In the vast expanse of the galaxy, the red planet Enos stood as a desolate testament to the power of the Crimson Empire. A sprawling desert landscape stretched as far as the eye could see, painted in hues of crimson and ochre. The relentless sun cast an unforgiving heat upon the endless dunes, giving birth to a land where survival was a constant struggle.

At the heart of Enos, dominating the northern horizon, lay the imposing citadel of the Crimson Empire. A colossal stone fortress that expanded for miles, it stood as a symbol of the empire's strength and dominance. Carved from the very essence of Enos itself, the citadel's stones echoed a similar, dark-red hue that permeated the planet's surface.

Within the citadel's walls, the Crimson Empire stood strong. The corridors were adorned with banners bearing the emblem of a black planet surrounded by a barrier – a stark representation of the empire's goal of unification. Guards in black and crimson high-tech armor patrolled the halls, their presence a constant reminder of the powerful rule that emanated from this stronghold.

The inner chambers housed the enigmatic emperor of the Crimson Empire, a ruler whose identity was shrouded in mystery. From the throne within the citadel, orders were issued with an iron will.

Beyond the stone walls of the citadel, the desert sands stretched endlessly. Small settlements dotted the outskirts of the empire, where citizens lived under the watchful eyes of the Crimson Empire. Their lives were dictated by strict regulations and the looming empire's ruthless justice.

Amidst the pale concreate tiled floors of the training grounds, a tall young white male by the name of Sora, found himself on the training grounds among the officers, practicing hand-to-hand combat. Wearing the standard black and crimson armor that identified him as one of the empire's own, his black hair complemented the seriousness of his expression. His purple eyes, seemingly reflective of the distant sunlight, revealed a determination to excel in his duties as a crimson officer.

As Sora engaged in the combat drills, his movements were fluid and purposeful. The echoes of strikes and the subtle hum of energy filled the air as he demonstrated his commitment to the empire's cause. Unaware of the shadows lurking within the corridors of power, Sora's loyalty to the empire remained unshaken, his actions fueled by the belief in the nobility of their mission.

Amidst the rhythmic cadence of combat drills, Sora's movements epitomized a perfect synchronization of skill and purpose. In the midst of training Sora, within his piercing purple eyes, embodied the essence of a loyal crimson officer.

Across the expanse of the training ground, a tall figure emerged. Benzi, a young black male with long brown hair, adorned in the typical crimson armor, showcased his prowess in swordsmanship. In his hands, a plasmatana, also known as the plasma katana. His blade danced with grace, veiled in a purple flame-like aura, leaving trails of brilliance as Benzi executed quick, precise slashes with deep focus.

The clash of metal against the arid air reverberated as Benzi's swordsmanship melded seamlessly with the desert winds. His every movement painted an image of dedication and skill, a testament to the discipline instilled by the empire's training regimen. Unbeknownst to Sora and Benzi, their destinies converged on this expansive training ground, where the sands of allegiance held the secrets that would eventually challenge the very foundations of their loyalty.

As the echoes of training persisted, the elite crimson officer ascended the top step of the large stairway connecting the training grounds to the entrance of the fortress corridor. Standing with an emotionless expression, he overlooked the small army of officers, each one a testament to the rigorous training they had endured to become beginner-class officers.

With an emotionless and stern voice, the elite officer addressed the assembly. "Many of you have trained hard to earn the rank of beginner-class officer. Today, I bring news. A select few among you will have the opportunity to embark on your very first mission. You will be accompanied by a 2nd class or 1st class officer, serving as your squad captain"

The announcement hung in the air, and the small army of officers stirred with anticipation. In perfect formation, they threw their fists in the air, cheering with excitement of going on their first expedition as crimson officers. Even Sora joined in, his enthusiasm evident as he raised his fist, while Benzi crossed his arms with an excited smirk, looking forward to the challenges that lay ahead.

The training ground buzzed with newfound energy as the prospect of the first mission ignited the spirit of camaraderie among the rookie officers. The 1st class officer, his voice still a dull tone, addressed the assembled crimson officers.

"That will be all for now, you are dismissed," he declared with a no-nonsense tone. "You are free to do as you please until you're summoned for your first mission within the next 12 to 24 hours"

The air crackled with a mixture of excitement and anticipation as the officers dispersed, each contemplating the challenges that awaited them on their imminent expedition. Sora and Benzi exchanged glances, their expressions reflecting a blend of eagerness and curiosity about the mission that would mark the beginning of their journey.

As the officers scattered, the 1st class officer turned toward the large open corridor, walking back inside the expansive red hallway. The echoing footsteps accompanied him as he made his way to rejoin the emperor’s side.

