POV Eliza

The three looked at me in surprise. One of the two boys spoke up.

“But of course, there’s always room for beautiful women here.” <Boy>

I then sat down at the table and ignored the comment. Since I was transformed as a human, I could not rejoice. As a woman, I was just average in appearance, but that only served me well. I didn't want to attract attention. I had barely sat down when the girl slapped the boy on the back of the head.

“Stay calm, Ken. You can't always be so bold about hitting on every girl the first time you meet." <Girl>

“Ouch, Lynn. What is that for? I was just telling the truth.” <Ken>

Now that I was sitting, I was able to take a closer look at the three of them. The boy who spoke first has short, blonde hair and an average build. A look with appraisal told me that he was 16 and an archer in class. According to the status, the boy, who had not said a single word so far, was called Ronnen and was a warrior. He looked very strong, with close-cropped dark brown hair and was also 16. The girl named Lynn was a wizard and 15. She had long red hair and was quite attractive. The three seemed to have known each other for a long time because they seemed very familiar with each other. Then I got my stew. It smelled very aromatic and I couldn't wait to try it. I continued talking to the others during the meal.

“You seem to know each other well. By the way, I'm Eliza. Are you adventurers?” <Eliza>

"Yes we are. We acquired our license two months ago and have been doing smaller jobs ever since. I'm Ken and you've already met Lynn. The silent one here next to me is Ronnen. Don't bother, he's generally calm and peaceful." <Ken>

The boy next to Ken smiled and nodded.

“I’ve never seen you here before, Eliza. Are you new in town?” <Ken>

“Yes, I just got here today.” <Eliza>

“And you’re interested in adventurers? Very good, you can ask me anything you want to know. I'm a professional." <Ken>

“Now calm down, Ken. You're only scaring her. At least let her eat in peace.” <Lynn>

“No problem, I asked on my own. I don’t mind.” <Eliza>

“See, Lynn, she has no problem with it. So let me, or aren’t you curious?” <Ken>

"That is not the point here. Eliza, why are you interested in adventurers? Do you want to become one yourself?” <Lynn>

“Yes, I want to become one myself. It became too crowded in my village. I want to experience more than just that countryside life. The world is too big to stay at home.” <Eliza>

“We can understand that. The three of us are all from the same village and moved out to see the world.” <Lynn>

“And to become rich and famous.” <Ken>

“Ken wants to be a hero, that’s his dream. Right, Ken?” <Lynn>

“Just making fun of me. Leave me my dream.” Ken

“I don’t want to take away your dream, but it’s not as easy as you imagine.” <Lynn>

"Yeah yeah. I’ll keep following him anyway.” <Ken>

“What do I need to become an adventurer?” <Eliza>

“Hmm, are you 15 already?” <Lynn>

“Yes, I’m 15.” <Eliza>

“Then you have overcome the only important hurdle. The rest will be explained to you at the guild.” <Lynn>

“If you need help with this, we’ll be happy to help you. And you don't have to look at me like that, Lynn." <Ken>

“…” <Lynn>

“I would like to come back to it. After all, I don’t even know what the guild looks like or where I can find it.” <Eliza>

“Come with us tomorrow. We'll take you there. We want to look for new quests anyway.” <Ken>

“That sounds good, I’d be happy to come with you. We can meet for breakfast.” Eliza

The three all agree by nodding. We continued talking for a while until I said goodbye. I had to get to my room in time before my transformation ended. In my room I recapitulated the day again and was excited to see what I would experience tomorrow. The first day as a human in this world ended quiet well.
