glowed in unison, and May's wand began to vibrate, changing both color and shape. My eyes widened with excitement, and I couldn't help but gasp, "Could this be?"

May's expression grew more determined, and she nodded her head. "I believe it is. I sense that my catalyst will appear soon," she replied.

As the light began to fade from the wand and our bodies, a grey and stoic figure of a beautiful girl with long grey hair and grey wolf ears and a tail emerged, taking the place of the wand.

"Are you my witch's catalyst?" May asked, her voice filled with awe.

"That I am, Master. My name is Freya, and I have been awakened after our hearts became one. I represent your ability to use the four basic elements, as well as your loyalty and intelligence," the wolf girl replied in a soft, harmonic voice.

I felt a sudden surge of power flowing into me, and I couldn't contain my excitement. "I feel as though I have recovered all my lost mana. How much stronger have you become, my Darling May?" I exclaimed.

May's heart swelled with pride at my words, and she couldn't help but smile. "I'm not quite sure myself, Dear, but I feel a newfound sense of strength and power," she replied, grateful to have Freya by her side.

"My Queen, I ask for permission to assist Master in harnessing my power to its fullest capabilities. May I remain in this form during our travels?" Freya asked me.

"I will allow it, but is it okay with you, May?" I asked, turning to my beloved bride.

"Of course, I am happy to continue growing stronger. However, I do have a question for Freya," May stated.

"Yes, Master?" Freya responded.

"Can you communicate with Nadare through your connection as catalysts?" May inquired.

"I can. Is there something you wish to tell her?" Freya replied.

"Yes, please let her know that Emily has recovered and that we will be heading her way soon. I don't want to make Mother Klare worry any longer than necessary," May stated.

"Understood, Master. I will relay the message immediately," Freya confirmed.

"Good. Emily, my Love, now that a catalyst has been unlocked, have any of your memories from your previous incarnations as the Witch Queen returned?" I asked, hoping for a breakthrough.

"Everything feels as though it is slowly becoming less fuzzy, but I still don't remember enough to put anything into detail. I was hoping this catalyst would help. Do you remember anything from your previous incarnation as my first bride?" I explained, longing to regain our shared past.

"I don't remember much either, Dear. Freya, do you have any insight on what we should do next? Should we focus on unlocking Sasha and Aria's catalysts as well?" May asked, seeking guidance from our newfound companion.

"I believe that as you train to master my power, it will gradually unlock your blocked memories. Once the training is complete, our Queen can perform the Witch Queen contract again with you, Master, and it may help unlock some of her memories regarding your shared past life," Freya explained.

"That's a good starting point, then. May, I promise to train harder than ever to master this newfound power inside me," I declared, my eyes filled with determination.

"But please remember to rest too. I don't want you to be the one collapsing next, my Darling," I reminded her, concern lacing my words.

"You're cute when you worry about me. I promise to rest. Now, what is this power I'm feeling inside me, and how do I bring it out, Freya?" May asked, eager to understand her newfound abilities.

"Combination magic, or more specifically, elemental combination magic. Just like our Queen, you will be able to combine your different elemental affinities to create new and even stronger spells. It requires extreme mana control and awareness of what elements work best together in different combat situations. With your quick instincts and intelligence, Master, I believe that if you train hard enough, you could be on par, if not stronger, than our Queen when it comes to elemental combination magic," Freya explained.

"Wow, my most trusted partner and tactician could also be my strongest force in battle. You already have a great handle on mana control. I can't wait to see what spells you'll be able to create, Darling," I said, excitement shimmering in my eyes.

"Stop it, Dear, you're making me blush and nervous," May giggled.

Interrupting our banter, Freya spoke up. "My Queen, Master, you've received a message from Mother Klare. Shall I relay it to you now?" she asked.

"It's alright, please give us the message," I replied, curious to hear what my mother had to say.

"Very well, my Queen. She says, 'If you have recovered, please hurry and come back here. You girls are making my darling granddaughter worry like crazy, not to mention her grandmother as well. Also, the Headmistress has a request for you and your brides. Please hurry back, but stay safe.' That was the message sent to me. How should I reply, Master, my Queen?" Freya asked.

May and I shared a laugh as we looked at each other. Then I said, "Tell Mother that we'll head her way now and to let Windy know that we have a new friend for her to meet."

"Very well, my Queen. Wait, a new friend for the Princess? You don't mean me, do you?" Freya asked, a hint of panic in her voice.

"Why, of course! Who else could I be referring to?" I replied mischievously, relishing in Freya's discomfort.

"But, my Queen, I'm not good with children, and she'll want to play with my tail. Master, please help me," Freya pleaded, her panic evident.

"My, my, a great holy catalyst going against her Queen's wishes and refusing to befriend our sweet daughter. Perhaps some punishment will be necessary," May said with an evil smile.

"No, noooooo!" Freya screamed in horror.