Sora, fueled by the excitement of the impending mission, turned to Benzi with a smirk. "How about a friendly practice duel, huh? We need to stay sharp for whatever comes our way"

Benzi sighed, his arms still crossed in a display of reluctant acceptance. "Don't blame me if you get hurt during a mere friendly duel," he retorted, facing Sora. The challenge had been accepted, and the training ground, once a hub of intense focus, now hosted the clash of wills between comrades preparing for the challenges that awaited them beyond the citadel's walls.

The air became charged with anticipation as Sora and Benzi slowly put up their guards, glaring at each other with unwavering determination. In a synchronized movement, they dashed towards each other, the training ground transforming into their arena.

Benzi threw the first punch, aiming for Sora's torso, but with quick precision, Sora evaded the strike. Seizing the opportunity, Sora gripped Benzi's arm and executed a swift arm drag, flipping him onto his back in a move reminiscent of martial arts finesse. The ground beneath them echoed with the impact as the duel unfolded, showcasing their agility and training.

Sora couldn't help but let out a slight laugh, teasingly commenting: "Looks like your hand-to-hand skills might need more work, my friend"

To his suprise, Benzi laughed in response. With a quick spin attack from the ground, he kicked Sora's feet out from under him, causing him to hit the pavement. Benzi taunted, "Do you really think I only spent my time working on my swordsmanship, Sora? I know better than fully relying on one mere weapon"

The banter between the two friends added a layer of camaraderie to their friendly duel. Sora slowly rose to his feet, brushing himself off and facing his combatant once more. They continued to exchange blows, each movement executed with focused precision.

Their agility and training were on full display as they evaded and blocked each other's attacks. The air filled with the intensity of their friendly sparring session, a dance of combat where every strike and counter showcased their skill and familiarity with one another's fighting style.

Blow after blow, they continued the exchange, a fluid and dynamic display of their training as crimson officers. The intensity reached it’s peak as their feet clashed with a fierce simultaneous kick. With one final punch, they landed clean hits on each other, causing them to collapse onto the tiled floor, out of breath and sweating from the intense duel.

The training ground fell silent, the echoes of their clash lingering in the air. Sora and Benzi lie side by side, despite the fatigue, there was a shared sense of accomplishment in the air—an unspoken understanding of the bond forged through combat and camaraderie.

As they caught their breath, The duel had served as a prelude to the challenges that awaited them on their first mission as crimson officers...

CHAPTER 1 : One’s Justice

As they caught their breath, Benzi and Sora made their way through a narrow steel hallway adorned with a red-carpet floor. Black doors aligned both sides resembling a hotel corridor. The atmosphere was a stark contrast to the intensity of the training ground, providing a temporary respite for the officers.

Reaching his room numbered 201, Benzi gave a single hand wave to Sora, who was just a few doors down at 205. The familiarity of the routine spoke of the shared experiences and the unspoken understanding between them. With a nod, they both typed in the codes to their rooms in the keypads, closing the doors behind them.

Reaching his room numbered 201, Benzi gave a single hand wave to Sora, who was just a few doors down at 205. The familiarity of the routine spoke of the shared experiences and the unspoken understanding between them. With a nod, they both typed in the codes to their rooms on the keypads, closing the doors behind them.

Inside his small room, Sora took a moment to absorb the familiar surroundings. The space was a compact bedroom with white metal walls that gave it a clean and utilitarian feel. A black carpet covered the floor beneath, contrasting with the stark white of the walls. Against one wall stood his red bed, neatly made, a focal point in the room. On the right side, a white dresser added a touch of simplicity, while a small bathroom on the left side completed the modest accommodations.

The room, though confined, held a sense of comfort and familiarity for Sora. It was a place of rest within the confines of the citadel, a space where he could gather his thoughts and prepare for the challenges that lay ahead.

Feeling the weight of the upcoming mission, Sora let out a groan as he fell onto his bed laying on his back, staring up at the metal ceiling adorned with the emblem of the Crimson Empire in the center. The emblem, a stark reminder of his allegiance.

Despite the groan, a genuine excitement sparkled in Sora's eyes. "Can't believe we're finally going on our first mission," he muttered to himself. The prospect of venturing beyond the citadel filled him with joy.

As the fatigue from the day's training set in, Sora's eyelids grew heavy. Slowly succumbing to the urge to sleep, he mumbled, "Excited... for what's to come," before drifting into a well-deserved rest. The room remained silent, enveloping him in the tranquil embrace of slumber within the heart of the Empire...

Meanwhile, Benzi sat on his bed, clad in merely a black cotton shirt and matching pants. His crimson armor rested in the corner of the room, a silent witness to the day's intense training. In his hands, he cradled his plasmatana, the shiny black saya catching the ambient light. With a thoughtful expression, he slowly unsheathed the blade, inspecting it to ensure it was in pristine condition after the rigorous session.

The soft hum of the plasmatana resonated in the room as Benzi examined the energy-infused blade. It was a moment of quiet reflection, a crimson officer preparing his trusted weapon for future battle...

