Panic threatened to overwhelm Rei, his mind racing in a tumultuous storm of fear and doubt. Yet, in the nick of time, he managed to regain his composure, a steely determination settling in his eyes as he evaded the creature's deadly charge.

"Calm down, Rei," he whispered to himself, his voice laced with self-reassurance. "Even if you are strong now, you can still die if you get overwhelmed by fear and get careless." Rei wiped the cold sweat from his brow, his breaths coming in ragged gasps as the adrenaline coursed through his veins.

With newfound resolve, Rei summoned his "Spectral Blades." The transformation was nothing short of spectacular. Two magnificent black blades materialized in his hands, seemingly forged from the shadows themselves. The blades exuded an aura of power and menace, a tangible manifestation of Rei's growing strength.

The wolf, undeterred by its previous failed charge, growled menacingly and lunged once more. Rei's reflexes were now honed to a razor's edge. He dodged the creature's snapping jaws with an agile side-step and retaliated swiftly, his Spectral Blades flashing like ebony lightning.

The blades found their mark, sinking deep into the massive neck of the wolf. The beast's pained howl echoed through the wilderness, and it crashed to the ground, lifeblood gushing from its wound, staining the verdant grass crimson. It was Rei's first time killing a living thing, and a tumultuous mix of emotions surged within him. The exhilaration of victory mingled with a somber realization of the weight of his actions in this new world.

As Rei gazed at the spot where the monster's body once lay, he noticed that it had disappeared, leaving behind two items. Curiosity piqued, Rei extended his hand to claim the rewards, but just as he was about to touch them, the automated voice interrupted his thoughts.

Rei's brows furrowed in thought. "Huh, this world really is like a game," he mused to himself, his voice tinged with a sense of wonder and intrigue. He knew that there was more to discover in this fantastical realm.

With anticipation building in his heart, Rei reached into his pocket and retrieved the first gacha orb. As he opened it, a burst of magic filled the air, revealing a skill called "Analyze." It granted him the ability to perceive and comprehend the strengths, weaknesses, and hidden traits of both living beings and inanimate objects.

Moving on to the second pull, he eagerly opened the orb and discovered the "Transfer" skill. The description explained that this unique ability allowed him to bestow the skills he pulled from gacha upon his loyal companions and servants. It was a skill that held the potential for immense synergy and growth.

As Rei proceeded to the third pull, his heart skipped a beat as a small, adorable creature emerged—a puppy. But not just any puppy—it was the legendary beast Fenrir, appearing in its infant form. Its innocent eyes looked up at Rei, and he couldn't help but smile.
