Lifegold Godwood came from the Lifegold Godtree, one the most mystical trees in existence. It would be in the top one hundred of life-type wood, and was currently the best life-type wood Yang Yang could obtained. Of course, it would be ideal if he could find the number one life-type wood in existence, the Primordial Godwood from the Primordial Tree of Life.

He placed the woods and a few items he purchased together and shot the small flame at them. "I am the Scion of Life, prince of the Overworld. With the Flame of Purity, cleanse all impurities within the vessels. Shed mortality, cast gold, and burn wickedness. Let the flame that which made man into the vessels and bring forth gods. Pure Flame Magic: Cleansing Life."

In ancient legends, it was said that the universe was empty, filled with only a vast space of darkness known as the Dark Void. Later, water and earth would appear and, from those elements, sentient life emerged. Then, metal and wood appeared which gave these sentient life complexity in shape and existence. However, they were unintelligent and chaotic.

They killed each other, ate each other, died from the freezing terrain, or died from the chaotic natural law of the universe. Then, the Life God descended from the heavens and gave fire to a tribe of these creatures, a tribe who was more intelligent than the rest. The fire further developed the tribe's intelligence, gave them power, and lead them to victory against the other tribes. It was said that it fire lead to civilization because it cleansed life from all which was deathly and wicked. Later, the tribe would evolved into humans and humanity would worshiped this fire as the "Flame of Purity."

All Life Magic magi have the potential to summon the Flame of Purity, but only the Scion of Life has the privilege to summon it as early at the Virtual Aspect level. For other Life Magic magi, they would have to ascend and become angels to obtain the rights to use this flame.

The Flame of Purity did not burn the Lifegold Godwood, but melted it instead. It was almost like actually gold as it melt into streams of hot, red metal. Dark gas would emit from the metal, but then disappear. Only after all the dark gas were cleansed from the godwood did Yang Yang spoke another spell. "Life Magic: Immortal Khakkhura!"

The nine golden streams of godwood twisted and churned. One stream twisted and compacted itself in a way that it turned into a two-meter long stick that was as thick as a broom. The eight other streams crawled and twirled around the stick like serpents and then formed into a giant loop at the end of the stick with six metallic rings. It was a khakkhura, a staff used by ancient Life Magic magi, divine priests, and the most exalted of angels.

Yang Yang picked up the golden khakkhura and formed a soul-bond with it. As the creator of his weapon, he easily connected it with his soul. Soon, a golden khakkhura appeared on the magic aspect as well.

"Wonderful! Besides the Orb of Three Lives, my breakthrough into the Virtual Aspect level was perfect."

The Immortal Khakkhura was a special, divine treasure that was created by a spell. In many grimoires, there were certain spells that can summon treasure as long as a perfect medium was there for the treasure to manifest itself into. The Life Essence Grimoire was no different and can actually summon many divine treasures. This Immortal Khakkhura was the primary weapon of the Life Essence Grimoire's user.

Although, the Immortal Khakkhura in his hand was not the same as the Immortal Khakkhura of the legendary Life God or of the same power as the one in his previous life, it was best weapon he could possibly obtain right now. Moreover, this one would grow with him over time, possibly becoming stronger than his previous life's Immortal Khakkhura.

He grabbed the Immortal Khakkhura and played with it for a while, then stored it away in an interspatial ring. Yang Yang dispelled his spell formations and laid on the ground to rest. He closed his eyes and relaxed.

......

“Your holiness, the energy core is full. It should be enough to break through the spell formation.”

“Oh? Well done. I’ll break it now. Tell me, have we receive contacts from those two yet?”

“Not yet, your holiness. Perhaps we should send the seraphim of death there?”

“Hm...no. I already sent those two dark archangels. By now, they probably arrived at that place he chose to reincarnate into. After this, it’ll take us maybe a hundred years to reach there.”

The sound of glass shattering echoed throughout the darkness. Cheers and laughter resounded out, especially the joyful, chilling laughter of a young woman. “Charge!”

Suddenly, an the sound explosion spread across the darkness. “What the hell just happened?”

“Your holiness, we are under attack!”

“Damn it! Kill them all!”

”Your holiness, they must be from th- AYEEEEE!” The sounds of swords and arrows swept throughout.

“Damn you! You think you can just interfere with my plans!? You are courting death!”

Miserable wails and chilling screams. Mad laughter and heroic cries. The tearing of flesh and flaying of skins. The cracking of bones and smashing of organs. Within the everlasting darkness, only the light of magic was visible, creating a artistic scene of war and chaos.

“Die! Die! Die! Die! The more that dies, the better!” The faint light of a scythe could be seen within the black void, along with thousands of screams that followed it.

“Hmph! Now there you are. I knew that something was up. Now that I am drained, you think you can ambush me! Well surprise, bitches. Now that you are here, don’t think about leaving! I’m sending you to my Underworld, in the deepest hell, and in the darkest pits of abyss!”

Just when a mighty battle was about to take place, a rushing sound silenced the surrounding. A flash of golden light broke the darkness.

A pair of eyes snapped open. Heavy breathing echoed in the air. Confusion and murkiness fill the eyes. “What, what was that?”