As the sun began to rise upon the fortress, a flashing purple light emanated from Sora's armor torso. A crimson soldier contacted him through the communication system built into the armor, requesting Sora's presence. The soldier's voice, filtered through the helmet's communication system, resonated with a formal tone. "Officer #396, Sora Kandai, report to the main lobby for squad placement and mission preparation. The emperor expects your squad to be ready for deployment. Move swiftly"

The message jolted Sora awake. With a sense of urgency, he prepared himself for the mission. The tranquil embrace of sleep gave way to the impending challenges, and the crimson officers were summoned to step into the dawn of their first mission under the Crimson Empire.

Sora, still feeling the lingering fatigue, splashed water on his face to shake off the remnants of sleep. As he stood in front of the sink, a small hole in the counter slowly lifted, revealing a freshly brewed cup of coffee. Steam rose from the lid's opening, and the rich aroma filled the air.

The automated system within the citadel had anticipated Sora's need for a caffeine boost. With a grateful nod, he took the cup in hand, allowing the warmth of the coffee to invigorate him. The fatigue began to dissipate as Sora pulled himself together, determined to face the challenges that awaited him on his first mission as a crimson officer. The dawn of a new day marked the beginning of an uncharted journey.

As Sora walked out, holding the cup of coffee, he found Benzi already dressed in his uniform, leaning against the wall with his arms crossed. A smirk played on Benzi's face as he taunted, "It's about time you got up. We've got a mission to prepare for, and you’re lagging behind"

Sora rolled his eyes, taking a sip of coffee to steel himself for the tasks ahead. Together, he and Benzi walked down the hallway, descending steel steps, leading them into a large lobby. The space was adorned with silver steel walls, and a crimson-red marble floor stretched beneath their feet. At the entrance stood a large black metal gate, and in the center of the lobby awaited a tall man.

The man had tan white skin, short black hair, and a slight hint of facial hair. He was dressed in a black variation of the uniform, accentuated by a red cape that billowed slightly behind him. His presence commanded attention, and as Sora and Benzi approached, the man raised an eyebrow, acknowledging their arrival.

"Officers Sora Kandai and Benzi Kaito, reporting for duty," Sora announced, standing at attention with a salute. The man nodded, his gaze assessing the two rookies.

"I am Captain Almire, your first mission awaits, and the emperor expects nothing but excellence. Follow me. Your squad awaits at the docking bay for deployment" Captain Almire turned, leading the way toward the black metal gate, the crimson officers falling into step behind him, ready to embark on the mission that awaited.

As they walked past the large gate, they followed Captain Almire down a paved path that led to the docking bay. The expansive bay revealed several steel spacecraft, neatly docked on a large black metal platform. The vessels stood ready, their sleek designs and crimson markings reflecting the formidable might of the Crimson Empire.

Captain Almire gestured toward one of the awaiting spacecrafts. "Your transport for this mission. Board quickly and efficiently. The success of this mission relies on swift execution. Your squad is already on board"

Sora and Benzi exchanged glances, a mix of excitement and hesitation in their eyes. The journey beyond the citadel's walls had begun, and the steel spacecraft stood as the vessel that would carry them into the uncharted territories of their first mission under the Crimson Empire.

Sora and Benzi, along with Captain Almire, approached the spacecraft awaiting them. It was a large white steel vessel, sleek and angular in design, forming a distinct triangle shape. The ramp at the front of the spacecraft was open, ready to receive it’s passengers.

As they looked at the imposing vessel, the crimson markings on the spacecraft gleamed in the ambient light, reflecting the emblem of the Crimson Empire.

With that, Sora and Benzi ascended the ramp, stepping into the spacecraft that would carry them into the unknown. The triangular vessel closed it’s ramp behind them, sealing them inside as it prepared to launch them into the uncharted void of space.

Inside the triangular vessel, the metallic confines embraced Sora and Benzi. Shiny silver steel walls glistened under the ambient lighting, creating a sleek and polished interior. The black metal floors beneath their boots added a touch of contrast to the metallic surroundings.

The space within the spacecraft was compact, emphasizing efficiency and functionality. The focal point was a set of four red leather chairs arranged at the front, near the pilot's chair. These chairs, with a vibrant crimson hue, provided the officers with a secure yet comfortable perch for the journey ahead.

The pilot's chair, a command center of sorts, stood at the forefront, equipped with an array of controls and displays. The metallic gleam of buttons and monitors reflected the seriousness of their impending mission.

Sora, Benzi, and Captain Almire approached the set of red leather chairs. The captain took the front left chair, a position of authority, while Benzi and Sora settled into the two back chairs. As they prepared for the journey ahead, their eyes were drawn to the mysterious squad member occupying the front right chair, their face concealed by the imposing crimson Empire helmet.

