many years have passed since Cassandra Cruz started working in this company in, at first she was excited to finally experience the working world since she left her home at 17, but little did she know that it was not as easy as it seems, for many years she had work, she barely experience having a salary raise or get a promotion, she was always the servant of her fellow workers and the reason is simple, she am a woman, according to her boss a woman is only created to be a mans servant and she should appreciate being able to work under them.

After a very long time since she have a day off all she have been doing is sleeping, but the she got woken up by a call.

"Hello, what can I help you in this fine morning," said Cassandra in her work voice

"I need you to come to work today, I don't care if it's your day off, I pay you" said the person on the other line.

"But I have been working nonstop Mr. Mendoza" answered Cassandra

"so? We are lacking people and some are sick if you don't get your" ass over here within the hour or say goodbye to your job" answered Mr. Mendoza and he hang up

While still feeling sleepy and out of focus she decided to take a warm shower to wake herself up, after 15 minutes she finally prepared herself and the things she will need and went on her way to her workplace.

Since traffic is normal in manila it took her about 30 minutes to arrive and with 15 minutes to spare she went to the café near the office a brought a macchiato.

After buying she went and go to her boss's office.

"Look who finally arrives" said her boss while smiling creepily

"what kind of work do you need help with Mr. Mendoza" ask Cassandra

"Mmmmm nothing much, just your service" he answered while slowly moving closer to Cassandra

"Sir if you do not have work for me while ask me to come to work when it's supposed to be my day off?" she ask while slowly moving back but she was too slow and her boss is already in front of her

"simple what I need is you" he said while holding Cassandra's chin

She got scared and try to remove her boss's hands but to no avail, her boss gripped tightened while his other hand slowly went over her body

"you look so beautiful and hot, you know women like you will earn a lot more by selling your body to other people than working here, or maybe you work here because you want a piece of this" Cassandra saw that her boss is slowly opening his pants while being in a panic she remembers that she is still holding her hot coffee and she decided to throw it to her boss

Suddenly getting burned by the hot coffee, Mr. Mendoza went to and let go of her, after being free she tried to run but because she is wearing heels she didn't manage to rather she ended up being caught by her hair

"Stop there you little shit, after I'm done with you I will make sure you won't survive what I will do to you" he warned her

After being caught she already loses hope as she is slowly being stripped by her boss

"please anything but this" she pleaded but all the boss can think of is her under him moaning.

while being touched she felt disgusted with her body, the pain of losing her innocence lingers and all she can think of is why did this happen to her, what if she followed her parent's orders will she still be safe

Flashback

"I TOLD YOU I DON'T WANT TO BE A DOCTOR, I AM NOT SMART AS MY SISTER NOR TALENTED AS MY BROTHER, WHY ARE YOU FORCING ME," asks a 17 years old Cassandra

"WE ARE DOING THIS FOR YOUR FUTURE, IF YOU DO NOT WANT TO FOLLOW US THEN GET OUT OF MY HOUSE, YOU ARE NOT MY DAUGHTER ANYMORE "Yelled Cassandra's father

"FINE ILL LEAVE, YOU NEVER EVEN CARE ABOUT ME, TO MY FUTURE? ARE YOU FUCKING KIDDING ME YOU JUST WANT ME TO BE A DOCTOR BECAUSE MY OLDER SIBLINGS ARE DOCTORS AND LAWYERS, YOU JUST WANT ME FOR MONEY, WHEN I WAS YOUNG NONE OF YOU ATTENDED MY PERFORMANCES, MEETINGS, AND AWARDINGS, ALL YOU CARE ABOUT IS THEM NOT ME IS IT BECAUSE I'M ADOPTED? IS IT BECAUSE IM THE DAUGHTER OF YOUR MISTRESS?" yelled Cassandra while clenching her fist

"Adopted? you know you are adopted," asks Cassandra's mother who is staying silently before being shocked by their daughter's knowledge

"Yes I know ever since I was 10 I saw another woman talking to dad about wanting to see her child and did you know that she said my name, I didn't mind but as time goes by that made me realize that the reason I am neglected is because of it" Cassandra answered while crying

"I waited and waited for the time that you both will love and care for me, the time you will treat me like your own child, the time you tell me the truth, but did it come? No, because you never bothered to talk to me, when I was sick you just tell me to drink the medicine that is available and you were supposed to be my mom, while when Ate got a little cold you went to the hospital to get her check?

that's why ever since then I stop talking and interacting with all of you and I can see your happiness when I did that, you act normal, you didn't even know that I was getting bullied, you know what I'm tired, don't call me your daughter because I will be leaving this house" after saying what is In her heart Cassandra went and gather some clothes while both her mom and dad stayed quite slowly recalling back those times and feeling a bit guilty

Once she got all the things she need Cassandra went to the door and felt that her mom Is holding her wrist "please I'm sorry, don't leave us we will be the family you want, let us fix our mistakes" said her mom while crying loudly

Cassandra forcefully thug her wrist away from her mom and opened the door

"thank you for giving me a shelter for these past 17 years goodbye" without looking back she left the people who were supposed to be

to be her family.

Present:

After she got touched by her boss she put her clothes on and tries to escape her boss's room but failed when she got caught by the wrist and thrown into the glass window since the office is a small one the materials aren't as strong so it got destroyed and Cassandra fell, in her point of view everything is upside down that's when she realizes that she is falling so all she can do is to accept her fate, "hehe I guess this is it" she closed her eyes and felt her body collided with the floor after going down from the 5th floor.

In the Cruz household, they have received a phone call from their eldest daughter who is working as a surgeon at UST

"Mom Dad, she is gone" informed their daughter who is crying nonstop

"honey why are you crying, who is gone " ask her mother

"Cassandra is" after saying the name of their daughter who they haven't seen for 8 years the two got shocked

"Caitlyn, what do you mean she's gone? of course, she is gone she left our house didn't she" ask the dad who still didn't understand while the mom thought deeply

"SHE IS GONE AS IN DEAD, SHE FELL AFTER BEING ASSAULTED BY HER BOSS IN THE AGENCY THAT SHE WORK IN, SHE FELL WHEN SHE TRIED TO ESCAPE BUT GOT THROWN TO THE WINDOW BECAUSE OF IT BEING MADE FROM LOW-QUALITY MATERIAL IT BROKE AND SHE FELL IT ALL BEEN CAUGHT BY THAT OFFICE CAMERA" yelled Caitlyn while recalling the time she got called in for an emergency and saw that the person who is in critical condition is her younger sister that she didn't manage to protect

 she thought to herself that if only she didn't leave then maybe we might have met in different circumstance and she would still be alive, after being mentally drained all she can do is sit on the floor and cry, before the surgery she already knew that it was pointless, the injuries that her little sister receive is too much

After hearing that the couple went to the hospital where their youngest body is being kept, all the things they did to her went back as fast as a ride in an amusement park, every turn the dad takes he remembers not acknowledging her and how he and his wife ignored her.
