Before life sprung forth on the surface of Earth,
Lumens watched from above.
Witnessing each and every planet’s birth,
fostering newfound love.

Assisted by beasts arcane and rare,
these worlds they aimed to protect.
Hidden away from human’s stare,
a kingdom’s secrets kept.

Rejecting the solar blessing of light,
the mystic arts were banned.
Beasts went mad, consumed by the night,
spiraling out of hand.