Sora couldn't contain his excitement as he settled into the red leather chair. "Finally leaving Enos! I can't wait to see what other planets look like," he remarked, his enthusiasm evident in his voice. The anticipation in the air heightened as the pilot, dressed in a dark blue shirt and pants, pushed a large red button. With a mechanical hum, the ramp shut, sealing them within the ship.

The spacecraft lifted off into the crimson sky, leaving Enos behind and embarking on a journey into the vast unknown. Silence enveloped the spacecraft as it soared into the crimson sky, leaving Enos in it’s wake. Sora and Benzi, seated in the red leather chairs, gazing out the window in front of them. The ship initiated warp speed, hurtling through the vast unknown at the speed of light. The windows filled with mesmerizing hues of light as they traversed the cosmic expanse.

Colors danced before their eyes, a kaleidoscope of vibrant hues blending into a breathtaking spectacle. The silence within the ship contrasted with the visual symphony outside. Minutes felt like fleeting seconds as the spacecraft raced through the fabric of space, bringing Sora, Benzi, and the mysterious squad member closer to their destination.

As the spacecraft emerged from warp speed, the crew beheld a lush green planet, it’s verdant beauty captivating even from space. The vast expanse of greenery spread beneath them, inviting anticipation for the exploration that awaited within the dense jungles of this mysterious world. The pilot's deep voice resonated through the cabin, announcing:  “We’ve arrived sir, sector 2, planet Florania, also known as the forest planet”

As the spacecraft emerged from warp speed, the crew beheld a lush green planet, its verdant beauty captivating even from space. The vast expanse of green spread beneath them, inviting anticipation for the exploration that awaited within the dense jungles of this mysterious world. The pilot's deep voice resonated through the cabin, announcing: “We’ve arrived, sir. Sector 2, planet Florania, also known as the forest planet.”

The captain, sitting with one leg over the other, ordered the pilot to take them in. The spacecraft descended toward the planet's surface, rushing through the green clouds that obscured their view. As they broke through the dense cover, an endless thick forest came into view, sprawling as far as the eye could see. The pilot searched for a suitable landing point within the sea of green, ready to embark on their mission on Florania.

The lush forest stretched out beneath them, revealing a tapestry of green interspersed with waterfalls and ponds that sparkled like jewels. The dense canopy of vibrant foliage created a breathtaking sight. The spacecraft rushed through the sky, providing a panoramic view of the enchanting landscape.

After about a minute of searching, the spacecraft descended and landed on the top of a mountain. From this elevated vantage point, the crew could see what appeared to be a small village nestled within the lush landscape. The village consisted of huts made of wood and leaves, blending harmoniously with the natural surroundings. The mountain provided a strategic location for their initial exploration of Florania, and the crew prepared to disembark and venture into the heart of the vibrant forest below.

Captain Almire rose to his feet with a serious expression ordering: "Neon, wait on the ship. We'll handle the initial exploration" The pilot responded with a playful tone, "No arguments here, Captain. I'll keep the ship warm for you" The banter added a light touch to the tension that lingered in the air as the squad prepared to disembark and delve into the heart of Florania.

Captain Almire's stern and serious demeanor echoed through the air. "Stay close, and remain vigilant" he ordered, with an authoritative tone. The squad, led by Almire, marched off the ship's ramp as it shut behind them. They surveyed the area, Sora filled with anticipation as he excitly looked all around him.

The squad stepped onto the vibrant surface of Florania, greeted by a soft warm breeze that carried with it the gentle scent of blossoms. Sora's eyes widened with anticipation as he took in the enchanting surroundings. Towering roses, standing at least ten feet tall, painted the landscape with hues of pink, red, and violet. Massive mushrooms, resembling colorful umbrellas, added a whimsical touch to the forest floor.

The air was alive with the soothing sounds of nature—the rustle of leaves, the distant murmur of waterfalls, and the melodic chirping of unseen creatures. Florania's beauty was both breathtaking and surreal, a world where the line between reality and fantasy blurred in the embrace of the lush jungle. The squad, surrounded by the wonders of this alien paradise, remained vigilant as they ventured deeper into the heart of the forest.

The squad moved in unison, their boots treading on the dirt path that led down the descending hill toward the village below. While Sora remained captivated by the beauty of Florania, his eyes absorbing every detail of the enchanting landscape, Benzi maintained a vigilant posture. His hand rested on the hilt of his sheathed blade, ready to draw it at a moment's notice.

As they descended, the village gradually came into clear view. The huts, woven from leaves and wood, stood in harmony with the natural surroundings. The villagers, frog-like humanoids with dark-green skin, dressed in pale blue cloth robes, shirts and dresses, walked about their day as usual.

As the squad approached the outskirts of the village, the frog-like inhabitants noticed their presence and hopped away in utter panic. However, at the entrance, an elder draped in a pale-blue hooded cloak with a long beard stood his ground. Two frog soldiers, wielding spears with precision, guarded the elder, their eyes fixed on the intruders.

The elder spoke with a calm elderly voice inquiring: "Why have you out-worlders come to our peaceful land? Surely, it’s not to merely enjoy the senary" His eyes held a mixture of curiosity and concern as the crimson squad stood before him.

The squad captain stepped forward, addressing the elder with a calm yet authoritative tone. "We come as representatives of the Crimson Empire. This planet has been deemed a valuable asset by the emperor, and we request your peaceful submission to the empire. We intend to establish a base here to mine the planet's resources for the cause of the Crimson Empire"

The elder, with a discerning gaze, listened to the captain's words. The air grew tense as the fate of Florania hung in the balance, caught between the natural harmony of it’s jungles and the looming shadow of imperial ambitions.

The elder sighed, his voice carrying the weight of wisdom and resolve. "I will never surrender the tranquil world of Florania for such selfish endeavors" he declared, his words echoing like a solemn decree. The soldiers stood firm, their spears a silent testament to the determination to protect their home from the encroaching shadows of imperial ambitions.

Almire, speaking in a sudden laid-back tone, remarked: "I'd rather not have to resort to such drastic measures" The atmosphere shifted as he and the masked squad member pulled out their white P.K blasters, the futuristic weapons aimed directly at the poor villagers. The unspoken threat hung in the air, a tense standoff between the imperial squad and the inhabitants of Florania.

The elder, lowering his head, spoke in a more serious tone: “I ask that you carefully reconsider your actions...I don’t respond kindly to such threats” The weight of the situation pressed upon Sora and Benzi, leaving them standing in shock, uncertain of how to navigate such a tense and unexpected scenario.

Sora stood in shock, his thoughts racing in the midst of the tense standoff. (What's going on? This doesn't seem like something the empire would do...We were told our job is to unify the universe through justice, but this...this isn't justice" The conflict between his beliefs and the actions unfolding before him left Sora torn, grappling with the realization that the empire's agenda might not align with the noble ideals he had initially embraced.

The abrupt sound of a blaster echoed through the air, cutting through the tension. Sora's eyes widened as he looked up, witnessing the Floranian guard on the left falling back, almost as if in slow motion. The vibrant green blood spilled onto the dirt. The reality of violence and bloodshed unfolded before Sora's eyes, shattering the illusions of justice and unity that had been painted by the Crimson Empire.

Captain Almire, once again spoke, "Do you still wish to prolong this pointless bloodshed?" The weight of his words challenging the Floranian inhabitants to reconsider their resistance against the might of the Crimson Empire.

The elder spoke with a growing angered tone as the ground around them shook. "That was your last chance you imperal fools...You all shall not be leaving this forest alive" The ominous declaration echoed through the air, signaling a turning point in the encounter.

The elder Floranian's anger intensified as he raised his wrinkled green hand, prompting Almire and the masked officer to open fire. However, the red plasma beams abruptly slowed down just inches from the elder, allowing him to evade each projectile with little difficulty. The mysterious power wielded by the elder hinted at forces beyond the comprehension of the officers.

The wrinkled Floranian smirked, “Kaiza, go hide with the others...I'll deal with this insufferable pair” The guard fled, leaving the elder to face Almire and the masked officer. With a raised palm, the elder unleashed a fierce burst of force, sending Sora and Benzi staggering backward. Sora collided with a thick tree, while Benzi landed in another, both feeling the impact of the Floranian elder's powerful abilities.

Captain Almire, undeterred by the elder's power, slowly walked towards him, firing several rounds of plasma shots at point-blank range. However, the elder showcased his mastery over his strange power. The projectiles were either slowed down or deflected away as if guided by an unseen force. The display of the elder's abilities presented an ominous challenge, leaving Almire at a disadvantage.

As Sora and Benzi raced back to the scene, they witnessed the masked officer lung out from behind the Floranian elder, their plasmatana piercing through the villager's abdomen, extinguishing the light within the alien's red eyes. The cold act unfolded before Sora and Benzi's eyes, deepening the shadows cast by the empire's actions on the vibrant world.

The masked officer's ruthless act unfolded before Sora and Benzi's eyes, deepening the shadows cast by the empire's actions on the vibrant world. Sora shook with rage and hatred for the crimson officers, ready to voice his dissent. However, Benzi placed a hand on his shoulder, shaking his head with a calm expression. The unspoken message conveyed that this wasn't the right moment to cause a scene among the squad.

Captain Almire, unfazed by the gruesome turmoil, pushed a button on his armor's torso, contacting the Crimson Empire's base on Enos, alerting them that all was clear to send a fleet to Florania for mining. A voice over the radio responded with a simple "Copy that," confirming the next phase of the empire's plans. The shadows deepened as the empire's grip tightened on the tranquil world of Florania...

Back On Enos...

Sora found himself alone in his room, his fist meeting the unyielding resistance of the metal walls. Tears streamed down his face as the haunting mental image of the fallen Floranian soldier replayed in his mind. He couldn't shake the feeling of guilt, blaming himself for not intervening and stopping Almire and the masked officer from ending the lives of the peaceful amphibian race. The weight of the empire's actions bore heavily on Sora's shoulders, driving him to the brink of despair.

After a few minutes of grappling with his emotions, Sora wiped the tears from his eyes and began packing his belongings into a large white circular bookbag. As he opened the door, ready to leave, he was met with the sight of Benzi standing there, arms crossed, wearing a serious expression. Benzi questioned him, "Just where do you think you're off to in such a hurry?"

However, Sora pushed past him, avoiding eye contact, and responded in a depressed tone. "I'm done with the empire, done with the lies. This...this sense of false justice they made me believe in..." The weight of the recent events weighed heavily on Sora's spirit, leading him to question the very foundation of the ideals he had once held dear.

Sora walked down the hall toward the training grounds, with Benzi walking close behind. Benzi warned him: "Leaving the empire is a death sentence. They view people who leave as mere traitors to the emperor" However, Sora responded, "It's better to be seen as a traitor, than a monster..." His words carried the weight of disillusionment and a newfound resolve to distance himself from the dark path the empire had set before him.

As they made their way onto the tiled platform of the training grounds, Sora headed toward a small metal armory located in the far corner of the yard. The armory, resembling a medium-sized metal shed, held an array of weapons for soldiers to train with. The metallic gleam of equipment shined through the side window of the armory as Sora contemplated his next move.

Benzi, in a hushed yet freaked-out tone, asked Sora, "What the hell are you doing!?" Ignoring the question, Sora thought for a moment before remembering the code to the armory. He typed it into the keypad on the door, and with a click, the door automatically slid open, revealing the array of weapons within.

Sora gazed over the rows of weapons perfectly hung on the wall and aligned on the table. Blasters, plasma knives, swords, and grenades—all unprotected. The metallic arsenal, a testament to the tools of power and destruction, stood within arm's reach, each weapon whispering the promise of a choice yet to be made.

Sora's hand hovered over the array of weapons, and he selected a sleek, compact blaster known as the P.K.001 (Plasma Kinetic Blaster) The white finish resembled a pistol, and it’s design featured an ergonomic grip for precision and ease of use. The blaster felt firm and balanced in his grasp.

Next, he chose a few GX.002 (Advanced Gravity Grenades), each emitting a red light. The exterior had a polished and futuristic look. These grenades, with their enhanced gravity field, promised to be potent tools for manipulating the battlefield.

As Sora secured the weapons in his bag, a mix of determination and uncertainty played on his face. The arsenal he now carried spoke of a decision to stand against the ones he once thought of as heroes. Benzi stared at Sora with a mix of concern and disbelief. "This is crazy, Sora. There's no way we'll even make it out of the citadel alive if we go through with this!"

Sora rolled his eyes, a flicker of frustration in his expression. "You're free to head back to your room Benzi. Act like you never saw me if you won't go with me" His words carried a weight of determination, leaving the choice in Benzi's hands.

With the grenades secured in his bag and the pistol at his side, Sora decided to take a red plasmatana as well, ensuring he had a close combat option. He slid the weapon onto his back and, without looking back, made his way inside the corridor, heading up a level to the third floor of dorm rooms.

Sora's steps echoed through the corridor as he made his way through the corridor. Benzi groaned, muttering, "You're lucky we're friends," and followed him down the hall. Sora took out his crimson officer helmet, concealing his identity as he approached room 301. He knocked on the door and the pilot from their mission opened the door. The pilot, scratching his head in confusion, commented: "Uh, can I help you, sir? What's with the helmet? Is this some kind of prank?"

Sora took a deep breath, making his voice sound deeper as he pulled out his plasma pistol, aiming it at point-blank range at Neon's forehead. "Hand over the keys to the ship," he demanded, "unless you want to be shot straight through the skull." The room fell silent, tension hanging thick in the air as the pilot processed the gravity of the situation.

Neon raised one hand in surrender while slowly reaching into his pocket. In a shaky voice he responded, "Okay, okay! Don't shoot! Just take it easy!" He pulled out a small blue, neon-glowing card, a keycard to the ship, as the tension in the room remained palpable.

Sora carefully took the keycard from Neon's trembling hand, maintaining a vigilant eye on the pilot. Slowly backing away, he kept his firearm locked on the pilot until he was out of sight. Once downstairs, Sora holstered his weapon and walked outside toward the docking platform, Benzi close behind. The stolen keycard in hand, they approached the spacecraft, ready to embark on an uncharted journey beyond the reaches of the Crimson Empire.

As Sora scanned the keycard, opening the hatch to the ship, a sudden barrage of red beams flew past them. They turned to see a squad of crimson soldiers marching toward them. The soldiers spoke in unison, their voices masked by their helmets, “STAND DOWN AND GET ON YOUR KNEES!!” The unexpected encounter escalated the tension, leaving Sora and Benzi with limited options as the Crimson soldiers closed in.

In a swift move, Sora tossed the keycard to Benzi, shouting urgently, "Get the ship started, Benzi!" Despite the hesitation in Benzi's eyes, he knew there was no time to argue. He rushed onto the ship as Sora slowly unsheathed the plasmatana from his back. The blade became veiled in red plasmic energy, a silent proclamation of defiance against the encroaching crimson soldiers. The standoff unfolded, leaving Sora standing alone, ready to face the imperial forces in a desperate bid for freedom.

Dozens of red beams flew at Sora with relentless speed. The young warrior moved with quick and agile motions, deflecting beams and dodging others. The plasmatana in his hand became an extension of his will, the veiled red plasmic energy dancing at the tip of the blade. Sora focused on the approaching targets, beads of sweat forming on his forehead as he skillfully deflected the oncoming barrage from four blasters simultaneously. The dance of energy and metal unfolded, a testament to Sora's determination and skill in the face of overwhelming odds.

In the midst of the intense confrontation, Sora's blood ran cold when he spotted the crimson elite standing at the gate of the citadel. The tall man, with long black hair, purple eyes, and elf-like ears, exuded an air of formidable authority. This sight caused Sora to lose focus for a brief moment, and in that vulnerable instance, a plasma beam struck the side of his helmet, singeing it. The searing heat and the sudden jolt snapped Sora back to the immediate danger at hand, intensifying the urgency of his duel against the imperial forces.

The elite officer, unaffected by the chaos around him, slowly walked down the path toward Sora. The barrage of red lasers flew past him without making an impact. He unsheathed a purple plasmatana from his side, the distinct color setting it apart from the standard red weaponry.

Just then Sora cried out, "Benzi, hurry! Start the damn ship!" The urgency in his voice resonated as Sora continued to deflect what felt like an endless barrage of plasma blasts. Benzi, inside the ship, slammed the keycard into the key slot at the front of the ship. The deck lit up, powering on, and the hum of the spacecraft's engines echoed through the air, a glimmer of hope in the face of impending danger.

The elite guard stood before Sora, his expression serious as he spoke with a cold tone. "You won't be going anywhere," he declared. Raising his palm in the young warrior’s direction. That’s when Sora felt his body become restricted, unable to move as he floated off the ground. The young warrior found himself suspended in mid-air, a strange force constricting around him. The escape plan hung in the balance as the elite guard showcased his formidable power.

The elite guard stared at Sora with a cold, unwavering gaze. "Traitors have no use within the emperor's new world" he declared, his voice echoing with authority. As he slowly closed his fist, the force restricting Sora's body intensified. Sora felt the pressure growing stronger, making it increasingly difficult for him to breathe. The weight of the elite's power bore down on him, with him struggling against the invisible force that held him captive in mid-air.

As Sora began to slowly lose consciousness under the intensifying force, an abrupt blaster shot echoed through the air. The beam had struck the elite guard in the torso, causing him to lose focus on his hold. Sora dropped from the suspended position, only to be quickly grabbed by Benzi. As the ship's ramp closed, the spacecraft ascended into the red sky, narrowly escaping the clutches of the elite guard. The unexpected rescue granted Sora a chance to recover and reassess the situation as the ship sped away from the citadel, leaving the crimson world behind...

The elite officer slowly rose to his feet, his dark glare fixated on the sky where the escaping spacecraft disappeared. The other officers rushed up to him with one asking if he was alright. However, the elite officer remained silent, his eyes reflecting a brooding intensity as he continued to stare at the now empty expanse of the red sky. The escape of Sora and Benzi left an unresolved tension lingering in the air, casting a shadow over the crimson citadel.

The dark-haired man turned away from the open sky, making his way back inside, through the corridors of the crimson citadel. He walked with purpose until he stood before a large, imposing purple door. The towering steel doors slowly opened before him, revealing a large circular room. The black marble floor and red steel walls created an atmosphere of foreboding. The citadel's banner hung prominently behind a black stone throne, where a figure sat in the darkness. Only their illuminating purple eyes and silhouette of their sitting position, with one leg crossed over the other and head resting on their left fist were visible within the dimly lit room.

The air carried an aura of authority and secrecy as the dark figure observed the developments within the citadel. That’s when the figure spoke with a stern but elegant male voice: "Commander," the emperor's voice echoed in the circular room, carrying an air of elegant authority. "Explain the disturbance that unfolded before me. I have little patience for incompetence, so do make it worth my time" he continued, his words laced with a subtle condescension that hinted at his disdain for anything less than perfection.

The once calm and emotionless guard suddenly grew uneasy as the emperor's powerful gaze glared down on him from upon the throne. Feeling the weight of the emperor's disappointment, he knelt before them, his head bowed in submission. "Forgive me, your Eminence," he began, his voice trembling with a mixture of fear and regret. "I have failed to capture the traitors, it was an unforeseen circumstance, I take full responsibility for the lapse in our vigilance" The room fell into a tense silence, awaiting the emperor's response to this admission of failure.

The emperor slowly rose to his feet, as he walked toward his royal guard, the knelt figure could feel a growing force, as if the gravity around him was intensifying with each step the emperor took. The air became dense with immense pressure, the emperor's displeasure manifesting in the unseen weight that bore down on the guard. The tense atmosphere within the room seemed to echo the gravity of the emperor's response to the admitted failure.

The floor beneath the soldier began to crack from the growing pressure as the emperor looked down at him. His voice carried a mix of disdain and acknowledgment. "You're fortunate, Commander, you may be a great asset to the empire, but don't mistake my leniency for weakness. Any normal officer would be lying dead beneath my feet for such incompetence" The words hung in the air, a stark reminder of the precarious balance between favor and consequence within the crimson citadel.

The emperor placed his white boot down on the commander's hand, grinding his foot down with deliberate force, adding to the growing weight of pressure nearly crushing the follower's bare palm. The commander winced in pain, unable to hide the discomfort as the emperor leaned in close to his face. The emperor's gaze bore into the commander's eyes, his proximity heightening the tension in the room.

The emperor continued to exert pressure on the commander's hand, his voice taking on a dark tone as he whispered, "Remember this well, Commander. Those who fail to accomplish their orders are nothing more than trash that must be erased from my growing world" A chilling reminder of the emperor's ruthless pursuit of perfection and his expectation of unwavering loyalty.

The emperor turned away, resuming his seat on the throne. The immense force vanished, releasing the commander from it’s grip. The crushed hand now dripped with blood, a painful testament to the consequences of failure within the crimson empire. The room fell into an uneasy silence as the commander, granted a reprieve, struggled to regain his composure in the aftermath of the emperor's harsh reprimand...

CHAPTER 2 : A New Dream

In the void of space, Benzi struggled to control the ship. Sora, sitting in the front chair next to him, hastily strapped himself in as the spacecraft shook with slight turbulence. "Do you even know what you're doing!?" Sora questioned, concern etched across his face.

Benzi, frustrated, shot back, "My father was an expert pilot of an attack force. I picked up some tips when I was a kid, alright!? We'll make it out of here in one piece!" The determined glint in Benzi's eyes hinted at a resolve born from necessity, a drive to navigate the ship through the challenges of space.

He quickly initiated a scan to locate any nearby planets suitable for landing. The scanner soon revealed one planet within a reasonable distance, given the limited fuel that prevented them from warping out of the current system. The decision to land on this unknown planet marked the next step in their journey, a leap into the unknown.

As the ship soared through the cosmic expanse, Benzi tightly gripped the wheel, guiding the spacecraft toward the detected planet. From the vastness of space, the world presented itself as a pale blue jewel immersed in the cosmic sea. The planet's icy surface was shrouded in an unending blizzard, creating a mesmerizing spectacle of swirling clouds and icy winds.

The snow-covered plains extended endlessly, glistening like a sea of diamonds beneath the pale blue light. The planet's surface seemed to be in perpetual motion, as if the very essence of it was encapsulated in the eternal dance of ice and wind. The spacecraft approached the frozen world, revealing a haunting beauty that could only be fully comprehended from the cosmic expanse.

Sora sighed, his breath visible in the chilled air asking: "So, this is it, huh?" Benzi nodded in acknowledgment before taking the ship in, descending into the frozen world. The spacecraft entered the thick blizzard, struggling against the swirling winds and snow, making it difficult to see anything beyond the icy haze. The journey into this new frozen world had begun, plunging Sora and Benzi into the heart of the mysterious and frigid planet.

The ship descended further into the frozen world, battling against the thick blizzard that enveloped them. The spacecraft shook violently from the growing turbulence, making it difficult for Benzi to navigate through the swirling snow. Amid the chaos, Sora cried out, "Watch out!" However, it was too late. The ship collided with the side of a large ice formation, causing it to spiral out of control.

Sora's chair broke loose in the impact, and he was flung out of the ship, disappearing into the blizzard as the spacecraft continued it’s erratic descent. “SORA!” Benzi cried out, struggling to regain control over the spiraling aircraft...
